Worst customer service ever! Arrived at my house an hour early, no phone call, asked if I wanted them to come back and I said no, come on in. I turned around and they were in their truck speeding off. Very rude and unprofessional. In addition, when I made the appt. he basically said my pellet stove was probably too old to service (without even looking at it) and I would be better off buying a new one. We have our chimney cleaned twice a year. This past week we had it cleaned and the dryer hose as well. It was over $400.00 and they weren't here even an hour. They left all the dryer lint lying on the ground and didn't bother to clean the glass or the hearth off. Was not very impressed. Would not recommend them to my friends I gave them 3 stars as they were on time and returned my phone calls promptly read more

We bought our cabin a year and a half ago "as is" .Unknown when last cleaning of chimney was, when we started a fire a couple weeks ago it was really smoky . Called GoldCap - on recommendation of our HOA at White Mountain Summer Homes. He scheduled me within the week ! He said the chimney was really backed up. Can't be bothered with any repairs, they only want to do an "annual service". They broke an appointment, then played phone tag for 2 weeks, then said they couldn't replace a fan and we should Google someone else. We definitely will. read more

I don't like to do negative reviews; however, this company deserves it based on customer service. I went with this company due to some good reviews online. I scheduled for a diagnosis on my fireplace and was a bit taken aback by the $185 price tag. He said he was busy and it wAs the season. I was fine with it as he must be good, right? Once he diagnosed the problem he had to come back to fix it with the manufacturers parts. About 2 months later I checked back with him about my appointment to see if the parts came in, which he said no. I asked what manufacturers part number he ordered and he refused to give me that information with various excuses. The communication lasted a week and he still didn't give me that information. He seemed he was too busy to take the time to answer questions (basic customer service 101 - regardless if it is appearing repetitive or not) I was trying to find those parts in the valley with a fireplace supplier so I would able to keep my scheduled appointment. When he told me I would need to reschedule with him I still didn't have the parts info from him. Why wouldn't he give me that info.. a lot of assumptions came to mind..... I contacted Wizards Hearth and Home. I was able to obtain the owners manual, worked with them to find the manufacturer s part and get it fixed in less than a week! Go to Wizards! UNPREPARED...Set up an appointment to chimney sweep and inspect as we recently purchased property. Arrived on time and friendly. Did the chimney sweep and inspection then informed me the caulking around chimney at the roof was cracking and needed repair...BUT he didn't bring the special chimney caulking with him so in order to fix caulking I would need to pay for an additional service call for him to come back to do that. read more
