And a local business, at that! Lots of cool gear and clothes, and even better sales! They had a lot of winter season sales when we came in so I ended up buying a comfortable jacket with their logo! They literally have everything here. I saw a few books I wanted to buy, but had to stay within my budget :) but I'd love to come back and maybe pick up those books and take them home with me! We spent $1,400 in various fishing tackle and life jackets and requested that the four reels we bought be spooled with fluorocarbon line free of charge since we spent $1,400 in the store. "Respectfully" Fred and Clara were very calm and understood our request. Mike the Manager talked to me like I was trying to steal money from the store and was disrespectful. This Big 5 has it all and it's an easy stop - rather than braving the hustle of Walmart. Their staff have always been friendly and personable and quick to offer to help us find anything when we've had questions.
