Our experience with the restaurants for one day is fantastic. We were there Friday buffet. That is the only best day or what we call Prime Day. The buffet set off day only Friday and Saturday from 1 pm to 6 pm. Friday we have visited is the best day compare to my friend went on the following day. The food at Saturday is not nearly good as to Friday buffet. The Friday buffet has Mansaf - a authentic Arab lamb dish. It was delicious. It also has bake and bbq chicken, beef, fried fish. Other than the main dish. They also have about 12 other choices including the eggplant. Food is great on Friday buffet. It worth the price and experience to try their food. We came here before I flew home. The owner was very nice and helpful. How his ratings are below a 4 star makes no sense. This place has food that is so flavorful and delicious. I judge a restaurant by its food since hole in the walls typically have the best food. I'd rather eat a delicious meal than have a fancy disgusting meal. This place is a hidden gem. EDIT::: 3 hours later & both my husband and I are sick to our stomachs DO NOT EAT at this place. First off they are ENTIRELY OVERPRICED & for what ? Mostly rice with only 1 meat option. They had chicken & that was it aside from a few TINY pieces of lamb mixed inside one of the rice options. They don't greet you once you walk inside, they don't even come to the table, not to say hello or offer a menu or a drink. We had to take a water bottle from the fridge in the front. There was only 1 spoon out that 4 of us had to share. There was literally NOONE out or behind the counter to even ask for anything. (We are 2 adults, a 2 year old and a 1 year old) and they charged us $55?!?!?!? They charged for the children to eat (eat what ??? 5 bites of rice???) we showed up 1 1/2 hours before the buffet was over & everything was dry and getting sort of a film over it. This place is RIDICULOUS. To top it all off a small group of guys came about 20 minutes after we did and MAGICALLY the guys shows up to ask them if they want drinks & brought fresh silverware and fresh food. HOW INSULTING!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go and Visit Mirage Restaurant in ClEARWATER, it's a small drive but the price is better and the food is immaculate and truly makes this place look like the dump it is. We were there Friday afternoon at 1 when the lady just brought out different tray of food and put them in buffet station. They looked attractive and tasted delicious. My top favorite was the beef kufta with potato and lamb over rice. Fry fish fillet over yellow rice was also very good. There were bake chicken and chicken wing. I liked the sauce on the chicken wing, it tasted like the mix of teriyaki and BBQ , quite tasty. Their meat -chicken, beef, lamb, fish were good quality and fresh. I tried the green bean soup which was tomato base, not bad at all. There were eggplant, pasta , salad, hummus, watermelon, pita bread- quite a good selections for buffet. Somehow, their chief's seasoning and the technique he/ she prepared the food pleased my mouth. The ambience was basic. The whole place looked clean. As for service, there was none. I walked to the buffet to get my food. When I finished I went to the counter and paid the check. It was pretty much cafeteria style. This place makes the best Mandi rice ever. As far as I am concerned this place knows its middle eastern foods but I recommend lamb or chicken Mandi, also the pastries are the best out of this world. They also have soda pops from the middle east this restaurant in particular focuses on Saudi Arabian food and it's amazing. Bottom line, go to the Golden Bakery and try their foods, they are delicious and the service is prompted and good. read more
