On top of the extensiveness of the alterations, the fabric of my dress is incredibly delicate and intricate, so I'm sure it was a challenge to work with. Tina and the other staff here are some of the nicest people. She said that they put love into their work, and both my parents and I could not have agreed more. They were kind and attentive and you can tell how much care they put into their work both during measurements and their masterful sewing. Beyond just doing the alterations, Tina made sure my mom and I felt comfortable putting up the bustle for my dress and teaching me how to sit in a chair without pulling on it. Every detail was thought of. We were incredibly impressed. Their work is actual magic! One appointment for measurements and one appointment to try it on and it was an absolute perfect fit. I will absolutely be coming back for any clothing that I need altered in the future.

Long story short: my European-based tailors for a dance suit (unique, stretchy, weird) screwed up in a lot of ways, meaning I didn't get a new dance jacket until the same day as a competition. The tailors at Lynn were able to not only get it tailored properly, but they significantly IMPROVED its construction in virtually every way, and in less than two hours. They literally took a mess and made it perfect in every way, and for a remarkably affordable price. I still get compliments on the jacket (pictured, literally ONE HOUR after Lynn fixed it up!). While I'll hopefully never have a similar emergency in the future, I can't recommend this place enough.

I had high hopes for this place because I had a friend who had their wedding dress done and it was…read moreperfect. But i had terrible experience and I'm still trying to get everything fixed before the wedding next weekend. I dropped the dress off on 9/30. I initially said needed by 10/28 but I called back the same day and changed it to 10/24 because my mother in law was going to drive and take stuff up for us. I called on 10/22 to inquire about the status and they had to call me back like it wasn't able to be found. They called back and it had not been started yet. I said I had called back the same day it dropped it off and needed it in 2 days. Continued to argue that the ticket said 10/28. So Friday by 5pm was agreed upon. I arrive at 530 and it is still worked on. It was finished after 20 mins and tried on and the slit was not high enough so agreed to come back by 2pm the next day. I came back and the slit was perfect but I did notice the back shoulders the dress was sticking out. She was able to fix it on the spot while wearing it. But now I have another dilemma. There are several stains on the dress and now I'm having to get it dry cleaned. I'm already in a rush here. These stains were NOT there when I dropped it off. They are all over the dress. The look greasy and/or oily. You can clearly see the X where it was marked by the tailor. So now I am scrambling to get this done. I paid $187 and this is what I got. I ended up having to buy another dress overnight on Amazon and wore that. They waited to the last second to do this and it was too late and then dirty. Unacceptable. This not worth the money by a long shot. Go elsewhere. Update: they did not refund me anything or even offer to clean the dress.
