We had a pretty good meal here - stuffed zucchini flowers, scampi, arancini and a decent pair of pizzas. We had the mushroom pizza with truffle oil and the one with chilli and prawn (and I think maybe pesto?). Half the table loved one pizza better, half liked the other. Both were good.
Our waiter was really sweet and friendly, but no one checked on us again after our meal was served, so I didn't get another glass of wine since the staff were too hard to flag down. And the desserts were pretty lacklustre. One friend got the mini doughnut thingies and they were tasteless and the rest of us got the affogato, which didn't have the right proportion of ice cream to the coffee and port.
Over all, we had a pretty decent meal, but I would skip the desserts. Their bottle blonde hostess needs to learn how to talk to patrons too - she's flat out rude. We would have up and left after being seated if our waiter wasn't right there and immediately super warm and friendly. read more
