My go to order is one of two things - either catfish nuggets or whole wings. I also opt for lemon pepper seasoning on them. Both come with fries, 2 pieces of wheat bread and a drink. Guess what! The service is always good and pretty fast. They also participate with multiple delivery service companies (DoorDash, etc.). The lobby has a few table and chairs for customers, however, I have never seen one customer dining in. There is a mounted TV playing and sometimes music. My rib tips were tough and nasty. They were smoked as well and I definitely wasn't expecting that, I requested sauce on the side but didn't get that. The Mac and cheese was mushy and watery. The greens were decent. My son drove an hr away to meet me and we were both left disappointed.

You get cousin/untie vibes from her and once she knows you, she is definitely going to make you feel at home and kid and joke with you as her attitude is radiant. Even her mother was there once and we laughed about her daughter and her great personality. Now, for the food. I am a half slab kind of dude. Vicky's is a no fuss, rib joint. they don't have 77 menu items but the meat is delicious. I wish they had a different potato besides fries because the fries when wrapped turn to mush in a way. I also think they should make their sides from scratch because they sort of taste like they're from a can or a Gordon's. That aside, if you are willing to make your own sides and just want a good rib, theirs are good. I like it here

Side Chic's blows them out of the water along with every other spot in Detroit/Dearborn (Savvy Sliders, Checkers, KFC, Chic Fil A, Chick N Kingz etc.) The breading on the tenders is very, very flavorful. They also put the perfect amount of breading on each tender. I absolutely hate overbreaded tenders where it feels like you're chewing through multiple layers till you hit chicken. Side Chic's avoids this completely by having a nice layer of breading that adds flavor and doesn't distract from the chicken. The chicken itself is hot, juicy and well textured. This is not rubbery, dry chicken. The only other way I can describe it is it just tastes fresh. I was thoroughly impressed. Side Chic's is a carry out spot that's open very, very late (which is awesome). Everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant and helpful. Also, even though the chicken is fresh and made to order, your food comes out in a fairly quick manner. I really can't say enough good things about Side Chic's. I came recently and the fries, fried pickles, and sauces were all great! The chicken was still okay, but not seasoned the same way as before. Still moist and tender tho. There's was oil all over the boxes though and staining like a seventh (or 14-18%) of the paper bag. That's a lot. The box was dripping oil.
