I came in on a Saturday afternoon for the first time just to check the place out. I had known about…read morethis shop for years but only now did I start to play golf. I was greeted immediately and the staff helped me find what I was looking for. I was super intrigued by the swing analyzer computer they have in the back (with space for two players at a time) and the gentleman kindly gave me his time and allowed me to take a couple swings since I said I was new to golf. He was able to give me some pointers which improved my swing immediately. I didn't get to run the numbers on the computer because I'm just starting out and my swing isn't consistent enough to truly analyze. But just being able to try it and get some pointers made my day. The shop isn't very large, not a massive place like Golf Town, but it has all that a player would need even down to socks! Their website doesn't look like much but the shop is worth checking out if you're in the area like I was. A great alternative to a big box store. 4.5 stars

However the customer service has always been friendly and welcoming. My latest visit I had to exchange the Osaka Nike GP Challenge 1 shoes because they fit narrow. They were able to put the half size up for me and I was able to try them on. They were still narrow so the persona at the time helped me with selecting a different light tennis shoe. The prices are reflective of the sport. In other words tennis is not cheap so why would I expect equipment, clothings etc. to be? They are on the pricer side just in the sense I have never been in the store when a sale was happening. That's all I'll say to that. Overall great experience and I will be stopping by again on my own terms.

Disappointed with selection. But seems this store has some gun varieties at least. Would not recommend buying bows or accessories for archery here. Very limited selection.

(before Yelp) this January when I was on my winter boot quest. All the cool kids were sporting Sorels and I wanted a pair too. But I wasn't cool enough to know to buy in the fall, before there was actually snow on the ground. The usual places (Get Outside, Sporting Life) were completely out of my size in the style I wanted (which, if you are wondering, is not the funky pink and black houndstooth with neon laces - again, I'm not that cool). Circle Shoes seems to be a family-owned shop and sort of no-frills especially compared to the rest of the boutique-y places you find along this end of Yonge. They had ample selection of styles and sizes and the proprietor knew her stuff and brought me a few choices in similar styles in my size quickly and without the requisite eye-roll/trudge down to the stockroom I encountered at other places. They keep their stock in the back of the store. They carry lots of brand names including Uggs and Birkenstocks. Worth the trip uptown!
