After seeing a chiropractor for over 9 years, one that has helped me so much, it was hard to find a new place after moving to La Quinta. The main Chiropractor, Dr. Jeremy, is excellent. Gonstead is a different style and technique than my last chiropractor but he has helped me. He is very gentle, caring and smart. He looks at your X-rays before treating you which is new to me. Big office, super friendly front staff. Love they provide a gown you can put over your clothes while being treated. Sarah, one of the masseuses is excellent. I like Dr. Ricky he's got a knowledgeable, nurturing, and positive energy. I like that he adjusts harder and deeper then most. I like that they supply gowns and shorts for you to dress into if you aren't dressed appropriately. I also appreciate the dressing room you wait in before entering the adjustment room. I few weeks ago, sent my son to Gonstead, specifically Dr. Eric, for HS athletic clearance and now I'm a patient. For many years, I have been quite loyal to another great chiropractic facility. However, Dr. Eric left such a wonderful first impression on me that I decided to seek him out for a second opinion on my chronic back pain that had worsened over the past couple years. I was impressed with my first visit. The office is set up very similar to medical facility. I had a consultation with Dr. Eric and then was brought to another part of the facility to do some type of nerve/muscle test and xrays. Dr. Eric checked on me periodically and explained the whole process as it was happening. After my xrays, I was brought into a small room... kind of like a personal waiting room. I was given a number to insert into a slot and that prompts Dr. Eric that I was ready to be seen. Once I was in, Dr. Eric went through the results of my xray/tests and explained them to me. As he was adjusting me, he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He also talked to me about several things at I can do at home to help relieve my back pain. Since this first visit, I agreed to be put on a wellness program to help with long term relief of all this pain I've dealt with for years. Don't get me wrong... my previous chiro doc is awesome, I just needed to change my routine and Dr. Eric is the change I needed. :) Everyone here is so friendly and the office runs so efficiently. I'm in and out in enough time to make it back to work on my lunch break. That makes a huge difference for me since I'm always on the go. read more

I had neck, shoulder and arm pain for months. I had seen 4 other chiropractors during that time and all sessions were to no avail. Over time, the pain intensified and when it got unbearable on a Sunday night, I was going to go to the ER to seek help for the excruciating pain, a family friend saw what I was going thru and referred Gonstead group. First thing Monday morning I called when they opened, they scheduled me within the hour, they identified the cause of the pain and made the appropriate adjustments and almost immediately relieved me from the excruciating pain. I called yesterday to come in because I was referred to them by a few people because my baby is breech and I'm having pregnancy pain in my hips. I called and spoke with the lady and asked if they take my insurance and she said yes. I got here and waited 45 minutes for her to tell me they don't take my insurance And I can pay cash. No I want to use my insurance. Why they wouldn't check before hand instead of having a pregnant lady wake up early get her in pain self all the way over here to sit almost an hour to be told they don't take her insurance is rude. Everywhere I call they check my insurance over the phone and see if they take it not instead of having you drive alll the way over there sit and wait and be told nope even though I asked on the phone. Because they just want me to pay 145$ cash. I'm so disappointed and it was preventable. read more

Rude lady in the front office. I gave her my card insurance cards and she immediately told me I would not have double coverage. I tried explaining my coverage and she was cutting me off and not letting me speak. In the last 5 years of having the exact same coverage I have seen several chiropractors ALL of which have accepted my double coverage. She was explaining that in her experience they cover 30$ and that's it! She was very dismissive, arrogant and rude. As a new patient it was a horrible experience! Hear a patient out and don't present as a know it all, who knows, I may be wrong but don't be rude/arrogant about it. We both have differing experiences with my insurance, however, don't impose your experience on me or assume I am wrong and that you know better! read more

I pulled something in my neck/back and could barely move, I went to the emergency room where they basically gave me pain killers and muscle relaxers and told me to suck it up after I waited for 3 hours. So I came here to my first chiropractic experience ever, very skeptical of it all, and could not have left happier! He explained everything to me about my body and my habits and asked lots of questions, which I appreciate, took x-rays (which they never did in the hospital) then adjusted me and *POOF* like magic I left virtually pain free and able to MOVE again! I had very little experience with Chiropractic services and Jeremy came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I have been suffering from terrible head and neck pain for months which resulted in numerous MRI/CT Scans, trips to the ER, meetings with over 10 specialists, Acupuncture and a handful of medications in an effort to relieve and find the cause of this pain. It was some type of medical mystery and I was truly suffering. First off let me begin with the basics.. the Office is conveniently located with plenty of parking. Well appointed inside with plenty of seating and an area for kids to play and an efficient office staff who I have found to be friendly and accommodating always. I had really started to lose hope with any type of resolution but Jeremy was able to show me via xrays where the problem was and what exactly what was happening with my neck and skull that was causing the suffering and pain. It is definitely a process, not an over night cure and I can't say that I love going for adjustments but I have faith in the process and will be continuing treatment in the hopes of finding relief. There are so many Chiropractors out there so if you are unsure of where to go, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I had seen so many Doctors who were dismissive and quick with office visits so it is refreshing to find one who actually has a moral compass. I was a loyal customer until now... I called wanting to get my husband an appointment with any doctor. The lady who answer was nice in the beginning making the appointment but when I told her I needed a appointment at 4. She said because he was a new patient it would take an hour so I needed to scheduled earlier. Due to my husbands work schedule he couldn't do earlier -he works in Palm Springs and this doctor is in la Quinta. She told me I couldn't make a later appointment that I would have to work with their schedule. I understand there's a process how things are done but my husband needs to see a chiropractor asap. (Keep in mind too that I've spend hundreds of dollars here) I'm the customer. My husband is in pain. Why do I have to work with their schedule? I thought doctors were supposed to take care of their patients. So now because they can't work with my schedule I have to find someone else. Which I did they were understanding of his pain and worked with us. Please, a customer doesn't want to hear "YOU need to work with our schedule." I hope you take this as a learning experience. So because I can't "work with their schedule" I'm taking my business elsewhere where they will work with MY schedule, the customer. read more

He sat down with me and showed me on a scan result exactly where my pain was and why it was hurting. I could not lift my right arm without causing major pain in my right shoulder blade.
