The jewler there informed me that my band was resized with silver and not my white gold and that is why the band was dark at the bottom. I couldnt believe it. Why would they do that? We took it down the street to F.A.O. Jewelers. They were in awe. We dropped it off yesterday morning and by 4pm today they had it done. Completely re-soldered and looks perfect. And of all the things that could add to my conundrum this was during peak COVID season so to speak. Governor had all the stores shut and well .. here I was ! I reached out to a few jewelers who couldn't be bothered to get back to me and or couldn't work within the timeline constraints I had placed myself in ( totally get it, but hey what's a guy to do) but Rottermond saves the day. From zoom calls to FaceTime and talking me through the process and explaining every little detail as many times as I would ask them (because let's face it, this isn't an every day purchase, ) to making sure I was truly satisfied with the final product in person the staff at Rottermond went above and beyond every step of the way. I think they must have shown me close to a hundred rings going back and forth and back again before we streamlined it down to the final few and they probably did that a dozen times.
