Everyone was nice and friendly that I met. I even met the band and the lead singer Cooper Greer. He is from Greenville, NC and you can find him on Facebook. Looks like he mostly plays at music venues and bars across Eastern North Carolina according to his Facebook page schedule. On Scene: I never been here before. I couldn't find it on Yelp. So, I added the listing to Yelp. Once, I arrived, I pulled into the parking lot and coincidentally parked close to Cooper Greers pickup truck. I asked him about the place and what kinds of music he plays. Anyway, he talked me into coming inside and I was very glad I did. He put on a great show. He indeed has a great band. I would definitely go see him again. They also have a bunch of TVs in here including some big ones that had live sports ball games on them at the time of visiting. You can also dance to the country music that the band is playing. I saw a lot of people country line dancing and having a good time. Furthermore, they have a pool table ( see photos). I also saw another unknown game table. I saw at least one video game machine in here. They have a full bar in here where you can beer, wine or mixed cocktails. I even got a margarita.

The museum was easy to find and there is a large free parking lot. Admission is free to view the museum exhibits although there is a charge to view the special exhibits. They do have a donation box. The museum entrance is in the newer wing and you will see signs in the parking lot.

My favorite room had the hanging guitars. Overall, a nice visit if you need something relaxing to do.

His greatest accomplishment was his agenda for universal (free public) education for all--African Americans and Whites, despite having run on a platform of white supremacy. A new school house was built in NC for every day he was in office! There is also a dated film available for free viewing on demand in the visitors center. I had no idea who he was or what he accomplished. The exhibits were great and more than I expected. Governor Aycock valued public education and opened over 4000 schools in the state one for everyday he was in office including Sundays. White Supremacy is sugar coated and I do hope that more is done to address the ugly history of the state. I did not get an opportunity to explore the buildings outside but will be returning to check out the one room schoolhouse, barn and stables. On my return I will be better educated on Governor Aycock.

For comparison, I've included the photo of what I asked for and then what it looks like now. It's looked this bad since the beginning, not just because it's been 3 years. I wish I remembered the guys name that did it, but I just know it was a guy at this tattoo shop. A day or 2 after receiving the tattoo, it began fading already. I reached out to the guy and he said to come back and he'd fill it. It turned out even worse. It's crooked and not anything like I asked for. In 10 years this tattoo will just be one blob of ink on my wrist. I'll have it removed before that happens, though. My advice - absolutely do not get a tattoo done here. I trusted the high reviews of this shop. Definitely a massive disappointment!

There is a spacious parking lot adjacent to a pool, tennis courts, golf course and club house. There is a grand entrance with banquet rooms. In the main banquet room, there where chefs waiting to prepare custom omelets along with bacon, sausage and fried potatoes. There was always fresh coffee and other beverages. Complements of our company. As our group would take breaks, we walked out onto the patio where there was uncovered and shaded seating over looking the beautiful golf course and pond. Most of our group stayed on site to have lunch which we had to take care of ourselves. The dining room was beautiful, but we opted to eat outside on the patio, directly in the beautiful sun. The prices were very reasonable! I got the chicken quesadilla, and it was my first time trying guacamole, and it was incredible. The quesadilla was huge, and filled with chicken, cheese and peppers, with a taco bowl on the side willed with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. I also tasted my colleague's fried shrimp, and it was wonderful. The only thing was that the club only accepted plastic, which made it so that some of our colleagues had to travel off site for lunch. I must mention how clean the bathroom was. The doors were incredible with horizontal slats and locks that worked. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the paper towels felt like a blend of cotton and silk. I heard many of my colleagues comment in that. The country club staff was helpful and pleasant! Overall, it was a great experience and I am glad my bosses decided to choose that private spot. It would be great to live in that neighborhood!
