Pretty disappointed. The games there are great but we did the room blackout and someone came into…read moreour room 4 times to fix stuff while playing. I don't understand why they don't just close the room if it's broken. The girl even told us it was broken and they were waiting for parts for it. We never solved the room, nor understood the plot bc they came in so many times to fix puzzles for us or explain to us " you did it right, this was supposed to happen". They felt so bad for us that they gave us the keychain. To be honest I just wish I was refunded or given a different room at that point because I was looking forward to playing so much. I felt like we would have solved the room if we didn't have to use our clues on broken stuff and if things worked like they were supposed to work. Would love to comeback and give it another chance, but I hope they fix stuff first.

Love escape rooms, and great effort put into the rooms. Sadly, some of their equipment is faulty,…read moreand we had to use our clues to figure out how to fix those items. Our directional lock broke, and we ended up not making it through. We decided to try to give it another try. We wanted to use a Groupon, and, unfortunately, the voucher code did not come in time. We called to try to see what to do, and the man on the phone told us to just call back whenever we got the voucher code. We showed up hoping the code came in time, and we're informed when we got there that we had to book an hour ahead no matter what. We offered to purchase on the spot and we're turned away. Understandable, but we are very sad about this experience. Just wish we could have known more ahead of time. Hope this helps someone else.

A difficult start for us, would have helped if we looked a little closer at a couple things. One clue we didn't even see right away even after she told us where to look. The black light is a fun aspect that definitely requires teamwork! Lots of interesting puzzles, such as number locks, keys, codes. We got stuck several times. One step we got stuck on, probably from us pressing buttons too fast or something, so Allison had to play the audio over the speaker. There was one other object we had some issues with because we didn't rotate it enough before setting the correct locations for the item. She actually had to pause the time and come check it out to see why we weren't getting the next step unlocked. We had just enough time to stop the train! Overall, great room, great use of group work at times. We found it helpful to have a cell phone note app open to make a list of items at times, otherwise you're definitely yelling from room to room for multiple steps. Allison was definitely helpful making sure we got through successfully when we got too stumped on what to do. We all had a great time.

Terrible experience at Brighton Escape Room. If you exceed the grace period they will start your game timer. That's fair but not even the case in this situation. Instead our host decided that she would assert her authority as an escape room nazi. Less than one minute in we were scolded for not paying attention to the video. It is apparently against their rules to look around the room and god forbid, don't touch anything before that video ends! That wasn't my experience the last 3 times at this location, but okay we just laughed it off. Later my daughter was yelled at for picking up candles. "Don't touch the candles, they are not part of the game!" Oh, no, someone vaped. Another scolding. This is going to be a long 45 minutes. When we asked for the first clue the response was, "You are not there yet." We had to ask again for some sort of guidance, please. Pretty please? I did not pay $170 to be yelled at and beg for clues. They ended the game with 1:30 left on the timer. We let ourselves out. When I asked the lady at the desk to please tell me the name of the host, I was immediately met with confrontation. "Is this about the vaping?" No, I respect that, this is about the host's poor attitude and complete lack of customer service. She still refused to give her name -actually said it's confidential but a good host introduces themselves to their guests, right? Now I'm told her rude behavior was justified because we started the game before watching the video when we were specifically told not to! I'm a bit taken aback by this response. Not only were my concerns completely dismissed but now I am being scolded again! By this time I've gone from annoyed to irritated. Long story short, the staff ruined what should have been a fun experience. The game was fun, challenging and well designed with interesting props but the Manager, Morgan and the host, Allison could benefit from basic customer service training. The lady who refused to give the name of the host was the manager and instead of acknowledging my concern, she accused us of wrong doing. It was bizarre. Don't waste your money here. There are plenty of other escape rooms, some with staff who actually enhance your experience and management that knows how to handle customer feedback professionally.

This is the second escape room I've done in town and this one is my favorite so far. The room we…read moredid was spy themed, which was super fun and the props and clues all went well with the theme. This was one element that was done better here than the other room I've done elsewhere. The room was $25 per person, which I prefer to having a flat fee for the entire room, and you are always in a private room with just your group (whereas some places will fill the whole room with additional people). The value for the cost is well worth it, due to some elements of the room. I can't go into much more detail than that so I don't give anything away! Your guide is not in the room with you, which was also a difference from the other escape room I've done. It was fun to have the clues on the screen. You get unlimited clues, and all were very helpful. We had a group of six people and we were just getting the door open as time ran out. It was exhilarating, challenging but not frustratingly so, and really well done. I will definitely go back to do the other room and they were working on a third room as well.

We had 4 doctors, a nurse and a teacher in our group, so we thought we would surely get through with no help with that much education in one room. 6 hints later and 50 secs to spare, we made it. We laughed a ton and thought the hour went by extremely fast. Two things that are nice about this place are that you don't share the room with other parties and the game master isn't in the room with you! Can't wait to go back and try the other room.
