They grams all 3 and it's more than 6 grams I told them I bought them per piece not per gram, 1 ring cost $599 other one cost $650 solitaire my vca I bought it for $240. They ask me if I bought them online and I said yes oh dnt buy online because you can't see them, both dia rings has certificate and I know where I got them are jewelry seller for years and they mostly sells diamonds. No thank you and never again. You know when your gut feeling is telling you not to do something but you do it anyway? Yup, of course I did it. One of my friends comes here and was raving about her eyelashes and how good Sandy is. Her eyelashes looked great but when she told me where she had got them done, I was shocked. I worked and lived in Waipahu for a while so I've seen and heard of Golden Cut many times before but it's not one of those places you hear good things about. Anyway, my friend suggested I give them a try because they're inexpensive (prices start at $40 for eyelash extensions. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for... First, I have to thank my boyfriend who tried to talk me out of doing this-it was my first time. "You don't need to get eyelash extensions, you don't need them!" "Your eyelashes are nice just the way they are, don't mess with them!" Did I listen to him? Of course not! So I get there at 4 o'clock on the dot as that's what time my appointment is. Sandy wasn't ready for me at 4 not because she was with a client but because she was having lunch. I was annoyed because if you have an appointment scheduled, why not have your lunch earlier so that it doesn't run into your appointment time? Then I told myself not to sweat it because her scheduling must've got thrown off, they were busy and she didn't have the chance to go to lunch earlier. However, it was almost 4:30 by the time she took me in! About 5 minutes into the service, her co-worker told her that her next appointment was there. She kind of scolded the lady and told her that she didn't know she had another appointment. There was confusion then the lady apologized and left. Sandy then tells me if I want to make an appointment, to call/text her directly on her cell phone as they tend to make appointments without letting her know. Wow. Get your scheduling in check Golden Cut. If I'm advised not to call the business directly and their own cosmetologist tells me it's best to call her directly, there's a problem there. Then about another 5 minutes later, her female co-worker came back to rush us and said the lady waiting to be serviced is in a hurry and she needs to rush to work. Sandy told her to ask the lady to wait. THEN about 5 minutes later, her male co-worker came in the room and started talking to Sandy about what time she was leaving work and also commented on how nice my eyelashes were coming along, how hungry he was and blah, blah blaahhhh! First of all, please let her do her work in peace as she needs to finish quickly because there's another customer waiting. Second, stop being so intrusive and unprofessional. Next, her female co-worker decides to bring the customer that has been waiting in the room while I was still in it! Sandy wasn't even done with my eyelashes and there was no point in bringing the next customer in as Sandy only has two hands, she can only work on one customer at a time. Geeze, talk about pressure to complete your work quickly. Then, get this-the male co-worker comes back yet another time to ask Sandy if she can give him a ride after work and also leave work early because he's bored. So, after all that's said and done, I was pleased with my eyelashes much more than the customer service and Sandy is actually a sweet lady so I returned 2 months later. Why I chose to subject myself to this circus once again is beyond me. Well I probably did it because Sandy was nice and she did a good job with my eyelashes. The second time I went back, I asked for an eyebrow wax too which I regret completely. I felt bad because I do have my brows waxed regularly by a particular salon but I thought I might as well kill two birds with one stone. Sandy sure can do eyelashes but she needs a refresher course in waxing. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the worst eyebrow wax ever. Why? It didn't even look like I got waxed because she left so many stray hairs. I could've saved my money and did a better job using a tweezer. She also trimmed them but they ended up being choppy and uneven. Again, I was pleased with my eyelashes but I had to deal with the same male co-worker walking into the back room while we were in there. He was talking and eating and just being rude and unprofessional all over again. When I was leaving, they (the male and another female co-worker) tried to sell me some purses, hair products and shoes. Yes, they sell purses, shoes and jewelry too. There's a random mix of products, services and unprofessionalism going on in there. Not to mention, everything seemed so cluttered and unorganized with everything going on in there. I must say this place isn't the most glamorous but compared to other places, it's way cheaper. I never paid more than $100 for full set of lashes '16 and refills are $40-$50, depending on how much lashes you have left. Sometimes I have to wait, that's the only thing I don't like but the owner is super sweet too. Everyone at this shop is really friendly and making an appointment is easy. I came in on a slow Sunday afternoon. Only two people were working; one was the owner. How they managed to screw this up is beyond me. To be fair, they did a good job on my eyebrows. They looked natural, not too thin, which is what I feared would happen. However, their extreme lack of professionalism was appalling. While the only other customer there was getting a pedicure, the employee asked her whether she was diabetic. The customer answered, "No. Why do you ask?" Exactly. Why would you randomly ask someone you didn't know about something so personal, especially something that has absolutely nothing to do with a pedicure? ***UPDATE: I've been informed that sometimes, beauticians will ask about diabetes in case there are cuts to the skin...which doesn't make me feel any better if the question is asked before a pedicure.*** That same employee waxed my chin and upper lip. She/he was probably inexperienced with doing eyebrows, since she/he passed that task along to the owner. Believe me, I was glad for that. Nothing worse than botched eyebrows. Except for maybe botched customer service. While the owner rung me up -- $30 for eyebrows, chin and upper lip -- a man came in wanting to sell a piece of gold jewelry. The owner said she was leaving. The ladies here are very friendly! I been coming here for a while. Their manicures are really pretty! They take their time with you and they'll talk to you. I really dislike when people talk in their language about the person they're working on! Most of the ladies here are filipino anyway haha, so its easy to understand them. I've gotten a hair color and hair cut from them before, and it came out amazing! But lately, I go here to get eye lash extensions at least once a month or so. I came to Golden Cuts to color my roots, hair washed, flat ironed, and trimmed. Chose Golden Cuts because I like the reviews and didn't want to travel too far from home. My bad. I went there with no make up on and a hat to cover my freshly washed but un tamed (no flat iron/blow dry) hair. I wasn't dressed up. I was in casual clothing. So I guess I didn't look expensive enough to be given proper or even just basic customer service/attention. (Little do they know I went there with a budget of $300 because I wanted to leave looking fabulous) Like the other ladies who all the workers totally suffocated with attention, so much so that the workers were even modeling their hand bags and jewelry to them. They did that for 3 different customers that came and went, two who were first timers like me. I was not given that courtesy even though I inquired about two bags. Thats okay I came for the hair services anyways. On top of being duly ignored, I explained to the stylist working on my hair that my hair was going thin for whatever reason and that I wanted to try something new. She was very negative and reluctant on all my ideas and said we should just trim it, and so trusting the prior raves about Amy I went along with it. She began doing my roots, which was quick. And when she was done she simply walked away. She didn't even let me know how long it would be, or offer me a magazine, or even let me know that she was done. I am not saying I should be treated like a queen and offered the world, but a simple gesture to let me know I will be waiting for a bit or something would've been better than just walking away without a word. Anyways another guy came in about 25 minutes afterwards and she started on him. Meanwhile she had me waiting another half an hour with the coloring product on my already thinning hair. I have NEVER been to a salon where they kept the coloring product on my hair for a full hour! Especially when I am only coloring my hair BLACK of all colors! My prior stylist who relocated to the mainland always emphasized that since I am coloring my hair black and my hair is already thinning that dye shouldn't be on my head no longer than 20-30 minutes tops! I was really really unhappy with that and kept asking her when we could rinse it out. But because she was in the middle of cutting this dudes hair, and then doing his pedicure, I had to sit there even longer. To be fair after she saw how upset I was she stopped in the middle of the dudes pedi and started rinsing and washing my hair. She put me under the dryer bubble and proceeded to finish the dudes pedi. And then when she was finally done with him she came back to me and straightened my hair. Little conversation was made and it was a bit awkward but ah its alright. Anyhow this is the juicy part, after my hair was straight, she proceeded to cut my hair and all she did was literally cut striaght across with her little scissors, and then she said it was done. She just HACKED it!!! She didn't even BLEND it! Even Fantastic Sams has blended my hair! I was so upset when she said she was finished! I could not believe it. I asked her if she was going to blend it and she said 'There is no need'. MY GOODNESS! Seriously that's the most basic of basic things. I was so upset and left feeling really discouraged because I expected a lot more just basic customer service, standard quality, I just expected so much MORE than what I got. I felt like because my appearance, maybe my age, maybe because I was the only Samoan in the shop that they decided I wasn't worth even the most basic courtesies or services. I felt ripped off, especially when I went up to the counter and got my bill of $75 for crap. I know that there are some people who go here and have good experiences but I did not and I am just sharing it because I feel strongly about it. Two days ago, I figured I give Golden Cut a try considering my friend having fab eyelash extensions & hair done by them. She referred me to Hera & little did I know.. I was a first timer getting lash extensions & I thought it was normal to feel very uncomfortable; the feeling of your eyelids trembling, eyes burning, & eyes tearing up. She didn't even tell me what to expect & the procedures of how to take care of them until I mentioned it while she was doing my hair. I also asked if the remaining white glue will go away on its own, she corrected me saying that it was tape & answered yes it will dissolve later. I loved the ending results of my hair only because I've never gotten highlights or gone lighter before. Now that I look at it, the colors were uneven. I paid $110 for this & including the last extensions, a total of $163. Today my lash extensions are already falling off, lasting only for 2 days when I was told it'd last for 2 weeks, 1 month being the most. I have been coming here off and on for many years. The only people I will allow to do my hair in there is Dee and Bing (owner). Bing has done my eyebrow tattoos and my eyelash extensions. She knows her stuff and is very good at it. I don't know about the other stylists. I've seen many come and go through the years. If I'm not happy with something I just go to Bing and tell her and she'll correct it. Dee has never let me down with a haircut, color or highlight. I have been getting lash extensions for months now at a couple of different places. I am well aware of how lashes are attached, how fills are done, and how they are taken off. THEY ARE NOT TAKEN OFF BY SIMPLY PULLING OUT THE LASH, THERE IS A SOLUTION THAT IS USED TO DISSOLVE THE GLUE SO AS TO NOT HARM THE NATURAL LASH. I should have stopped her right then and there because I could feel her pulling out my natural lashes, but I trusted her. I was a regular customer here for a while getting eyelash extensions from Sandy. I completely regret my choice of doing so. They are completely unprofessional and there is absolutely no organization in this salon what so ever. So many times would I wait 30 to 45 minutes even after my scheduled time to be seen. They totally over book, it takes her minimum 2 hours to complete lashes yet they continuously book her with a client every hour. I was also once put to the side while she "quickly" did a fill for another client half way through my appointment. I believe I was to nice to let that happen, you should never be put aside to wait while another client gets in because of their over booking. This was a serious and continuous problem. The absolutely worst experience of the many I had here was when I let Sandy give me an eyebrow wax. She completely butchered my eyebrows, they were uneven, super thin skinny lines with stray hairs all over. I was so upset I posted a picture on my personal Instagram account trying to make light of the situation. Well turns out some of the "stylists" at Golden Cut found my IG account and showed the whole salon including Sandy. Which is fine... what isn't fine is that I then got a very long text message to my personal number from Sandy saying how hurt she was and "how could I do this to her". I was floored! Who in their right mind would text a client as if we are friends about something like that. If you want to confront me that is more then fine, do it in person and address it in a professional manner if you must. But she was treating me as though I was part of the salon and we were friends. I pay her for a service, I have every right to post my experience to my own personal and private IG account. After I pointed this out to her and also mentioned that despite the experience I still gave her a generous tip everytime she completely began to back track and started to then tell me that I shouldn't trust some of the stylists in the salon because they like to talk about me?! I never once got my hair done from any of the stylists and my only interaction with them was when I walked by them on my way to get my lashes done. I was completely turned off from all this. I went here for a haircut and her prices seem to be a total rip off. I just went in for a trim and to have all my dead hair cut off and I was charged $35 all because my "hair is long"... That makes no sense cause I shouldn't be charged extra to cut off my long hair. Is she using an extra pair of scissors to cut my long hair off? Ridiculous! I understand that other salons such as Regis charge $30+ but that's because a hair wash is included. I didn't receive a hair wash, just a trim. My usual hair stylist charges $20 for QUALITY hair cut. I went in for an eyebrow wax and should have turned around and stuck with my gut feeling since the place was cluttered and dusty..I proceeded to have a woman 'wax' my eyebrows. She used wax on the bottom of the brow, proceeded to pluck the hairs on the top and then said 'ok your done!', I had to ask for a mirror and when I looked she didn't even wax the top which left hairs..Then when I asked to have it waxed she acted surprised...so she proceeded to wax the top.. Not only are my brows now extremely uneven(small in some areas and thick in others) she waxed only one side of the center..which I didn't even realize until I had left. I wouldn't recommend this place for a eyebrow wax. I usually go to wahiawa but I wanted to try this place out, but sadly it was very cluttered and unorganized. All I wanted to do was come in and get my eyebrows done and leave but it took way longer to do my eyebrows than I expected. It's not worth $15+$3 tip for a wax that's not done properly, Emy didn't even wax the top part of my eyebrows, and it's not even. I can go to wahiawa to get my eyebrows done and upper lip and still give her tip with the $15, it would look a lot better than I got from here. Giving this place a one star. read more

At first, I wasn't too impress on how the shop looks but I'm not there to judge the place but the quality of work they do. Don't get me wrong, but the ladies were nice, just not every nice personality makes the cut. While I was doing my hair, the lady walked off and did someone else's hair! I was so upset and I was already running late! Not to mention, the lady who did our makeup, used cotton swabs and cotton balls! She screwed up my eyebrows and the lipstick she applied had lint from the cotton swabs. I was damn sure to wipe that off after I left. My friend requested to have his hair thinned out at the back, just a little, but the end result was the complete opposite of what he requested. They cut his hair too short to his liking! Never going back golden cut ever! I knew already that the lady sandy who does eye lash extensions is a bad professional. She put too much glue and glued the extension onto my eyelids. They tirned out nice at the end but i knew something wasnt right. But i just went ahead and pay $58 and i have sandy a $5 tip. On my way home,i begining to feel like something poking or somethings in my eye. I though it was nothing til i looked in the mirror i noticed my eyes we're turning more red and waterey. I was on my way to lmour in pearls to get my eyebrow tints fixed when the lady who worked in lmour notice that my eyelsh extension were not right. So,i was right. The lady name sandy in golden glued the the extensions right onto my skin(water line) thats whats bothering and hurting eye. I told sandy,and i had her to come over my house the same day,it was night time like 8:30pm. She came over my place to fix,(redo) but only came to know that the same shit happened. The next morning the extensions starts falling off and my eyes where worsens. I couldnt take it anymore so i went to lmours the following morning for my appt. Lmour's couldnt place new extensions better than goldencuts cause sandy fucked it up. They remove my lashes,and through out the process my eyes were burning. I turned around, by then, she was too busy with a customer and the other staff told me she said I could come back the next day to give her back her money and I can grab my things.
