However after my last interaction over the phone with some gentleman, I will not be spending my money there anymore. Called about some gold grams and was going to buy all the had. Asked him when I come in to buy if he could test a gold piece I had bought previously from somewhere else. He got a very bad attitude with me and was very rude. Even offered to pay for the testing. The nice women working there never had an issue doing this for me beforehand. Seems like a terrible way to treat a frequent paying customer. Plenty of other shops I've been to that are glad to test pieces for me and have cheaper premiums. That man should stay home and let the ladies handle customers.

As my grandmother used to say, "Oh! Mr. Truver is the best!"…read more First off, I've been going to Truver's for 10+ years. My experiences have given me friends, both gemstone and human. Fixes are quick, and very reasonably priced. Purchases are always easy, and fair. Everyone working there is great. It's like, I can't find anything wrong there. I just stopped in today to drop off a couple things that need to be spruced up. It's super nice to have a relationship with a jeweler you can trust. Rob does most of the fixes in house himself, and his work is always BEAUTIFUL quality. Anything I've received from other chain jewelry stores usually needs something done to it at some point, and even though protection plans usually have come with the gifts I've gotten, I will always take them to Rob. They come back in better shape than when I first got them. Prices are right, and everything is usually ready to be picked up in a week or two. I also got all my daily jewels cleaned today. They're ridiculously sparkly right now, and it makes me feel so much better when they're cleaned and checked over. Stop in and see them sometime. You won't be disappointed! The store is super clean and beautifully arranged, Barb always greets you with a smile, and you might leave with a new sparkly best friend! They have super unique stuff that you won't find in most stores. It's nice to know that what you buy is not something from the "open heart" collection or something. HIGHLY recommend. Can't say enough good things!

My main goal was to learn more about constitutional silver, and they took the time to walk me through the details, answer questions, and explain things in a way that was easy to understand without ever feeling pushy or sales-focused. They had a great selection available, and the pricing felt very fair and transparent compared to other shops I've visited. It's clear they care about educating customers and building trust rather than just making a quick sale. This is easily one of the top local coin shops I've visited in Pennsylvania. Highly recommend stopping in whether you're new to precious metals or already experienced. I will definitely be back.
