Tenders not spicy and my jalepeno was missing. Slow down and pay attention. And NO!! I'm not wasting gas to drive back up there.

It to expensive to always have something missing out of my order. Today my tenders were suppose to be spicy got regular. I didn't get my gravy for the tenders. Wife got two fish 3 shrimp guess what no shrimp. I give places 3 times and this is it every time we go there it's always something missing or not right. read more

Decided to make my way inside to order where I had the pleasure to meet Brandon. My order was efficiently taken as well as served with a smile! Thank you Brandon for your suggestions and getting my order correctly. read more

Came through the drive-thru an hour before close and ordered a two piece catfish and kids tenders meal. The kids meal was fine but my two piece catfish looked like a one piece catfish cut in half and fried up into two pieces. I've had the catfish here before but I remember the pieces being bigger than this. read more

Golden Chick - This is a two piece catfish meal. Honestly looks like one piece cut in half and fried in two pieces. - Fast Food Near Me - Crowley, Texas

Food is always good at golden chick but the portions are ridiculously small!! A small handful of fries with the smallest pieces of chicken for $9??? What a rip off. We've been coming to this location for 6 years and within the last few months it has gotten worse and the service has gotten slower. Get it together guys read more

Review is about the Crowley location only. We have been here several times. It has been our experience most of the time that we do not get the items we ordered; and it is too late when we get home. The chicken is really good and so is the coleslaw and the rolls. It is frustrating to order two breasts and a family coleslaw, and get home with a three piece dinner with a small coleslaw. The unit off of south Hulen in Fort Worth gives us what we order. read more

Wow, what great service this location has!! I went through the drive-through, and not only was I greeted with a smile, the girl had me check my drink to make sure it tasted OK because she said it came out a little watery and wanted to make sure I didn't drive off with a yucky drink. Who does that these days?? (Kudos to you, Antaniya!) My order was 100% correct and steaming hot. Overall, I gave this location 5 stars for my visit today. For once, a drive-through experience was pleasant, professional, customer service oriented, and accurate. Nice!! PS - the chicken and green beans and roll were amazing as well!! read more

Good chicken, sides and the big rolls. Everything is good and fresh. You ever wonder why you're asking to keep writing your review, when you don't really have a funny little story to go along with your visit or nothing bad to say......yeah I don't know why either, anyway like I said up top there the food was hot and fresh and good. read more

I order from here at least once a week but I usually go through the drive thru. They get my order right and the food is hot and delicious. My husband ordered food to be delivered today. They forgot the Mac & cheese and green beans. Called the store and the "GM" said she did not have any perfect people working for her. Good to know, but I paid for items I did not receive and expect a full refund. She was more than happy for me to drive to the store and pick up the missing items but I ordered delivery for a reason. Why are we expected to accept anything and a "sorry about that" is supposed to suffice and you spent your money - SERIOUSLY! read more

We ordered on Door Dash and was missing a whole meal and family size poppers. Needless to say I was upset having to drive to the store and mess with it since I paid to have it delivered. Porsha and Kennedy helped me get it straight. They both saw the driver take out a plastic bag that had the drink, meal and poppered in it. "No problem" they said and filled the order quickly and apologized thoroughly for something that they didn't do. Thanks so much for good attitudes and great service. Mike H read more

today we came through the drive through around 1:30 and the gentleman that was taking out order was so nice and made sure he got every detial of our order correct and even repeated back the order when he was handing us our food. Customer service and food was great! read more

First time to this restaurant. My wife and I went here after church Sunday night. We both ordered the ckn tender plate ditch fries. The service was great. The food was hot and fresh. I'm a big eater and the 4 piece meal filled me up just fine. The dining room and restroom were both clean and maintained. It was also nice to see the manager walking the dining room and talking to customers. We will go back here again. read more

The food here was overall okay, but service not up to par. Went here with my parents. Ordered 3 meals. It took over 20 minutes to get any food and when we got it, no rolls, my moms order was wrong, and it was literally just thrown on a plate. Our order was given to us after several customers after us got theirs. While I'm generally understanding if things needing time to make, when I asked the girl at the front was short with me and just said they were out off rolls. I asked if we would be able to get any and eventually another woman said in maybe another 5 to 10 minutes along with a side I ordered. Even had they warned us they were slowed down at the beginning, or handled it with decent customer service, we would honestly have been okay. However at a fast food location time should be a consideration when taking a customer's order and if a problem or question comes up, it should be handled with a service mindset, not being short with customers. If a customer is waiting for over 20 minutes and passed by multiple customers that arrived later that should be looked at as well. Decentish food if you get what you ordered, but terrible service. read more

"When you're hungry here's a little trick, hop in the car and head to golden chick! GOLDEN CHICK!" Anyone else in love with their jingle? I like golden chick a lot better than chicken express. The chicken tenders are pretty much the same as express but their fries are a whole lot better. They also have an option to make your tenders spicy which is what I got but it wasn't spicy at all, which is fine. Wish there was one closer to me but I'll definitely be back! read more

WHAT has happened to this place? The shrimp and tenders were ok at best, the sides came in the tiniest bowls ever and the lids did not seal so your sides end up spilling all out! The rolls have always been our favorite, but this time tasted like they were made with artificial sweetener and had the worst after taste. Too much yeast? I dunno, but even though I hope the catfish is still good, we won't be going back. read more

Sign of the Times?! Ordered 10 pieces of dark meat, three sides and extra gravy. Employee said "that's legs & thighs"!? I answered: that's the only meat on a chicken that is dark. When I reached home, I found individual sides, not family portions. Chicken was great, as was the mashed potatoes and gravy, but green beans lacked flavor and substance. Employee lacked product knowledge and situation awareness. In addition, she included a back among the thighs and legs. HELLO!! read more

Love this place, close to home, coupons and great catfish and chicken. Love the corn nuggets too.

There are lots of good chicken places in the metroplex, and Golden Chick is one of the places that consistently delivers. Although my selection is limited to the chicken tenders and sides due to my dislike of chicken on the bone, I always enjoy my meal here. TIP: If you like a little kick in your chicken, ask for it spicy, and be prepared for your taste buds to cheer in delight. Their sweet tea is comparable to my favorite sugar/sweet tea joint, Chicken Express, which we all know is really diabetes in a cup. It's so good! The yeast rolls are always hot and yummy and its a shame they don't give you two, but you can always purchase more. All in all, a good spot to get your chicken tender fix. Oh and if you go in, you can get free soft serve!!! Winning! read more

Golden Chick - Counter - Fast Food Near Me - Crowley, Texas

Ok, the food is pretty good here but the service is absolutely awful. I quit going to the drive thru because they screwed up my order several times. Today we went inside to place an order and waited at the counter for 10 minutes, and the workers behind the counter basically ignored us. There were 4 customers in the place (already served) and not a single car in the drive thru. There were 3 people behind the counter, 2 of them were standing around doing nothing, and the third worker who looked to be packing a call in order said something to one guy and nodded towards us and he just walked to the back. That was it for me - after multiple screwed up orders and rude, lousy, slow service by the employees, I am done with this place. read more

The guy at the register was so rude. Gave me a receipt to sign that wasnt legible. Was dismissive when i corrected my order and combative when i asked a question about combos. Horrible customer service. read more

we ordered food got home our order was wrong! then we try to eat. the chicken and okra is so hard we literally could not eat it. we threw it in the trash and I called the restaurant. I was told to bring my receipt for a refund. I took it the next day and was rudely taken to. supervisor who said he doesn't do this. I explained the situation and he abruptly left and went in the back. he sent a girl fir my debit card and came back and said he ran a credit. he kept the receipt and I have yet to receive any sort of credit! I was lied to and will never go back. I hope others won't go here either. read more

Never, ever coming back here. I ordered two chicken breast and they informed me it would be additional charge. I was fine with that. Only problem was when I pulled up to the window, the worker came up and asked if I wanted thighs instead. Told her no I wanted two breasts. She stared at me like that would change my mind and asked me again do I want a thigh and something else. Told her no. she said okay. Got home and she gave me a wing and thigh. Really?! read more

It's Golden Chick, BTW... It was hard not to compare this to Chicken Express, upon looking at their menu. I think they've maybe had management or team changes since the last reviews, because I was not sold on this place. Chicken - Their chicken was about the same as Chicken Express's, maybe a little less greasy. Ordered some spicy and some regulars, and the spice on the spicy was just kinda tossed in there after the tenders went into the box, leaving huge chunks of unspiced chicken. Golden Chick 1, Chicken E 0 Sides - I was excited about the mac n cheese...if they could pull this off, this would definitely put them ahead in the Golden Chick/Chicken Express Showdown. Come on - admit it - when you hit up KFC you can't help but have that weird orangeish mac n cheese... it's like a little piece of the 80s. So imagine how disappointed I was when I got this bland, cold, runny elbow pasta. Still gagging a little. Mashed potatoes with gravy had like a drop of gravy on them. I know the staff must have had Thanksgiving at some point and understood the importance of gravy... standard potatoes. Okra was sad. Rolls were about even between the two. Chicken E takes the win, because no mac n cheese is better than awful mac n cheese any day. Golden Chick 1, Chicken E 1 Service - Unfortunately, it was kinda slow & the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. I always try to be cheerful & upbeat whenever someone is in charge of something I'm going to digest, you know, ask how their day is going, and I can usually get an attempt at mirroring my pleasant demeanor... again - they seemed a little overwhelmed. Golden Chick 1, Chicken E 2, resulting in a win for Chicken Express. Too bad it's not just about the chicken. read more

Well, well, well: Crowley has a new place to eat and its great! The roast chicken is truly delicious. The meat is juicy and the marinade has just enough spice to make it flavorful and pleasing. Also, they offer healthy sides like fruit salad or green salad in addition to the traditional fries, okra, potatoes (fries, mashed, & salad), green beans, or cole slaw. I haven't tried the fried chicken, but if its half as good as the roast chicken then nearby competitors might be in trouble! read more

Approximately 1:07 pm, Saturday 12/21/19. The food is always solid and fast coming out but the young kid working the drive through is very unwelcoming and acts like he hates his job. Unfortunately ZERO STARS is not an option! Are you kidding me? A 20 minute wait for fried chicken at a fried chicken restaurant? Very slow drive though service. Waited 20 mins.... 10 to take my order, 10 more at the window. Horrible experience for my first time stopping at Golden Chick. Finally got my food and went to my destination to eat it. Mash potatoes was the worst I have ever seen. Watery and runny. The chicken just didn't have the right taste. Couldn't even get them out of the box without the breaking falling off and falling apart. Jal bombers were the only thing good with my meal. Worst first experience ever and I don't believe I will ever go back to this business at any location. read more

Girl working the desk was rude. Food was ok, okra tasted like it had been sitting for a while.

This place is doing so bad that the drive thru hasn't had a call box for months and employees have come out to take your order and then go back in with it. If they are not doing well enough to fix the call box makes you wonder what else they skimp on? Cleaning, old food? read more
