The RSO had stopped to assess the situation and ask the shooter to leave - firmly but professionally. That's something that as a regular range shooter I wish I saw more often. I've never seen a hot range there without a RSO, and they've always been making sure that everyone is shooting safely - and I absolutely appreciate it.
