I walked into Nazemi Musculoskeletal Center hoping to get help with chronic neck pain. I also had headaches that had been part of my life for years - they as "regular" headaches/migraines and had slowly upgraded themselves to a 24/7 subscription service I absolutely did not sign up for. I was taking all kinds of over the counter and prescription meds for these headaches with little relief. I've been to several chiropractors in my life so I thought I knew what to expect. Enter Dr. Jacques "Jox" Allmand -- chiropractor, healer, and possibly a wizard. On my first visit, I explained my symptoms, and while describing the neck and back pain Doc asked "how about headaches?" Without hesitation I said "all the time, every minute". He finished his assessment and said we'd get me feeling better, and "We can definitely fix those headaches." I remember thinking, "Bold claim, sir." But guess what? I have not had a single headache since my first treatment. Not one. It's been three months. I did go back for a few more treatments for my neck and back pain, as I'd been "stuck" for quite a while. I feel better than I have in years. I will be scheduling regular appointments (tune-up Tuesday!) to keep feeling this good. Dr. Jacques uses a mix of conventional and innovative techniques. He's very efficient but when you tell him about a new pain or aren't feeling quite right at the end of the session he takes the time to investigate. You and your pain will be heard. And then you feel better. And then your pickleball game improves! (I hear this is also true for one's golf game.) Suffered an ACL injury with reconstruction last year. A combination of lack of movement, limping and weight gain was making me feel like I was out of alignment. I was able to get an appt quickly and Dr. Drew is beyond amazing. The time the doctor spends with you is top notch and although they were very busy on the day of my appt, I did not feel rushed. Dr. Drew took the time to get to know me and the issues I was experiencing. The body work Dr. Drew performed released my tight muscles and put me back on the road to proper alignment. After the doctor treatment, I was placed on e-stim and given a quick theragun massage. The office staff are kind, helpful and understanding. The actual medical care is very good and the support staff kind, but seemingly unfamiliar with the insurance process. I reached my annual out of pocket max and yet, the representative insisted on collecting my copay. I confirmed with my insurance company that they would pay the provider directly and relayed that information to Nazemi's office- not once, but twice. Dr. Shannon Jones has improved my quality of life. I have a rare genetic connective tissue disorder, called Ehlers Danlos which makes all my joints out of place all the time. Before seeing Dr. jones I was having a minimum of two flares per month. I haven't had a flare up since I started seeing her in May. I have had more energy and have been able to keep up with my energetic daughter now. I can't thank her enough for helping me with my Ehlers Danlos. First, the office is super professional, and the staff is great, from the welcome smile to the exit. I have been coming here for 10 plus years and absolutely love it! I first started seeing Dr. Navid after a car accident and he helped me out so much since then one of the best chiropractors ever. As someone who has seen many chiropractors over the years (I'm 70+), I am happy to report that Dr. Andrew Harrell is the real deal. At this stage of life, I prefer non-force techniques. Dr. Harrell has so many non-force tools and techniques to relax and align my spine and relax my muscles. He is intuitive and knows where my issues are. Plus he really listens and has great energy!
