I was in need of a licensed professional plumber to install a new dishwasher, due to warranty and insurance purposes. I called a couple other places and was quoted cost dates and times that didn't meet my required time line. The Plumbing Guys are exceptional in professionalism, timeliness and cost! I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. They are a Veteran owned business, a bonus bit of information that I found out while the install was taking place. Highly recommended! read more

I contacted The Plumbing Guys as well as 3 others for estimates to address the problem (toilet leaking at the base when flushed). The Plumbing Guys responded sooner than others, provided a clear and reasonable estimate, and then scheduled a day for the work. The work was done on time, as described, & there were no hidden charges. In addition, I got a little advice about other plumbing related issues I wondered about. I really appreciated the quality work, the timely responses, and the respectful way they all interacted with me. Definitely recommended with no reservations. read more

Reliable, professional and expedient. They came the day after I called to do the install of two toilets.

The Plumbings Guys wrote me an estimate and did not break it down to parts and labor. I call their office to get a breakdown and also to get their hourly rate. The lady at office said they don't breakdown their estimates so I ask what their hourly rate was and she refused to tell me. So I ask how many hours am I being charged and she refused to tell me that also. This company in my opinion was scamming me. Why would they not tell their hourly rate? Why would they not tell me how many hours to do the job? Why would they not tell me the cost of parts? These are basic questions that customers would like answered and they refuse. Four valves replaced and change out my water softener that I bought already. Estimate was : With three valve bypass - Ball valve PP 1" 1" valve for a hole house turn off - Install Customer's Water Softener and filter 1,520.73 Whole house shutoff valve 278.20 Tax 8.80% 158.31 CUSTOMER Estimate Total: $1,957.24 read more

Super responsive and competitively priced. I filled out the form online for service and received a call the next day!

I am very satisfied with the work that Plumber Aaron did for me on 05/20/24. He is a thorough professional who knows what he is doing. I appreciated his punctuality & respectful communication skills, pleasant personality & likable demeanor listening to queries-answering to dispel doubts. I can see why The Plumbing Guys received high reviews in Anacortes. Cheryl B read more

My first interaction started with Shawna, who was friendly, responsive, and informative. We exchanged emails so I could explain what work we were trying to get done (from a house inspection report); again, she was quickly responsive. I let her know we were also looking to do additional work and she shared a list of referral sources that I could reach out to for those other projects (I've also used one of those and they were great!) She got Dustin out to the house quickly to take a look at the work that needed to be done and they got us a quick quote. We got Dustin out quickly to get that work done; he was quick, friendly, helpful, and informative. The cost for the work that was done was at a great price! He was also able to save us ~$100 to do the work a little differently but with the same effect. I never felt like I was being 'upselled', which I super appreciated. All my interactions with them have been done well, and we're happy! I plan to use them in the future. I would highly recommend Shawna, Dustin, and The Plumbing Guys. read more

I respect people who understand and do plumbing work. It's a tough job, and requires going into people's homes -- even worse, these are people who are upset by something unexpectedly broken, and they have jobs and families to take care of, and may or may not have the time or money to deal with a water emergency. I can tell The Plumbing Guys also respected us. They came promptly, when they said they would: 9:00 AM. If masks are important to you, the guy even wore a mask -- an N95, which I respect as they are often working in some crappy places (no pun intended) with odd fumes anyway. And unlike CPI Plumbing (which my husband called first), he understood immediately how to turn off our water main, and even explained to us where the shut off is. I respect that. It's important to know these things in case of emergencies, natural disasters, etc etc. Unlike, CPI Plumbing (which charged us $75.62 for just coming out there and not doing anything, not even telling us what was wrong, but proposing to make us pay $1300 for the repair. For chrissakes, it was just a worn out cartridge for the shower tub faucet, people! I'm not even a plumber, and I knew what was wrong.) It cost more for CPI's stupid "dispatch" than it does for the shower faucet part), The Plumbing Guys HAD the part on their truck and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. People don't hire plumbers for small talk or deep conversation. That was all the CPI Plumbing guy did, when he came out. He lied about not having parts, asked me how to pronounce my name which I absolutely hate and was completely unnecessary, and even said, "I'm sorry this happened to you." Bull feces. Whereas, The Plumbing Guys just FIXED the problem, so that we could all go back to doing our jobs, unlike CPI Plumbing. read more

First off after emailing 4 companies over the weekend when our faucet failed and had connections so jammed we couldn't get them loose, I got a response 10 mins later from Shawna at Plumbing Guys with a full quote. We were able to book for the next morning. The next morning Arron was so prompt he made it 10 mins ahead of the estimated time. He was friendly polite, got the work done quickly, made adjustments as necessary, and even suggested a couple of things that might be handy to have done in the future without making a sales pitch just to be efficient and help us prevent future issues. Two thumbs up, any plumbing work we have done again , we know who we are going to call.. The Plumbing Guys. read more

Many thanks to Aaron who installed an outdoor faucet to save me dragging hoses around the yard. He was super considerate and did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone if all their employees are the quality of Aaron. read more

Dustin came to do a camera inspection of our sewer pipe. Our plumbing is old and weird and the camera couldn't physically go around all the angles in the pipes under the house, but Dustin kept trying different approaches. He finally said we'd have to dig and create a new sewer clean out. So we'll have that done, but he didn't charge very much for all that work he went to. He was so polite and worked really hard. Thanks Dustin and The Plumbing Guys! read more

Plumber Guy Bill came to quote us a price to have gas ran under our house from our furnace to our new stove we were wanting to install. He was able to quote and in stall in the same day which was fantastic. Bill was helpful, answered all my questions, and did a great job. The job went smoothly and took less time than Bill had originally thought. He ended up dropping $100 off the price quoted. It was fantastic to get this service that I was paying for the same day it was quoted and at less than what it was quoted. I would definitely call The Plumber Guy again. read more

I have used the Plumbing Guys in the past and was very pleased with their service, knowledge and, pricing. I Called them recently to have some major plumbing work done, no one answers the phone, fine. No one returns your call, I left two messages. So I tried on-line, Shawna responded right away, we talked back and forth she sent -------- out. I will be nice and not say his name. Very nice man, told me he would get back to me with an estimate. I never heard back from him. I reached out to Shawna to find out about the estimate and to let her know I was waiting and needing to line things up. I was ghoasted by her. I gave them almost 3 faluable weeks, before I had to move on, that was back in February and I still have not heard from them. I know they must be slammed like everyone else, but please do not leave people hanging. Just let them know you can't get to them or do not want to do their project. I really wanted to stay local in my town and give these guys by business. Bummed they lost it! read more

Watch out for extra charges these "Guys" add into your bill based upon undisclosed "flat rate" charges. They offer a new replacement toilet at a stated price low enough to attract business: $500 installed, plus applicable taxes, including dispatch and arrival to the job. In practice, however, this pricing can be misleading for many installations, when coupled with undisclosed "flat rate" charges on frequently necessary but non-included items, whereby the price increases significantly. While on the job (i.e., after dispatch and arrival in your truck) their plumber swapped out the water stop (under 5 minutes, material cost ~ $15, for a non-advertised flat rate charge of $49) and installed a new flange (under 20 minutes, material cost under $30, for a non-advertised flat rate charge of $199), both materials being typically in stock and on the truck, because, as the plumber indicated, they are very frequently needed. As a result, the installation charge, exclusive of materials, increased $200 for half an hour additional time on the job - thereby roughly doubling the installation charge. Total cost, including tax, was $814 instead of $534. On inquiry, the owner responded, "Cheap plumbing isn't good and good plumbing isn't cheap." I don't disagree, but suggest that good pricing isn't tricky, and tricky pricing isn't good. Be sure you know in advance the likely cost or normal cost range for your job, and you'll not be surprised by the bill these "Guys" present you afterwards. read more

Dale was great replacing two water heaters that were failing. Did a great job explaining the repair and made additional upgrades to the recirculation circuits that will make any additional troubleshooting easy. Estimate was free and came in right at the estimated cost. read more

We have had The Plumbing Guys do two jobs for us and they really know what they are doing. In fact, the job that "Dale" had to do today was to fix a problem caused by the last plumber we called because The Plumbing Guys were booked up. The other plumbing company caused our recirculating pump on our water heater to burn up so Dale put on a new one today. He explained to me how it had actually been installed wrong by the builder to begin with and I even Googled it to see what was the correct way and he was 100% spot on. He did a very good job, was very neat, pleasant, and cracked me up how fast he walked to go get parts from his truck. He wasn't wasting time! In the future, we won't call anybody else but The Plumbing Guys ! ! ! read more

1 of the things that I like most was the ability to schedule & communicate with them (Shawna) electronically (email) and not have to leave multiple voice mail messages to make arrangements etc. Their tech showed up on time, was EXTREMELY courteous and did an excellent job. AND they ended up charging me less than the quoted price! read more

Local plumbers couldn't solve our flooding problem. So I called the plumbing guys, they came out the next day. Their tech Aaron was knowledgeable and professional he fixed my problem quickly and for a reasonable price. I recommend them to everyone! read more

I was buying a house that a home inspector found water in the crawl space of. My agent sent these guys out to get a quote for a sump pump install. This guy said the problem was a leak in a pipe and that he would fix the pipe, and that a sump pump was unnecessary even though seller had agreed to pay for the pump. Decided to take this guys recommendation and close on the house with the pipe repair and no pump. Second day in the new house after a good rain, and my crawl space had a ton of water standing in it. Do not trust this guy. read more

Needed ALL the old plumbing removed and all new installed in a 120 yr old house restoration. Everyone else in the area was MUCH more expensive. Gruff but professional, Bill got the job done under budget and on time. I wouldn't use anyone else, and I recommend them whenever asked for a good plumber while at my local hardware store job. read more
