My man loved his hotdog.

This place is so fun! Dani was our server and so sweet! She was amazing and gave such amazing service. The food was fun and cheap. The pinball machines were so cool. We will definitely be back regularly.

This place is a nice , clean and fun authentic hot dog place. The staff is super friendly , clean place and the hot dogs are delicious. They have arcade games and cold beer.. every week they change three of their craft beers. I haven't seen my husband this happy in so long. He barely even siloed his second beer because he was busy playing the pinball machines .. too cute.. support this business it's great!!

We enjoy coming on Tuesdays for the pizza deal. Today we ordered the shotgun shrimp appetizer, a side salad, and the 33 Deluxe small pizza. We also decided to try a strawberry and a blackberry lemonade. After a short wait our shrimp and salad were delivered. Both were good. Our lemonades were delicious! Of course the pizza was delivered after we finished our appetizers. The pizza was great. Our server, EmilyB, was great. Always positive and smiling. We also noticed Japanese baseball was on. Didn't expect that honestly. This restaurant always has an active and vibrant atmosphere. There's seating for all types and television screens everywhere. During football season, this place is packed! The reviews are all over the place. We have always had a good experience here. If you're unsure about trying Bubba's 33, I recommend giving it a try. They have a variety that fits almost all appetites.

My thoughts have been compiling for three days and I think I'm finally ready to share them…read more This was a completely last-minute decision. Like, "we're already in the parking lot" last-minute. My daughter chose Bubba's 33 over Mission BBQ (which, for the record, I also have thoughts about, but that's another review). I'd never been to Bubba's before. Between all the hype around town and the endless debates in the local mom groups, I just never bothered. After this experience, I can confidently say my streak will likely continue. If you're looking for a place to waste time, Bubba's 33 absolutely delivers. Generously. Abundantly. Olympic-level time wasting. My 8-year-old and I waited about 20 minutes to be seated, which wasn't a huge deal. We got settled, our server greeted us, brought our drinks, and then apparently entered the Witness Protection Program. For roughly the next hour, she became more myth than employee. Meanwhile, tables seated after us were getting appetizers, entrees, refills, desserts, probably college degrees and retirement plans while we sat there staring at our drinks wondering if we'd somehow become invisible. Eventually our server reappeared and said, "I'm going to check on your food." Perfect. Except I then watched her walk to the POS system, print something, wander around a partition, stop and chat with another table, visit the table behind me, casually migrate to the hostess stand, disappear for about 30 seconds, reappear, make direct eye contact with me, and then immediately go help yet another table. At that point I wasn't sure if she was checking on my food or participating in a scavenger hunt. For context, our incredibly complex order consisted of: * Chicken tenders and fries. * A bowl of chili. That's it. Not a 12-course tasting menu. Not a custom-built wedding cake. Not an endangered truffle flown in from Europe. Chicken tenders. Fries. Chili. I've seen Amazon deliver furniture faster. The truly disappointing part is that we'd actually helped facilitate a jersey and helmet that ended up on their wall. So technically, I've contributed more to the décor than my server contributed to my dining experience. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. Maybe there was some catastrophe in the kitchen. Maybe my food is still being prepared right now as I type this review. All I know is that my first visit to Bubba's 33 somehow felt longer than most relationships I've been in. One star for the drinks arriving before retirement age. One star for teaching my daughter patience. Everything else remains under investigation.

We had such high hopes for this place. We love touristy themed restaurants like Jungle Cafe and…read morelocal restaurants with a near theatrical level of decor and presentation. But we also want good food and service. We didn't find any of that here. Some great effort and details on the pirate theme, all the way down to the door knobs in the bathrooms. There are fun pirate statues around the dining room, great for selfies. And there are skeletons and much sailing masts and sails hanging from the ceiling. But it ends there, the staff is not really engaged with the theme, no costumes or pirate accidents. Thats ok too, but we felt the staff was just over worked and too few of them. I would give them a 4 for the decor effort. The food. It was just okay, and really expensive. Priced like it was some destination themed restaurant hitting all the marks but it did not. We don't mind paying top dollar for a great meal. But this was lunch and with no alcohol (we don't drink) are bill was almost $90 for lunch. I had ordered the dry rub winds for an app. Anywhere in the world that means a dry rub on a fried or rarely baked wing and no batter. What I was saved was a chicken nugget like you'd buy in. a bag at the grocery store with maybe a tiny bit of chili powder mixed into the batter. There was no dry rub no the nuggets simply were not very good. My wife ordered a bowl of soup and ribs on the side. She liked the ribs and tangy sauce. The chicken soup had peppers in it which she can't eat. The menu said just like Mom used to make, dies your mom put peppers in her chick soup, not table pepper but actual peppers. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. The fries were ok. The waitress asked me how I wanted the meat, from rare to well done. I asked for medium rare, that should have some pink inside and be juicy. I received a well don burger with dried out and tasteless meat. It was served so hot that it melted through the tomato and bread on the bottom. It also came with an onion ring. That was cold limp and dripping with oil. A real disappointment for a $17 dollar burger. Last was the drink, I ordered a diet soda, it tasted like those suicide drinks 8 year old boys make when they take a little of each drink at the soda fountain to be funny and then won't drink it because it was gross.

Here's what we liked for a party of 3. *Immediate seating, and a variety of choices- low top, high top and bar. * Service was good, like honest good. Like she actually enjoyed being there. It was almost weird in a good way. * Decent draft beer list and cocktails. * The pirate vibe / decor was fun. * The hush puppies they brought out and the honey butter. Don't know you could even get these. * Fried pickles were crispy and good. * The loaded fried were different, curvy waves of potatoes and good coverage of toppings. * Daughter loved the two cocktails she had and $ price seemed reasonable. * Lots of tvs if you wanted to watch a game. Here's what could of been better: * Beer should be ice cold this was coolish. * The pretzel and beer was subpar, wouldn't recommend. * The boneless chicken reminded me of a basic Tyson chicken bite. Not good. Overall a nice hangout kind of place. I would checkout more of their menu and events.

Waitress was very sweet and running her tush off. We got there about 6pm on a Friday night and before we left it was hopping. The food was very good. I had Southwestern Eggrolls and will not have to drive to Jville anymore when I get that craving. The only difference was it came with a chipotle ranch instead of an avocado ranch. My friend had a salad (good size) along with the the Dirty Chicken. She felt like it had a "kick" to it but I tried a bit and didn't think so. She could not eat it all. Nice size serving. She also shared the mozzarella sticks. I didn't try them but she said they were good. They looked like the frozen kind out of the box, so not for me. My other friend had the smash burger that we thought were sliders, but are not. It is a hamburger with two 3oz patties with the fixins. My friend enjoyed it and I believe it came with fries. She also tried the Zucchini fries and ate them all. I personally was not crazy about them but to each his own. A two piece band was playing and they were very good. Oh, I found out just before we left that they carry Bud Zero. Nice surprise. Sitting outdoors was perfect. They put a little fly spinner on your table and no bugs. The bathroom was very clean. Since this appears to be the first post for them I will have to post pictures later. Sept. 20, 2024

We went here to shoot pool, they had apparently remodeled and purchased the store next door and expanded. The place looked brighter and cleaner. New looking tables, the bartender Susie was very friendly and helpful. The strike against them was their food or at least their chicken wings. They had these big drum sticks, no flats and they were over cooked and down right just plain BAD. Told the bartender she apologized and said would fix some more but they didn't have any flats again it would be the big drumsticks. We declined and asked to swap for a sandwich. The bartender apparently isn't given the permission to make such an easy decision to keep customers satisify. She had to call the manager and then we waited, and waited over an hour an a half. I finally asked for a credit to my bill, again the bartender had to call the manager. Once the manager arrived she was very nice and apologized for the issues. She credited the food. She asked for us to comeback for a better experience. I will try again and hopefully will give a better report on my next visit. Again the people were nice and the place looked good, it was just the food we ordered and the wait to resolve the issue.
