Spilled hand sanitizer, which is primarily alcohol, on my interior car leather seat. It looked like I poured Drano on it. The colored clumped together and it looked like someone took a blowtorch to my seat. I was so upset, I was ready to buy a new seat (but after figuring out the price of a new seat cover, I quickly got that out of my mind). Called an auto body shop who then recommended the gold team. Never knew the was such a service, let alone come to your house to do it. Shayne and Stuart showed up and really made the scheduling easy. Again, thought there was no way in the world they were going to be able to fix the seat. It was like watching two surgeons go to work and after they were done I could not have been happier with the results. Color matched, same matte finish, and no sign of the the accident. Hopefully I won't have a mishap like this again, but if I do I will know who to call. Fair price given the time they spent and the care they took with my car, highly recommend. read more

I haven't posted a review yet on Yelp (I usually use Google Maps and leave high reviews), so I am disappointed that my first Yelp review has to be two stars. When I first called Gold Team, I was impressed by their customer service and felt I had called the right place to recondition my Land Rover. I needed the bottom section of the front two seats, the drivers side armrest and the shifter worked on. I was originally quoted a price of $165 for each section. This is, of course, before they looked at the car. I was slightly disappointed when the price for the drivers seat came back at $495 for only the bottom section. I had found a new seat for around $800, but since this was less and I believed the seat would be reconditioned to a good condition, I believed this would still be a better deal. All in all, the final price came back a little over $1,200.00. They did ask for my approval before starting the work, and I did approve it, believing the areas I was having worked on would come out looking really great. I do have to state that their customer service is unmatched- they went to the shop my car was at and did the bulk of the work there. I did not have to schedule any extra time out of my day for the work to be done- so that was excellent. I was slightly uncomfortable with the fact that I was made to pay before the work had been completed. I was fine with placing the 50-ish% deposit, since they did need to purchase some materials, but I would have rather not paid the balance until the work was 100% completed (as every other car shop/ anywhere that works on cars does). I was told I needed to pay the balance after they had 'completed' the drivers seat and passenger seat- days before the drivers armrest and shifter were even in their hands and before I was able to actually see the work. Once the Land Rover left the shop, I had my mom pick up the car and bring it back to her house- Gold Team went there to put in the arm rest and the shifter a few days after I had paid. Easy. It wasn't until a few days later when I was able to actually look at the car. The first thing I noticed was the shifter material wasn't actually attached to the head part- the material was just 'sat up' because the leather is stiff because it's newer but when it gets a little more soft I worry it is not going to stay up at all- not what I was expecting in the least. I, at the least, expected the material to be attached. From the side, you can definitely see it is not connected. I was disappointed but I felt like mistakes can happen. The car went in for suspension repairs after that so I didn't have much time to take a look any further. Yesterday evening, I noticed two main leather pieces on the drivers side bottom were not attached and the stitching had come apart. I literally paid $495 for the bottom section of this seat to be reconditioned so someone please explain why the TWO biggest pieces of this section are not even connected? I hope they are able to correct these errors and make right on their original promises. As of right now, I would not recommend this company to be used for auto upholstery work. I will update the review if this changes. read more

Tyler was absolutely Fantastic! I had my brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO stolen from my own driveway. They ended up damaging my interior with paint and deep scratches, they even burnt holes in my seat. He was so understanding and professional throughout the whole process. The work they did in repairing an old, worn leather car seat was spectacular. I'd called a few places and had some estimates, but none of the other places instilled confidence. Gold Team's can-do attitude won me over at the start. Even under close scrutiny, I can't tell the difference between the original seat cover and the replaced panel. The cost was competitive with others, but the work and service was superlative. read more

Absolutely incredible! Shayne from Gold Team, came out same day and fixed a nic/small flap rip on the leather seat of my $300K Lamborghini Huracan. Color matched it perfect, and only took about an hour. Super courteous and very professional. Definitely keeping their information for future issues with my cars interiors. Cost was very reasonable. They replaced the headliner in my 07 Jaguar XJ8L Vanden Plas. Horrible job; definitely out of their league. First the fabric was a poor color match (didn't match the side panels). Said it was the best they could do (or wanted to do). Probably the only grey fabric they had on hand. When I went to other companies, they showed me at least a dozen greys. It was my choice, not the Gold Teams. They never offer any options. Then the foam backing was 1/4". The original was 1/8". Looks like a memory foam bed and does match the side panels. Poorly adhered to the shell in several places; especially around the indentions for the sun visors. And where the roof meets the side panels, its lumpy and not smooth. A small TEAR in their new fabric at one of the corners of the sunroof. Again, they said that was the best they can do. A tear "Wow"; that's their best. Watch out for this company, they are doing sub-contract work for a lot of repair shops and dealers. Be sure to ask who is going to do the work when you have a repair done; them or a sub-contractor. Advise you "DON'T USE the Gold Team". read more
