This description fits most of the "American Chinese" grub joints in the area. None are great, but some really blow, and I don't mean in the good Las Vegas way. Can anyone make Hot n Sour soup that is consistent, that's HOT, that isn't watered down close to closing time making it taste even more like sweetish non-descriptive gerbil piss?! The now-defunct Vietnamese PHO joint on Rt 1 in Rehomo (same strip mall as the over-priced, over-rated, over-IT Rosenfeld's Deli - Oy vey!), was the exception. Fantastic, genuine, ABOVE-PAR cuisine. While they were priced a bit higher than most pho joints, they were the ONLY pho joint here AND one look & taste at their cuts of meat told you, you were getting what you paid for..... super premium product at a premium price. Sorry that they're gone. But hey we still have Wu & Hunan, right! Oh joy. ‍

The chicken with broccoli was white meat but was pounded and tenderized with something so the texture was awful. The fried rice is yellow, which is the Shrinkflation version, as it is made with a yellow rice mix without much, if any, soy sauce (costs money to use and it is not fried.) We no longer order the fried rice if we get the yellow version as it has no flavor and we prefer the traditional soy sauce brown fried rice version. I can buy bags of yellow rice at the grocery store if I want that but it is not "fried rice."

I struggled with this so badly that I had a bite and put the whole thing in the trash. 0/10 Same with the drunken noodles... The photos look so good online but they were overcooked, bland & looked like the veggies were cooked from frozen packets. 0/10 The wonton soup water chicken water (not broth), the wontons were ready to dissolve before I could eat them, and this dish also lacked any flavor at All. If I could give this less than zero I would. -2/10 Even my husband who will eat anything hated the mango sticky rice which is so easy to get right at a Thai place. 1/10 since he ate it and not me This place was a big strike out.
