I have been looking for clock repair in NYC for some time and I have found two extremes: on the one hand, clock snobs who won't even look at a mechanical clock unless it meets a certain level of age, rareness and sophistication and on the other hand, well-meaning tinkerers who will be happy to work on your clock but seem to lack much expertise. Igor struck me with both his expertise and his generosity to share that knowledge with a genuinely curious novice. That is the ideal and entirely too rare combination that makes doing business such a pleasure. Even though I didn't find the clock I wanted, I now know where I will take my clocks to be repaired. Parking was a bit difficult but worth it . We were warmly greeted and taken care of promptly and professionally. Everyone here is personable and very well educated in what they sell . My Mille Miglia was sent out to the factory service center in Florida for expert repairs. We had such a good experience here I bought my lovely bride a 14.5 carat TW necklace . I can't wait to go back to pick up my Chopard to see what else we can purchase.
