I see a couple of 1 stars and some serious criticisms, but not only was I immensely happy with how I was treated but I immediately felt impressed with the honesty of the gentleman who helped me. The office was very clean, nicely decorated and certainly gave the impression of being treated honestly. Everything was explained to me in detail. I was told what to expect from their testing, what the daily price of gold, and silver was. I had already looked up those prices for that day as well as weighed my jewelry and Gold Rush was spot on! I received cash for the jewelry - immediately. Another thing, at no time was any piece out of my sight; each piece was handled separately, nothing was ever picked up in multiples or groups. I was referred to Gold Rush Denver and not only was I pleaseantly greeted, but actually knew that I was not going to be taken advantage of. Late August 2021, I had a most excellent and educational experience at both the Lakewood and Denver locations of Gold Rush Gold, Silver & Diamond Buyers. Nick (Lakewood) educated me on their process for testing and measuring precious metals and golds, and both locations tested right in front of me. Nick even suggested that it would probably be better for me to sell my two estate diamond rings privately to get better value (the individual diamonds were too small for Gold Rush to value separate from the gold bands upon which they were attached). And both Nick and Dutch provided me great value for the silver, gold, and one diamond necklace I did sell. Both took their time with me, and I highly recommend this business! read more

We decided to get married at the last minute and needed some spending money for our honeymoon. I had some old jewellery and took it to the pawn shop first and was pretty disappointed. Then I went to see Bruce in Aurora. He not only explained everything he was doing but he also taught me all about the jewelry business, which i loved. Then he offered me 75 more dollars than they did. That made a huge difference to us and we really appreciated the extra attention and cash! My sister and I inherited some of our Mom's jewelry that really didn't fit our styles, but we'd never sold anything like this before. Brandon (usually at the Centennial location) was terrific! He explained everything he was doing and did all tests right in front of me, which was good because two earrings we thought were silver turned out to be much more valuable 18K white gold! The amount of money offered was based on weight since they melt it all down. (If you want more because it's a famous designer or special design then this probably isn't the place.) Stop! Don't go anywhere else! I went to the Aurora location and Bruce was not only knowledgeable and friendly, but gave me an education about diamonds and precious metals that was stellar. He gave me a very fair price and was honest, which is rare these days. I have been to several jewelry buyers and Bruce at the Aurora location is easily the nicest, most professional and most ethical person that I have dealt with. I actually visited the Aurora location, it was not at all like I had imagined. A very nice office with a very professional atmosphere. I did not wait long to meet with Bruce and while he assessed my goods we sat and chatted. He was very personable and honest about my goods...I walked out with more cash than I thought I would. What I was most impressed with was that Bruce helped an older woman who he was waiting on before me carry all of her parcels that she could not sell to the thrift store down the street.
