As a small business owner that charges a premium for premium work, I appreciate when another business does premium work even if it's a little more expensive than what the other guys who are unlicensed/unskilled workers charge. One gentleman came, nice guy, however this is what the issue was: He walked around probably for 10 minutes, showed me a light (average you can get at Amazon) and quoted me $8000 for 23 standard lights and if I wanted color is was going to be $15000 After this he charged his $195. I mentioned if I was getting the quote in writing which I didn't get a clear answer and off he went. I called another company, charged me $3500 for 25 color lights (better lights) and extra transformer and app to turn them on from your phone. My point: if you call Valley Scape, make sure you get another 2 or 3 quotes from other providers because they are probably going to take you for a ride if you are not careful. $3500 versus $15000 is a big difference.

He replaced the valves with Rainbird heavy duty valves in about 30 minutes. Valves are located in a bed of small landscape rocks and I asked him to please be careful with the rocks and when he was done they were just as they were before he started, nothing disturbed at all. After we tested the valves and he left I noticed that one of my sprinklers continued to drip slightly, was about 20 minutes later. I called Aaron and he immediately came back and checked. The dripping had stopped by the time he came back and he said it was just some residual water draining. Aaron had come on time, was respectful of my property, and did a professional installation. Carol was great on the phone and did her best to schedule an estimate at my earliest convenience. My schedule is pretty hectic, so there was a small window available for her husband to visit our home. When we finally scheduled an appoinment, Joe arrived early and was very friendly. In fact, our Chihuahua loved him, and our Chihuahua does not easily warm up to new people. Oddly, our Chihuahua would not leave Joe's side, and Joe gave our dog plenty of attention in between measuring our kitchen walls and writing things on his notepad. When Joe left, our dog sat by the door and whined for a few minutes and then would not leave the door for several minutes after. This was definitely a good sign that Joe was someone that we could trust. Lol. The kitchen project took four days. He had to fix some drywall, apply new paint, install new cabinet hardware, and backsplash. While having people working in your kitchen for four days is not always fun, Joe was very considerate of our home. He covered our floors every morning and cleaned all work areas at the end of every day. He is also really fun to have conversations with. He is just a great and friendly guy. The kitchen looks great, and we are already creating another list of projects for Joe to complete in the near future. Turns out the original installation was flawed. The only connection in the run and the original install forgot to glue the joint. Depending on how we moved the pipe it may leak or not so after digging up and jack hammering the concrete footers underneath the retaining wall it finally let loose.
