This was after being incredibly unresponsive. Then they offered us what can only be described as the worst loan terms currently available. We left and went to Exchange Bank and were offered fantastic terms immediately and just closed on our dream home today. I don't know who their target demographic is. But we came in with $180K and fair credit and they treated us like pariahs and damaged our credit. Needless to say, the "friend" who recommended them are no longer trusted.

Then they refused a major source of income at almost the end of the underwriting process causing us to pay off $20k in credit cards with our mortgage after ignoring multiple documented sources of income and free capital! When i sent an email expressing my displeasure in a professional manner, i get an irate call attacking ME for my "tone"! This is a common attack by a sexist! He went on to blame me for all my problems in the "relationship" it became uncomfortably personal and he spent 20 minutes blaming me. Furthermore, who attacks their customers? To top off the whole awful process, they sold our mortgage to some no name servicer with a horrible customer service rating, lawsuits and CFPB complaints for false foreclosure proceedings! This after he lied and said he sold mortgages to WellsFargo, Chase or other REAL BANKING INSTITUTIONS! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!
