My husband and I started working with a broker on the East Coast when looking to purchasing a home. It was a disappointing, with voice mails left, un-returned calls and phone banks. Luckily our realtors gave us Joe's name. Working with Joe Jacobs made the stressful, tedious, often confusing paperwork, manageable. He was always there to answer any questions and explain in detail information we needed clarified. Even calling him on a Sunday when we thought he might not answer, but we had a desperate question, he was there for us. Now we are in a home that both of us love and couldn't be more appreciative of Joe and all the time he spent with us. We are also so grateful for all the time he spent behind the scenes working to get us the best loan and closing cost. I highly recommend Joe Jacobs! I first connected with Joe Jacobs on January 16th before I connected with a real estate agent, and by February 18th I had successfully closed on my first home. From the very beginning, Joe was incredibly helpful and informative, even though I wasn't fully "ready" yet. He walked me through how the buying and loan process works, what price range made sense, and helped me feel confident moving forward. He also recommended a fantastic team of real estate agents, who ended up making the entire experience even smoother. Throughout escrow, communication was fast and clear. Joe explained numbers in a way that actually made sense, ran different scenarios for me, and made sure I understood each step instead of just signing paperwork. I never felt rushed or pressured -- just supported. Closing on time with such a quick turnaround would not have been possible without Joe's organization and responsiveness. I genuinely felt he was looking out for my best interest the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Joe Jacobs, particularly for first-time buyers who want someone patient, educational, and genuinely helpful throughout the home-buying process. read more

We had a great experience working with Joe Jacobs at Intention Financial Group. He was incredibly responsive throughout the process, always answering our questions quickly and thoroughly as well as sending us reminders as appropriate, when we forgot to provide documentation. He also explained our options comprehensively, showing us how different choices might affect us over time, so that we always felt like we were making fully informed decisions. This year was the year my partner and I decided we were going to buy a house and be first time homeowners. Society is not wrong in stating, buying a home is one of the most stressful life events. It is not a smooth process especially in an often-finicky market like California. Joe was the perfect fit for what my partner and I needed. He guided us through the entire process, understood our financial boundaries and advised us accordingly. Joe understood that this was a significant financial transaction for us and was with us every step of the way. We could not have asked for a better trusted advisor for this process, and along the way we made a friend. I highly recommend Joe and his team to anyone looking to get a capable and trustworthy financial broker for their next home purchase. He truly is amazing to work with! read more

My refi was anything but run of the mill. It was essential I transition from current loan into a new one; being self-employed and not having 2 year track record in new business were just two of four big hurdles. If I couldn't get a loan I'd have to sell my home ~ three prior agents had been unsuccessful. Time was working against me and not only did Joe get it done, he accomplished it in an extremely tight window. That was win enough! On top of it, he was professional, knowledgeable (and able to translate into laymen language so I could understand), level set my expectations (this was huge as previous agents gave me high hopes but weren't able to come through) and last but no less important, he promised to touch base daily so I'd know where I was in the process ~ I heard from him every single day. Joe entered the scene in the 11th hour, had products and relationships to tap into, did what he said he would do, helped me manage my mood in highly stressful situation, kept things simple and straightforward, had exemplary team and staff, and got the job done. I'm beyond satisfied. Thank you Joe! read more

My wife and I reached out to several mortgage brokers when we were in the market for a new home with the plan to be preapproved by the time we were ready to make an offer. Joe Jacobs with Intention Financial Group was recommended to us by our realtor. Joe was immediately receptive, attentive and always answered our questions without delay. We ended up finding a home we wished to bid on before we had completed the process. Joe went above and beyond to turbocharge the process to get us approved while the other brokers were either hard to reach or didn't seem particularly motivated to help with our predicament. Joe went as far as meeting with us on weekends and answering our calls and texts on evenings long after normal business hours. He was always in close contact with our realtor, the seller's realtor and other involved parties to ensure we had the best offer possible. He was knowledgeable, had a great grasp of current market conditions, and provided us with several different loan packages to fit our particular situation. Our offer was accepted over several others of a similar amount which I truly believe was largely due to Joe's work on the loan. I know Joe is a well-known broker and has numerous clients, however, he always made us feel like we were his highest priority. I can't recommend Joe enough, and he will be our go-to broker for any future loans or refi's. Thanks Joe! read more

I would highly recommend Joe! He goes the extra mile to help you find the right home based on the criteria that is important to you. He pays attention to the details & comments that are important to you and remembers them when you need help deciding on whether or not you should pursue a property. He was prompt at returning your calls, emails, texts to keep you informed of all details that you needed to make your decisions. We were interested in purchasing out of town, over 60 miles away and when we were wondering if the home would be worth visiting according to our criteria, he either knew the area really well or went there and checked it out for us ahead of time, a big time saver for us. Joe and his team at Loan Depot have been a God-send through my home purchase! Being a personality who requires some hand-holding, I was blown away by their responsiveness, patience, and organization. Not a single phone call or text went unaddressed, even weekends. Joe did a great job helping us find a home. We decided to use Joe as our realtor after turning away from another realtor that was not listening to our needs. Joe understood what we were looking for and was determined to help us find a home that met our needs financially and was also a good fit for our family.
