Excellent environment, great selection of hair and cosmetics, great customer service.

I typically like this place but today they upset me. I raced over here to buy one thing. I knew exactly what I wanted. I arrived 5 minutes before they closed, which I know can be annoying, but I literally could have been in & out in 3 minutes. They wouldn't let me in because they had already counted the drawer. I have worked retail & I know it can be annoying when people come in late, but I honestly thought that they were open until 7. I like their products but probably won't come back. read more

After reading reviews I decided to visit with caution. It was great! The store is smaller but has a decent selection. Staff was also kind and friendly. read more

This establishment had a wig that I actually liked, but I declined purchasing it because of the poor customer service I received. One woman was on her phone & pointed me down to the next register when I approached her register to buy a wig cap. Another woman basically decided not to help me when I asked her a question 2 different times. It was 9am in the morning on a Thursday morning, so the store wasn't booming with business. However, it was the worst service I recall ever getting from this Gold Beauty Supply honestly. It could've just been an off day or maybe people hadn't had their morning coffee, but either way, I'm writing this review in hopes that the poor service is addressed & that the staff gets coached. read more

Being truthful when they make a mistake. What I paid was not much but the fact I clearly asked and had just walked out and realized it was the wrong thing and then was told I could only do an exchange. Not to mention the young lady lied and said she was the only manager and the owner only comes in periodically. Golds sucks that's why I go to USA Beauty Supply! read more

I recently purchased 2 bundles of what I "thought" was 100% virgin HUMAN hair . Body wave. The packaging advised it could be dyed bleached or permed . I installed the hair blow dried the curls straight. I then proceeded to use my flat irons . With the 1st pass I noticed a few strands of hair . I went to another section and again I noticed residue and what looked to be melted hair on my flat irons. Please remove this from your shelves as this is a misrepresentation of the product you are advertising . I'd ask for my money back but the receipt advised no refund in bold letters . This should have been my 1st and last red flag. BUYERS BEWARE ! read more

This is one of the main beauty supply stores I frequent due to their customer service, cleanliness and organization of products. I absolutely love this store!!! read more

This is my favorite beauty supply store in the whole DFW metroplex! It so well kept, well stocked, and well managed. The prices are unbeatable. Not sure what shade of matte lipstick you want to try next? Why not get it all, since it's so affordable! I've never had an issue with the staff because I personally have never needed any assistance since everything is well organized and easy to find. I'd rather get lost in it all the products at my own leisure. Christmas is just around the corner, so what better place than here to get all your stocking stuffer essentials?! They have a lot of good quality wigs that would be a great alternative for Halloween as well!  I'm glad this place is in business because I will forever be a loyal customer! read more

The workers in here are Trash with a capital T. Rude and talk to customers any kind of way. If you don't like your job, then you need to go into a different kind of business. Coming to work everyday and trying to make customers as miserable as you- is not a good look at all. They will never have to worry about me stepping foot in that store again. read more

Not sure what some of these other reviews are talking about. Not my experience at all. They have great prices and exceptional customer service. Highly recommended read more

The first thing I want to comment on is the incredible selection. Cant find anywhere else like it in Dallas! The customer service was definitely not the experience I had mentioned in the other review. If you need anything for hair or cosmetics this is the place where you'll find it for a reasonable price. read more

Large selection. You can honestly find anything you'd need here but at the expense of poor customer service. The owner has only employed Hispanic ladies for a beauty supply store catering predominantly to black ladies hair needs. They always seem annoyed with the customers and never really know what I'm talking about as far as products. read more

Needed merchandise to take back to family members across the globe. Best selection. Affordable price. Great and attentive staff. Parking is easy. Found everything i needed in one store. I didnt have to run around dallas to look. I was shocked at the low price at checkout. Such a great deal read more

I am a professional hairstylist and the treatment whether I'm a hairstylist or not was very unprofessional you have young workers in here that is unappreciative. If you're providing service you have to be attentive to your customers regardless of if they hold a license or if you're servicing the public and the treatment was very unprofessional you may need to consider hiring someone that's appreciative of having a job read more

This is to the owner Paul I came into Gold beauty supply today. 3/10 @ 4:41 PM I have been coming there for over 30 year. your staff are rude and very unprofessional Jennifer. And there was another one at the register with a pink mask she was FAT. she was very RUDE. you need to look into a whole new staff Theses uneducated cashier are what ever you call them really need to watch how they speak to customer. I kep my cool but if she they had caught on a bad day this episode wo have turned out badly because I will not be disrespected. I will tell Girl talk and other salon not to use Gold also my family member. if your reading this find a different beauty supply to go to PLEASE DO NOT USE Gold Beauty supply read more

I'm shocked that it has bad reviews. As soon as I walked in,I was greeted. I've always came to Gold Beauty and their cheap. When I left they greeted me by saying bye.please go their. It's very affordable and the employees are very nice. So: don't be fooled by the bad reviews. U should really go and see. They have a true customer now! read more

This store has a big variety of products! It's a one stop shop for cosmetics, hair products, and even jewelry! They have many options for hair extensions in terms of brands and prices! I took my friends here and they all love it! You also can't beat their eyelash prices!!! I recommend this beauty supply! read more

This store is great they have good quality lashes for a great price. I will be coming here again, great staff ! Love their skin care products too ! read more

Horrible horrible place to shop. Was told I was able to return something, no joke, I come back 20 mins later because I changed my mind. The manager said no refunds. The salesman specifically said I could return them as long as they weren't tampered with. Which they were. Tried to offer me store credit. Don't even want to shop there again!!! Do not shop here. read more

Omg love coming here to get my lashes! They have trendy styles and great prices, they also have great korean skin care products at such a great price! It's so hard to find actual korean products and they have them here ! The owners are so friendly and have great staff who can help you find exactly what you're looking for ! read more

The employees are always so rude!! I honestly can't believe the owners let them act this way! That's ashamed bc I shop there a lot and it always different ppl. They act like they don't like their job. You try to ask for help or a simple question and there's ALWAYS a sarcastic, snide remark from them. They need some training on how to treat customers. There's maybe two of them that are nice. I spend my money there and can't even get decent customer service!! read more

Horrible. They close at 6 and I just arrived at 5:55 and the cashier says that they cannot let anyone else in because they have people in line. I explained that I just needed to grab some lashes and they refused to provide service. I'm sure she is not the owner so I don't understand why she made the decision to close early and refuse service to loyal paying customers! I do not recommend...two thumbs down for poor customer service read more

I want to tell everyone that I possibly can on social media about Golds Beauty supply only hiring Hispanics. I witnessed this. This past Easter weekend. Their store customers are 90 percent black and only Hispanics are working there. And don't you dare say blacks don't want those jobs. read more

Okay, I've been shopping here for years and everything was great until TODAY. I bought a wig but didn't like how the cap was constructed. Mind you, this wig was not worn, and barley even touched. It has all the orginal packaging and is even still connected to the plastic hooks you have to take out to use it. I called and the lady who answered heard me out and said it was okay for me to exchange. However I had to wait because I work many days in a row. Anywho, I went there today and got 2 more wigs makeup and others things. Well when I got to the counter the woman behind it wouldn't exchange it. I told her that I called and she said her 'manager' said she couldn't. So I asked could I speak to the 'manager'. So she came I over and I explained again what happened. She then says I can talk the the manger when he comes back. At this point, I don't know who is the manger because I thought I was speaking to the manager. I asked if he was in break and they said 'I don't know, he went to the store or something.' That seemed odd to me, because usually managers/bosses tell their employees if they're going to lunch or how long they will be gone. Anywho, I spoke to another employee about it, a few minutes later and said she could take it back. However the 'manager' or who ever she is, ran up to her and said I couldn't do it and started talking and yelling in Spanish. So I'm like okay, either take it back or I can wait, because at this point Its ridiculous. I asked for the mangers name first and last name because I had to leave, and she said and I quote 'His name is Paul but that's all he tells us we don't know'. In my head I'm like you could've just said i can't give that out, but don't lie. I know this was long, but I'm just irritated at this store. It used to be great but not any more. read more

Their selection of good natural or virgin hair is all behind their sales counter and their customer service is very lacking. Either they are non-qualfied and are just trying to push hair onto you without caring if it's what you are looking for or their English needs a lot of improvement. The only reason I am giving them a 2 star is because their product pricing is better than most. But do not shop there for hair unless you have already picked it out somewhere else and you are price shopping. read more

they do need to have black women there to help black women it make's sense.and their attitude is not something you want to deal with when your spending you money, i got the impression that they did not want to be bothered with you as if they think they are some how better than you, its hard enough that we have to buy are hair products from people who do not know any thing about are hair needs its hard to just get what you need and get out,now i know how are ancestor felt when they had to go to the store in town to buy the thing they needed.so to round this hole thing up.we need a beauty supply store that caters to the black community. black owned read more
