I wish I can give a review rating of more than 5 stars for this concrete company. Ramon and his crews are truly the gold standard in the concrete business! They just completed a major concrete project for my house totaling over 2,400 sq ft of concrete and done to perfection! I got a bunch of quotes for this concrete project at my house recently and talked to a bunch of different concrete companies and personnel. I found Au's quote to be the most comprehensive and cost-effective out of the six of so quotes that I received. Also, Ramon came across as prompt, pleasant, courteous, top tier, and highly experienced in concrete work (he worked the Sixth Street Bridge project in LA for years - pouring all that concrete!). I figured that I would be in good hands with Au Standard Concrete and Ramon and selected their bid for the concrete work for my house. In hindsight, I was totally correct when all is said and done! The work proceeded without a glitch (well at least from my home owner's perspective anyway). Everything progressed smoothly as promised and finished promptly right on the day Ramon promised it would be done. Ramon and his crew showed up promptly @7am every day to first perform the demolition, excavation, base prep, and forms for the concrete pour. Then on the day that the concrete trucks were scheduled they showed up promptly at 5am to prep the site for the concrete pour then finished the concrete and performed final site cleanup, all done by 2pm in the same day. The resulting concrete was just beautiful and met and exceeded all my wishes and expectations. Ramon added important touches to my concrete project that I did not even think of nor requested/specified in my original bid, such as giving my circular gazebo concrete pad a slight slope from the center of the circle out to the outside perimeter to facilitate water draining in the rains. Ramon and his crews did exceptional work. They made this major concrete project at my house look easy with all their experience, right personnel, and the right equipment. They also had great manners and lots of respect for my house and property while working this concrete project at my house. My house was left in better shape than when they started the work. I am beyond pleased with the end results. I am also happy with the costs which was very reasonable. It's been truly a pleasure for me to work with Au Standard Concrete/Ramon, and I highly recommend Ramon and his crews for any of your concrete needs.

They say they will *fix* things but won't bother to show up. Low quality items: Not even a month after my aritificial turf was installed, portions of it started to dry out and lift up. I'll include a picture of their turf supplier so that anyone can see their suppliers' reviews as well. Sketchy business practices: There is no paper trail when giving payments. Thomas only wants cash or zelle and will not provide a schedule of payment dates. Instead, he'll text you the day before and say, "I need payment of $$$$ for supplies." The zelle linked to this company is neither of Thomas, his brother, or the company's. As stated before, there is no paper trail. Last one, after deciding halfway through the job that I wanted to go with an upgrade that we had previously discussed, I wanted to make sure we were on the same page on price. Thomas had quoted me with a balance that was $500 more than the original agreed amount. Fortunately for me, I caught the discrepancy in the quote, and I called it out. Seek several quotes: Their prices fall in line or higher than other licensed businesses in the AV. The only problem is that they're no longer licensed. Be aware of unlicensed businesses for obvious reasons.
