Always the best service with GolfTroop! We stayed at one of their houses.. 'Mesa Vacation Home -Saguaro Sunset' on the weekend of May 13-15 2022. It was a beautiful home with a lot of amenities and room for our group of 5 guys. Pool table, hot tub, pool, BBQ, and even a telescope to use on the roof top terrace for some star gazing. It's close to the 3 courses we played this trip. About 25 min from Wi-Ko-Pa & Eagle Mountain and only 10 min from Longbow. The courses were all great. We all thought Wi-Ko-Pa was the stand out of the 3 courses. GolfTroop is my go-to with my golf vacations in Arizona! They always come through. read more

Well, let's start out by saying the golf was exceptional, however the communication with your company was horrible. On July 10, 2026 and July 11, 2026, we confirmed our trip to Alabama to play some exciting new golf courses. We were issued an itinerary that stated we were going to stay in a Birmingham Private Vacation Home located at 1606 Cullom, Street in Birmingham, Alabama. As the trip got closer, we never received any correspondence from Golftroop about the process to get into the house. So we waited, and waited, then I started emailing on September 18, 2026, and again on September 19, 2026 and finally I heard from someone when I was standing in front of a crack house in Birmingham, Alabama which was located at 1606 Cullom Street in Birmingham, Alabama. The exact address that was printed on our itinerary - Dated July 11, 2026. To call this home a vacation home is absolutely ridiculous. This is a broken-down old home in the hood. Maybe the owners have dreams of renovating it, but looking in the window it was nothing but trash. So, after seeing this by blood was boiling and finally I here from someone providing me a new address, that evidently was printed on an updated itinerary that was sent, but there was no mention of the change of the "vacation home" on any email. So off we went to find the new home. We located the new "vacation home" and again, this was located in an old neighborhood that maybe some folks are trying to renovating the homes, but this from the outside was another crack house. Trash everywhere, garbage cans in the front and back overflowing, landscaping that has not been tended to in months. The gas grill was filthy and had not been cleaned in some time. The back porch was covered with trash and leaves which we had to clean it off to be able to use it. Now I will give credit where it is due, the inside of the house was pleasantly updated, but there is no way I would call this a vacation home nor would I place my clients in anything close to this place. Evidently you and your company do not actually review the houses you are placing your clients in. You and your company dropped the ball on this trip. We spent good money for this trip and we all feel you let us down. Steve Sullivan read more

We used GolfTroop on a recent trip to Denver and we have no complaints. The price was right, and we were able to book both a house and tee times through GolfTroop. Our contact was very responsive with our questions, and when we wanted him to add extra tee times, and change up courses he was really helpful in getting us all setup. read more

We have 8 golfers going to Myrtle beach to help one of our friends while he was getting acclimated to his wife's passing. In an unusual case the trip is being canceled by us due to unforeseen snow event. The reservation for Tuesday was cancelled, and we want to cancel/delay the reservation. Our representative did not even offer assistance in recovering our funds other than stating our rental was non-refundable. We are unable to travel there - wtf read more

We, four golfers, used Golf Troop services to book a SoCal golf trip to Torrey Pines and Aviara Golf Club. We were booked to Torrey Pines North twice. We canceled the second round because the condition of the course was unplayable as Torrey North had initiated its over-seeding process. Golf Troop did not forewarn us that there would be no grass whatsoever on tee boxes, variegated fairways and large equipment everywhere including in line of sight between tees and greens. Further, while the booked home was ideal accommodations, the hot tub and pool were disgusting and unhealthy. It took more than 48-hours after numerous phone calls and texts to remedy these issues. We will not use Golf Troop again for future golf trips. read more

This place takes all the hassle out of a golf trip to Scottsdale AZ. We stayed in the new condos in old town and one of the coolest things was talking with other guest about the courses they played. They also have a plate full of breakfast bars, danishes and oatmeal which was a very nice touch for saving us when we were running late to an early tee time. As for the golf; all the courses we played (Troon North, Verde & We Ko Pa) treated us really well. We felt like GT must have a great relationship with the courses because we definitely were getting treated with extra care. We will be using these guys for future trips. read more

Vinnie was my sales rep and did a fantastic job providing great customer service. He answered everything I needed and helped me figure out the best way to deal with a group of 5-8 dudes who just couldn't commit. The check in at the house was easy, and it was just as nice as advertised. Course check in was a snap and hassle free. The courses we played were top notch. Highly recommend golf troop! read more

Without a doubt the best experience working with a vacation planner. I worked with Jimmy and he made the entire process extremely easy. He explained how the whole process worked from the very beginning and followed through. Answered all my questions, made recommendations based on player skillset, even made a few last minute changes without any issues. Call Jimmy... read more

We booked a 4 day golf trip with supposed "unlimited" golf for 2 of the days. The "unlimited" golf was based on availability and we were not allowed to book until the day of. As it turns out we were only able to book 14 holes for a 2nd round almost 3 hours after we finished the first on Monday. On Tuesday we needed to pay for a 2nd round at a course not affiliated with our package. Seems like bait and switch compared to other golf trip companies. read more

Everything went as planned. Very smooth and efficient operation. I'll gladly use this service again. Had a wonderful golf experience. Thanks Golf Troop. read more

Very poor accommodations for the money... misleading pictures made us think everything was contained in a small easily accessible area. It was not, and we stayed in what amounted to a small, poorly maintained 2br apartment, which was difficult to get to. No scenery or views of anything other than the same apartments. Golf arrangements were good, but very expensive considering the price of the package. read more

The best company I have ever used. Vinnie was very professional and the courses were excellent. Will use them again.

We just got back form a 4 day 5 round trip and all four of us cannot wait to go back. Jimmy Rood put together a great package that worked out very well with our schedule. We were able to play a great course when we landed and another very nice course near the airport when we had to leave. In between we played 3 picturesque courses up in Fountain Hills with spectacular views of the valley below. The condo that we were set up in had everything 4 golfers needed with plenty of room to relax, although once we arrived at the complex it was a little difficult to find in the dark. I highly recommend Jimmy and Golf troop to plan your play and stay. We are already getting everything ready to start planning our next trip. JOE C. read more

Brent with GolfTroop was there to help us every step of the way. We got set up in a great hotel and played top notch golf courses. They can help find the right golf trip for every different level of player and budget. I would recommend them to anyone, and will continue to use them myself. read more

Very happy a group of 8 used Golftroop for our Phoenix 4 day golf trip. I thought I could do it all myself and probably save some money. I was very wrong. Brent was excellent listening to what I wanted and couldn't have picked better courses. There was also absolutely no pressure, which was nice. In addition, I learned how good they are when one of our members couldn't make it due to illness. I was sure we were out the funds, but we were refunded from 2 of the 3 courses. We gave less than 24 hours for the first course so I totally understood having to pay that fee. Also, we received a rate almost $300 less for a 15 passanger van than I could get for myself from a major rental company, despite the fact I am a points member with that company. Please inquire about a vehicle as well when booking with them. From the service we received, I would no hesitate to book with them again, and would try to book accomodation with them next time as well. We really couldn't have been happier, and it was nice to see how honest and friendly this company is. Please do not hesitate to use them. read more

Brent was great in getting my son and I a great weekend of golf and lodging in the Palm Springs resort of LaQuinta. Played on 4 courses there and enjoyed the weekend tremendously... read more

We just finished our week of golf through Golf Troop. Brent did a great job not only getting us competitive pricing but also providing options and suggestions for other golf courses to play. I will definitely use Golf Troop in the future. read more

Villas at TPC Scottsdale - GolfTroop fails to tell you that this place is an apartment complex that is filled with families that need to get their kids to bed. It is not a hotel or resort. Parking is difficult if you can't get your van into the garage. We had the police called on us one night because the apartment complex has noise rules. If you're going to stay here, don't expect to act or party like you would at an actual resort or hotel. There's no one to take orders, serve you, or clean up after you out by the pool. The nearest bar/restaurant you can walk to is at the TPC but closes early. Otherwise, there is nothing closer than about two miles away - and you can't walk to them because they are across a canal, a busy road, and in an industrial park. In fact, it's not even called the "Villas" so Uber got lost. It's fine if you just want a quiet place to sleep, but if you have a bad back or bad knees: It's a steep 2nd-floor walk-up to the apartment, too. If you use GolfTroop to plan your trip, you should stick to the actual hotels and resorts, not the apartments or condos that they are "renting" and sub-leasing to us! Is that even legal? read more
