So, when I heard there was a Sultan Centre in Vanier, I had to go and check it out. Wow, talk about bitter disappointment. The Ottawa Sultan Centre was in fact, the Sun-tan Centre, a tanning place. It is a tiny little place off Montreal Road that offers tanning and, weirdly enough, fax and photocopy services???? Talk about taking brand extension a little too far. It is quite reasonable, for the tanning, but caveat emptor!

The way it works here is that you don't pay by the minute you pay by the session you also can go how many minutes you want and the price difference does not change. If you live here and you are looking to come here very often I would suggest you go for the $59 a month membership that will include unlimited sessions a month but it is a six month commitment. To be honest with you it's a really good deal as you can go as often as you want and you can choose how many minutes you want as well. There is a catch you can only go 15 minutes maximum which is very much in general you don't need to go more as the beds Are very powerful and do the job very great. I believe the beds are super high end as they even have a face tanning section and lights for your body into separate sections attached to the bed it's very rare to find these nowadays but this place is super up-to-date and modern. are very powerful and do the job very great. Because I don't tan easily and wouldn't want to try a tanning bed - with all of the scares about skin cancer my friend told me about spray tanning. I have to admit I was skeptical at first but a few days later I saw this spray tan company pitch on Dragons Den I thought let me try and see if they are in Ottawa. I found out they were so I sent them a message. I had a lot of questions. They reassured me about what the outcome would be and guaranteed me I would not be orange. Charlene emailed me instructions on how to prepare for my appointment which is basically wax or shave at least 8 hours before and exfoliate and shower right before my application. I was able to get my appointment the very next day and since I was ready when she arrived and had a perfect spot ready for her to set up she didn't waste any time. My appointment was at 6 and she was out by 6:25 leaving me to let my tan dry. She was very friendly and reassured me before the service. I needed it since I was nervous at first. The actual service was easy and she has the technique down pat that I'm not having to worry about any missed areas. Would def recommend spray tanning to any skeptic. The colour is natural and organic and its so nice to have a tan. I just feel like I look better and healthier ! My second appointment was just as seamless

On each occasion, we arrive surprised by the location of this spa, then remember we have been there before, and become impressed by the fact that they are doing well based on their rather challenging location. Then we go in for our services and are reminded why they are doing so well - the practitioners are great! Each experience we have had here has been delightful: we are welcomed with a drink, the front staff are all very polite and friendly, and the practitioners are very professional. We have had pedicures, body treatments, and massages, and we have left each time feeling very pleased. The only reason we are not regulars, is the location. For us, it's on the opposite end of town, it requires a rather awkward u-turn to get into the mall, and while we are super pleased with the services, the actual spa space could use a bit of a facelift (but that's minor in the grand scheme of things).

The people who have been there for at least the past 2 years have been great. You can walk in and they know exactly who you are despite not going in for months. They know what you need. How long you need and they know what's best for you. In all honesty I forgot I had written such a crappy review and frankly regret it. This place is and will be one of the best tanning experiences you will have. They are knowledgeable and will always offer you the best advice. It is a strong recommendation from me.
