DOCTOR MURRAY SAVED OUR JULIUS!!! Our 8 years old…read morechihuahua/jack Russel was loosing the function of his back legs and we were freaking out. After the usual ER visit we knew we had to see a Neurologist. After a couple of visit in the usual mercenary places in Southern California were the doc don't care, a nurse suggested to contact DR Murray. Within an our she called us back and we made an appointment for the next day as the situation was getting worse by the ours. At the appointment the doctor suggested the MRI to see what was going on (while other doctor dismissed the situation and said to wait a bit longer!!!). The MRI showed a herniated disc completely out of the spine and the only hope was surgery. EVEN if the doctor was really busy that day she endured a 3 HOURS surgery and removed the offending disk that was causing an incredible amount of pain and slowly paralyzing his back legs. Well to make the story short our bellowed Julius is at home now recovering. The incision surgery looks great and healing. The most important part is that Julius is walking pain free! 2 week so far 6 more to go for a complete rehab recovery. We cannot thanks enough doctor Murray for everything!!! The time spent consulting, the high tech place for the surgery, her amazing supporting team, and most important the love and compassion for Julius. I'm almost getting to this point with PCV however, pricing seems to creep a bit. It's generally pretty easy to get an appointment. I generally have one with a tech. The male tech with the beard:mustache I believe is super friendly and nice. Seems very caring with the pets. Front desk staff overall is also very nice. Parking can be a little wonky right out directly in front of the business but there's some spots away that you can just walk within 30 seconds. Overall seems clean and sanitized in general.

My dog had significant inflammation in multiple areas of his paw, including between the toes. However, the veterinarian did not examine the underside of his foot or the interdigital webbing, which is where a large portion of the problem was visible. Instead, I was immediately encouraged to proceed with a needle aspirate and cell analysis quoted at approximately $600-$700. I was uncomfortable moving forward with that without first addressing the obvious inflammation and possible infection. I was also quoted additional fees (around $65) to clean a single wound on one toe, while the rest of the paw condition was not discussed or treated. I asked for oral antibiotics and was told no he did not need them, I was prescribed one ointment called Anamax $35, even after I expressly asked for oral antibiotics she said no he did not need them, (the first thing the other hospital i.e. the second vet said, "we need to get him on oral antibiotics for six weeks as well as steroids", we started that protocol and within one day, I've seen huge improvements.) more in this,. After leaving Sendero, My dog was in so much pain, I sought care elsewhere. The second veterinarian examined the entire paw, including between the toes, and treated him with appropriate medications as mentioned above ( oral antibiotics and oral anti-inflammatory medications ). He has already shown noticeable improvement. I paid about $110 for this visit at Sendero and did not feel that my dog received a thorough evaluation or appropriate initial care. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning or recommending this clinic.
