The site was clean and well manicured with a good distance away from other campers. Two pools, one for adults, the other children and a hot tub. Ten shower/restrooms that have laundry and a station outside for washing dishes. Overall a very nice campground. My only critique is a little more attention to the restrooms as the garbage was often overflowing. I truly appreciate when a business responds to a review/critique and takes steps measures to make things better. For that, I'm adding a star .

Definitely have to get some homemade pie from the Purple Pie House, blueberry, apple and bumbleberry were delicious warmed ip with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream! It's close to everything we wanted to see. We camped at Custer mountain cabins and campground. It was a gorgeous campground and had some great amenities as well. The employees were absolutely awesomely well. They had a bathhouse with flushing toilets and nice size showers. A campers kitchen with a sink for dishes, microwave, water kettle and a charging station for electronics. There was also a full laundromat. Upon arrival, without notification, they Cabin 7 to someone else. I specifically reserved it for the convenience of easy access and ample room to part both my truck and Harley. When the front desk people told me they moved me to another cabin behind #7, they said someone else needed that cabin because of camping gear and closer trailer access. They cabin they moved me to did not even have enough room for both my bike and truck. When asking for an explanation, Twila, the manager said "I dont like your attitude and if you don't like it, stay somewhere else". Even after reserving a specic cabin with a deposit, they don't care. I traveled all the way from California and Twila knew that finding new accommodations under $1000 a night would be impossible. Never trust the cabin you reserved will be available and be prepared to ask to leave if you dont like it!

Fire rings, volleyball net, propane and excellent water pressure are all big pluses. Two stars are because they say they have WiFi and they do, however it's only available for about 1/2 the property. I complained about it and was told to unplug and enjoy nature and my neighbors. If we had not prepaid our stay we would have been gone. Lots of other parks to choose from in the immediate area. If I didn't feel like I had been conned I would given them 5 stars.

I couldn't believe how spotless the bathrooms were every single time I went in, it was perfect. The electric sites are fairly close together, so if you're looking for more privacy, I'd recommend the walk-in sites. The unfortunate thing about the walk-in sites are the more secluded sites (like #16, #17, and #21) require a bit of an uphill trek. It's not a long walk, but it does take a little bit of effort to get everything up there. That said, Site #21 was one of the best campsites I've ever stayed in, it was worth the extra sweat. The only reason I'm giving this place four stars is because the trail to the walk-in sites is very rough. They do provide a wheelbarrow to help carry your stuff, but the terrain is so rocky that using it seemed like more trouble compared to just walking your stuff up. Overall we enjoyed our stay and everyone was so quiet, it really felt like it was just you in nature.

The only down was loss of water on the day of departure. As we still had a rather full tank, it wasn't all that major for us, but it eould have been if empty & may have been for others. He came out to the RV as we pulled up so that we didn't have to get down and gave me all the paperwork right there and directed me to my site after giving me a brief rundown of the place. I really enjoyed my stay here. The campground was covered in neatly mowed grass and the RV spaces were fairly decent sized. There was a nice fire pit at each site made from an old truck rim (my kids got a kick out of that). The kids were able to play on a playground near the horse stables there. It seemed like a popular place for folks to come and stay who were traveling with their horses. The office was very nice and clean, and Jerry's wife was just as welcoming and professional as he was. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and well-kept. The laundry facility was also nice and clean. We were also told to place our trash bags at the end of our site and that someone would come around in the morning and pick it up for us. How cool!
