We had lost our key for our RV Coachman Trailer and I called Vic at Advanced Lock and he was able to come out to open the trailer the next day, but for some reason he didn't bring his mobile unit to make a new key for us. He did mention that he was in our neighborhood fairly often because he owned a lot here in Golden Valley where we are. He claimed that he had thought that we had a key inside, but our only key was lost and we were charged $60 for the trip to just open it. Later when I called him to find out when he could come make a key, I could not get a straight answer. He said that he may not be able to provide us with the key we needed saying he might not have the needed key template, that bringing his mobile unit out on the dirt road was not good for him to do, etc. Since I couldn't really pin him down, I hung up and am trying for another locksmith who can help up. My husband feels like we've been cheated. I don't really know what to think because I clearly let him know that I had the lost the key. I had thought that his original quote over the phone, when I set up the service, of $75 covered trip, opening up the RV and new key. read more
