I just moved from CA to the Topock AZ (Golden Shores Community). I have a lot of Family in the surrounding area. While still in CA & preparing to move I questioned everyone on the best internet & cable I should use. Everyone I spoke to told me that I would have problems with every cable co. because I'm moving to such a remote area. I researched on my own & decided to choose Golden Valley Cable. I have only been here a few months but I have to say that I'm totally pleased with this Co. I have not had a single issue with my internet. I will say in CA I had major issues resulting in changing to 3 different cable companies within a 6 mo. period. Yesterday I had trouble connecting a device to my internet & The GVC office Girl was so polite & ready to send someone same day. I figured out it was me ! I corrected the problem but still had a question regarding a message I didn't understand on my phone. She still had her Boss call me when he came into the office & he took care of my concerns perfectly. The customer care with this company from day 1 has been superb. With nothing but negative comments regarding cable companies in this area I wanted to give positive review to GVC that I honestly believe they deserve. Customer service is really bad. I kept having billing issues where I wanted the payment to come out of my card every month but the company wouldn't do it and I would end up with 3 months of bills to pay, when I thought they already had been. I called and got the owners wife and was told by her my opinion didn't matter and anything I had to say wouldn't effect their company, she then challenged me to try and give any bad reports and I would see how it would end up. Very crazy and now that frontier has Internet speeds 6 times faster for the same price, I switched to them no problem and would rather deal with a company template of customer service then the owners wife going off on me for their mistake. Recently moved to this area and needed internet ASAP. Even though they were backed up on installs I explained my urgency and had it connected within a few days. The customer service over the phone is always friendly and if they come out for technical support they made me feel like I had called a friend over to help me. So much better than these larger companies, because the treatment they gave me is always very personable. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, my internet was extremely slowed less than .50 mbs a second when I went in they literally refused to believe that it was slow. Because the guy "knew so many people who has fast internet" please for the love of god this place needs to shut down extremely slow internet and rude uneducated customer service representatives read more
