The worker over here at Golden Star named Marcy is a horrible rude worker, she initially my order however almost charged for the wrong burger then proceeded to mess up my chocolate milkshake. She never makes it right almost to a point where it feels intentionally and then I have to request the other worker to make the shake how it's meant to be textured. Marcy had also gave my mom's order of "crispy" fries- cold a stale. We had the same other employee correct Marcy's mistake. Marcy slammed our ketchup up bottle on the table then walked away before we could react, this female worker is completely out of service towards customers and has many complaints of her service. First time here and it was not all good not all bad either. The outside does not match the inside. The outside looks old but you go inside and it's roomy and the menu pops with bright colors. What came to my table was not a patty melt but a double decker ham sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and bacon. Very little mayo. I said I ordered the patty melt. She asked if I wanted to return it. But gosh this was so much food. It was stacked and I mean stacked. I just didn't want to waste the food so I said this was fine. She was nice enough to give me the patty melt to go, which I thought was very generous. The sandwich was alright. But it has grilled onions on a cold ham sandwich, it was just weird. We had breakfast for over 30 girls from a high school sports team from Golden Star and the girls absolutely love the food and devoured everything. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, the bacon was perfectly cooked, the eggs were soft and not dry and the owner of the restaurant is always so kind and generous. Ordered a "BCB" burger in the drive thru. Unsure of how dry the burger might be I asked if they can add a little extra dressing to the burger. The attendant was rude and she said that's going to be an extra charge. Assuming she may not have heard me I asked for clarity. An extra charge for extra dressing? She said in another rude tone, I can remove that charge if you like.
