RT Total Lawn Care is a misnomer as they do a lot more than lawn care. They are a "we'll do…read moreanything" type of business. In my case, it was construction. I am very satisfied with their work and plan to contact them again for my next construction project. My project was to demolish and rebuild the external, entry stairs for my front porch and to demolish a large deck and build a balcony with staircase to replace it. I have attached pictures. The finished product was spot on to what he and I had discussed and was (most importantly) wife approved. Rafael serves as the foreman, and his crew of two performed the job. The project was completed in 4 days (more quickly than planned). They used excellent materials and recycled wood from the previous structures wherever possible and appropriate. I really appreciate his eye for sustainability. His crew was rarely idle and worked continuously without watching their cell phones. His bid was about 2/3s of the next lowest bid. My only criticism was that the job site was not cleaned completely (95% clean) and some tire mark damage to my lawn was not repaired. I discovered some of this after the crew had left. This is no big deal. Rafael is very particular about customer satisfaction and strives to make sure you are happy before final payment is made. If there is a problem, he assures you even after completion that he will return to make it right.

I don't like the way they've pruned the shrubs in our community because they look too formal and unnatural since they obviously use an electric trimmer and round them into balls or into boxy shrubs. I wish our HOA would find someone more worth the money.

I needed to get some weeding, trimming, moving of rocks/pebbles, and mulch (with fabric) done for…read moreboth the front and back yard. I've gotten 3 different estimates and Angeles Landscaping was definitely a fair estimate when compared to the others. We had one give us an estimate of $3,200, one said $1,500, and Angeles asked for $1,800 so we were happy to pay that amount given the faith we had in his work. When Daniel came over, he asked the right questions and thought of things I didn't think about. He asked how far we wanted the mulch to go for the edges, what we wanted trimmed, how high we wanted to mulch to be (we went with 2.5 inches), and he made sure to let us know he wasn't just going to cover things in mulch, but he was going to remove the moss, weeds, and everything before to do it correctly. We got the estimate on Thursday and Daniel and his team (2 other people) were able to come by on Saturday morning. They started at 8am and were finished around 3pm (so around 8 hours of work). When he was finished he even hung around patiently, asked if I had any questions, and was surprised I didn't have any. I was very confident when meeting him that he would do a good job. I didn't feel like I had to micromanage him to do a good job, and I was correct in thinking that. Overall, I definitely recommend Angeles Landscaping for landscaping needs. Their prices were competitive and their scheduling fit well with our plans. As a part of this project, they cleared out a wooded area behind our home and removed items left by some vagrants. Then they revitalized our garden areas by removing some old, tired junipers, and golden cypress. They planted new trees, added a rock border in front of the house and paved the apron next to the house. Everything looks fantastic! We will definitely be using them again in the near future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality work.
