We called nearly 15 companies that have wheelchair accessibility vehicle's and they were outrages with their prices! How do people on a fixed income, born with disabilities or develop disabilities afford this type of transportation?! It's not possible. It's almost like, the worlds punishing you for being born different. It's not right and it's not fair. My family has used a government funded service that makes things easier financially but they aren't reliable. In fact, they're terrible. I'm super happy we found Jason and his company. He was super quick in responding. The prices for his company are more manageable then any of the rest. Not only are they manageable but he's RELIABLE! We don't have to worry about calling to double check pickups or drop offs. We don't deal with rude staff AND We don't have to stress out about a PLAN B, if our transportation cancels. First, I received a phone call in advance to verify all of the details and reassure us. And they offered to take me in the same vehicle as my dad so I did not have to follow them in a car. The next day, the driver, Michael, arrived a little early. He greeted my dad and my dad said "hi, Michael!". Meaning that my father felt right at home, right away. Michael took care of every safety detail, kept my dad and I informed about the process, made certain that the correct medical papers went with us, and told me where to meet him afterward. He gave me a card to hand to the medical staff so they could arrange for our transport back with Michael. Everything was taken care of on our behalf! After the medical visit, Michael returned for us within about 10 minutes! And then went through all of the same steps to get my dad safely and comfortably back to his facility.
