The sweet potato fries were great though and went well with their bbq sauces. The fish and shrimp received mixed reviews from the two people that ordered it. The corn muffins were definitely something that we would get again and also worked great with the bbq sauces. Overall, it was fine with some good and some not so good. The price is a little higher than some restaurants with similar offerings, but the portions are quite large, so maybe that's the tradeoff. Not sure if this is going to get added to our rotation, but they did seem to have some good happy hour deals, so maybe for that.

For dessert, my dining companion and I shared a slice of their peanut butter cream pie, which was, of course--a delight. Parties of the same size were seated before us even though they arrived after. What's missing they will never get back. The shits out of the horse and you can't put it back in, no matter how hard you try. The feeling of the original Del Bar is gone. Along with all of the familiar long time faces we've recognized. Especially the bartender we befriended who created the Del bars espresso martini as it is now. Congrats Del Bar. You're not special any longer. Just another Chicago steakhouse or another dells attraction. The charm is gone.
