I love this place! The best mini golf in Az! The only thing is they need to update the kitchen equipment and the inside as in the walls, drawers etc but they do have great dope whip and yummy cherry icees! Though they hard churros haha

$25 for 3 fun activities. Mini golf was so great. Fun opportunities for hole in one's. The bumper cars was a blast. The go karts was electric. Such a great night with friends and family.

This place looks like a water park that gave up on life. All those bright, twisty slides and not a single person in sight--it's like the fun packed its bags and left years ago. The empty pools just make it worse, giving off strong "abandoned after a bad season" energy instead of anything remotely exciting. The whole setup feels eerie rather than inviting. You've got these massive slides towering over...nothing. No water, no crowds, no noise--just a sad, dry wasteland that probably echoes if you clap. Even the decorations in the foreground feel like they're trying way too hard to make up for how lifeless everything else is. Honestly, instead of a water park, it looks more like a set for a post-apocalyptic movie where the fun died first.

We decided to spend my oldest and youngest kids birthday at Sunsplash on 6/22. We rented 2 Cabanas which cost $241, purchased 12 tickets; around $400 and spent about $300 on food. So overall, about $941. Welp, you're supposed to get VIP entrance (skip the lines) which is next to the VIP parking with purchase of a cabana. We approached the employee, excited at the VIP entrance. She refused to let us through. We had proof of receipt, even showed her the Sunsplash website, had everyone's wristbands (tickets) and she said no, you have to go around to Golfland and enter through there. So, we walked, waited in line for 30 minutes. When we got to the front of the line, the employee said, "why did you guys wait in this line? You have Cabanas, you should've gone through VIP entrance." Told him the employee at that entrance refused to let us through. He said he was the manager and she should know better. Welp, looks like no one was on the same page. So let that be, we got in and wasn't going to let that ruin our experience. 1 of the 2 Cabanas had curtains that were ripped off, table was sticky, the storage bin had a tub of water with empty water bottles, trash, empty bags of chips and candy wrappers. Gross. So I took all the trash out and asked an employee if they can grab the bin. They eventually sent someone over to wipe the table down. Requested our 2 buckets of ice with 6 water bottles as stated on the site. That came about an hour later. I think I do a great job at being respectful, not yelling or demeaning employees. That's not going to get me anywhere. I've also worked customer service, I worked harder for those guests who were empathetic and kind. I don't understand why people apply for these roles if they don't want to work customer service? Most of these employees were teens or young adults. I think management needs to do a better job at training, making sure the employees at the gates / entrances actually understand their role and exceptions that apply to guests who pay for Cabanas as well as CLEANING them. Maybe boosting employee morale? Idk. Drastic changes need to be made. Overall, terrible experience.

This was one of my old hangout spots as a kid. We either got a big group of people together during the summers to hit the water slides or it was an option for a high school date night on the miniature golf course. After all these years, I still find myself visiting here on occasions. The entrance is shaped like a castle and has an old-school arcade and snack bar inside of it. Hanging out at the arcades was one of my favorite activities as a kid. Outside are three different 18-hole miniature golf courses. For as old as this place is, Golfland has done a decent job of maintaining these golf courses. We came over here recently and had fun just being goofy and acting like kids again while playing a round of golf. Sunsplash is the water park side of Goldland and is only open during the summer. It is the perfect place to go to escape our crazy hot summers. They have all types of slides, a lazy river, a wavepool and stuff for toddlers. Golfland Sunplash also has a Fastcar Raceway and Bumper Cars and Boats. Golfland Sunsplash is located in Mesa near the 60. I'm not going to lie, it is in a sketchy part of Mesa. This park was one of the filming locations for 1989 movie "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure". If you come during the holidays, they transform the golf courses into a Halloween or Christmas themed course with all sorts of decorations and lights.

A woman today was denied access with her Celiac Safe Food for the day. Sunsplash manager stated they do not allow Outside food even with a Severe allergy to the Gluten (Celiac Disease). As an establishment the American Disabilities Act should be used moving forward to allow people that cannot eat the food inside to bring their own food so they can be well nourished while enjoying time with friends or family. This is something I believe should be looked into immediately and action should be taken on the employees. I would like the manager on site and these people in this picture to be looked into as they advised a customer they could not bring their safe food inside. I will be advising all family and friends to not go here until this is changed.

Ticket, food Line wait inside is ridiculous. Please get more than one person at counter to help ride tickets, prizes, food etc.

What are the hours for the water park?

https://www.golfland.com/mesa/

So do they have 3 seater tubes? Can 3 people use a 4 seater or do they have to ride separately (2 seater & 1 seater)?

unfortunately they do not have three seater tubes. you are more than welcome to have three people on a four seater tube, no need for separation. they just need to be under the weight limit on the ride

Do lockers have a code or a key? Do I pay for all day use to be able to open and close ( to buy lunch) or do I pay each time I open it?

They have both key and codes! And it's an all day rental so you can go in and out for the electronic ones!

Are the water park features open for those with mobility disabilities? There's no info on the website which is extremely disappointing.

There are those chairs that can accommodate those in wheelchairs or other mobility disabilities! There are ramps for entrance into the park and they can work with you best they can depending on the disability to use other attractions!

Do they take Apple Pay?

Yes, typically they take apple pay. You will need to provide the 4 digit device account number which is in in information tab (...). Thanks for asking.

Can you bring a t-shirt and shorts or does it have to be a swimsuit?

Either is fine as long as there are no metal rivets or zippers on your clothing.

Are the lockers inside or outside? Just wondering because I'm concerned about leaving my phone in the heat.

Outside. Wrap it in a towel or shirt and it should be fine :)

Do I need to bring my own towel?

Yes, you will need to bring your own towel.

Do they have any lockers to place valuables to keep dry and safe while visiting the slides? Or do you have to leave it in the car? We're considering taking the kids for the first time and don't know what to expect.…

Lockers are available from $8 to $14 for an all day rental depending on type and size. You are allowed to exit and re-enter the park if you choose to leave larger items in your car.

So I can only relate my experience here and let it stand for itself. This is a former junior high, turned into a recreation complex. The pool itself is really three pools--one is the kiddie section with a sloped beach entrance and a tower with buckets that fill up and dump out water sporadically. There's a small slide for the wee ones, in the shape of a frog. The kidlets slide down the frog's tongue and giggle and squeal. Then at the other end is the diving area. Two lower diving boards and a high dive. Not so high, but high enough that every so often a kid will get up there and wuss out. I've done it once as a 10-year-old, so no judgments from me. The other pool is the landing area for the waterslides. Two small ones--big enough that there are height restrictions, but not like a waterpark kind of slide. Just enough that the younguns will have something to break up the simple pool bobbing. There are a few lap swim lanes, and there are bleachers on the north side with shade, so I'm guessing there are probably swim meets here? Then you've got one big pavilion with cement and a large umbrella with grass. Pull your chairs in and hunker down. There's also a small area with tables for your snack needs. The facility is nice. The pool is nice. The bathrooms/changing rooms area little nappy--but that's their design. Concrete floor and a trough of dribbles and drips under the urinals. Other than that, the lobby serves its purpose and is indeed air conditioned.

I visited Great Wolf Lodge on 05/04/2026 from 11am to 7:30pm with my whole class for a fun field…read moretrip, and it ended up being such a great day. I hadn't been to this specific location before, but I've gone to the Garden Grove one many times. One thing I noticed right away was that this one felt a bit smaller--just a couple fewer slides and a little less space overall--but it didn't take away from the experience. We arrived around 10:45am, and my teacher grabbed our wristbands in about five minutes, which was awesome, especially since it seemed kind of busy. By 11, we had our stuff set down and headed into the indoor water park. The first thing I did was the white group raft slide (fits about 2-5 people), and it was such a fun way to kick off the day. Of course, I had to try the red group raft next too. After that, my friends and I spent a couple hours going between the wave pool and the lazy river, which never got old. By 1pm, we were ready for lunch. I brought my own food, but I couldn't resist getting dessert after--a double scoop of ice cream from the creamery (cookie dough and mint chip). It was honestly amazing and easily one of the best resort ice creams I've had. After lunch, we went back to the slides and lazy river again. Luckily, my mom had signed the permission slip for me to stay an extra six hours--best decision ever. Around 3:30pm, I started exploring more on my own and tried the solo slides. Just like the group ones, there were red and white versions, but flipped in terms of intensity. The white one was definitely more fun, and I loved the small drop right before the end. My absolute favorite, though, was the red group slide. It starts like a normal twisty slide, then slows down before dropping you a few feet and swinging you side to side--it had all of us laughing nonstop, especially when my friend accidentally bounced up in the air. Around 6:15pm, we grabbed dinner. I got two slices of pepperoni pizza, a Pepsi, and a cookie. The pizza was actually better than I expected, and the cookie--an Otis Spunkmeyer--was so good. Definitely something I'd get again. After eating, I relaxed in the hot tub around 6:45pm. It wasn't too hot, which I actually liked because super hot water can make me dizzy. We left at 7:30pm, and honestly, I was surprised how fast the day flew by. I thought I might get bored after a few hours, but I stayed entertained the entire time. I can definitely see myself coming back here with my family soon. Great Wolf Lodge is AWESOME!

The biggest issue for us was the constant extra charges. Not only was there a $100 deposit required…read moreper night, but we also had to pay separately for parking. By the end of our stay, we had well over $100 in taxes and additional fees alone, including taxes on parking and amusements. It felt like absolutely everything came with an extra price tag, despite already paying premium resort prices. Unfortunately, the experience itself didn't justify the cost. Two attractions at the waterpark were shut down for most of the second day of our stay, which was disappointing considering how expensive everything already was. We also witnessed several kids getting injured in the wave pool area, which raised serious concerns about safety and supervision. In addition, many of the lifeguards seemed far more focused on chatting with each other about personal matters than paying close attention to ride cycles and guest safety. Lifeguards are there to protect guests, remain alert, and operate rides safely -- not socialize while attractions are running. Another issue was the lack of rule enforcement throughout the waterpark. We repeatedly saw both adults and children running in areas where running clearly shouldn't be allowed, yet staff rarely stepped in. Attractions like the lazy river also became unenjoyable because so many kids were swimming through it instead of using tubes and following the intended flow of the attraction. It made the experience feel chaotic rather than relaxing. We also chose not to eat at the resort after reading numerous Yelp, Google, and other reviews mentioning the high food prices and lack of healthy, filling, and sustaining meal options. Considering how expensive the resort already was, it was disappointing to feel like dining onsite would just add even more unnecessary costs for mediocre food choices. On top of that, we were woken up at 4 a.m. the first night by what sounded like a loudspeaker blasting tones, and then on checkout day there was a fire drill at 9 a.m., so we couldn't even enjoy the full checkout time until 11 a.m. We did have some fun, but overall the value just wasn't there for us. Honestly, I'd rather spend the money at Disney, where I feel like you get much more for the price. Parking and several of the attractions should absolutely be included at these rates. Sadly, we won't be returning.

(Front desk would need to assist, and they weren't easily available) seems like a waste of a service. Secondly, I found that the sheets on the bed are all flat- (they don't use fitted sheets- and it was troublesome as they didn't stay covering the mattress the whole night.
