I started buying their produce at the Riverside Arts Market. Then I was hooked. The tomatoes are delicious, the carrots are bigger than any carrot I have ever found in the store, the corn is so sweet. Not only is the food good, but it lasts forever. We opted for the biweekly delivery and sem to have more of a problem not using everything they bring us instead of running out of veggies. Support local farmers and really consider becoming a member. I've had some corn here that rivals my beloved and much missed Midwest sweet corn. The candy cane beets are a rare treat. From dill to blueberries to zucchini and yellow squash, it's all been so very good. Prices are reasonable, downright excellent considering the quality, freshness and light eco-footprint. Right now their hours are limited to Saturdays from 8-noon. There's plenty of stuff, but early is better if you're looking for something that's just coming in or on it's way out. I've ordered my first $20 basket for delivery next week. I'll update my review with pictures and impressions after I get it. All the folks working the place are friendly and helpful. They offer gloves and sanitizer at the start of the line to help out in these tricky times. Overall, this is a great spot to check out. You won't find everything you're looking for, but the stuff is fresh and it's a buy-local win.

We were surprised by the number of vendors from local farms, handmade goods, and variety of food vendors. My mini Yelper walked away with fresh tomatoes and matcha, the rest of us snacked on boiled peanuts, and I couldn't resist datil blueberry jam and datil citrus salt. If you don't already know, datil is everywhere in St. Augustine thanks to Minorcan settlers who brought it centuries ago. You'll see datil everything in St Augustine because the peppers thrive in the soil here & love the hot, humid climate. Anyway, come hungry and ready to support local. It's a green market so they also encourage you to bring reusable bags.

Near the exit hot sauce, we bought the medium and had it with our catfish fritters and cheesy grits tonight. I still think it has too much vinegar but hubby loves it. Mushroom vendor right outside the bistro had many types of dried mushrooms and fresh Lion's Head. I got some. There were Beanie Baby and jewelry booths, I think there was soap and secret ingredient moisturizer, custom signs, so not all food. If it weren't so hot we would have stayed longer. When they do have it, there's a great diversity of food and craft items to buy. We usually have lunch at one of the restaurants then walk around the market and buy non-perishables. This past weekend we finally were able to get in! :) And we were glad we did. This hydroponic farm is located in the same parking lot as the St. Johns Swap Meet (see my other review). Plenty of open parking. It's pretty simple... you grab a basket. You get scissors. Sanitize your hands. Go picking. The staff was real friendly, and show you which fruit is best to pick. There are Hundred's (if not more) of strawberry plants. They also have lettuce, tomatoes. peppers and herbs... all growing fresh, ready for you to pick. We had all of our products in a salad that night... and OMG!!! There was nothing left over... it was that good. It is a great time for a date, or bring the kids.

It's been there since 1983 (and in business since 1968). I think we rolled in there in our giant station wagon with the wood grain paneling on a family roadtrip in 1985. (Had our wagon been "metallic pea" instead of burgundy, we would have been the Griswolds) From the name to the merch, this is a classic. Seashells, candy, boiled peanuts, jams and jellies and so much, much more. Lots of retro vibes... and the "only in Florida" feel. I just bought jam this time... but I plan to load up on more when I head back to this area at Christmas time. Prices are good and there's plenty of parking.

That used to be one of my favorite things to read when I was much younger and travelling. I remember driving up and down I-95 seeing this one's signs over and over again. I kept telling myself that I was gonna pull over and visit but it was either too late or I was too tired. This time I had no excuse. The signs for Florida Tropical Fruit Wine had me and I just had to check this place out. Yup, the ultimate Florida tourist trap. From magnets, keychains, and body-shaped mugs to fireworks and of course produce like grapefruit and oranges. They also carried some Disney souvenirs and nuts, honey, Datil pepper products, and jerky. I went for the wine. The staff were very nice and let us sample some of the wines. We picked up 4 bottles! He got the Suppermong Cider (a big fat white grape cider which was made in Georgia) and the Coco Polada (Orange, Pineapple, and Coconut). I got the and I got Orange Blossom Honey wine, and the Key Lime wine. He also got a toasted macaroons too, which he made me try and I didn't like them. I've only tried the Orange Blossom Honey wine so far and it is noice! Not too sweet, very smooth and you can definitely taste the honey. I'm definitely gonna come back. I completely forgot about their boiled peanuts!
