Their customer service is top‑tier, and their pricing is extremely fair -- far better than what I found anywhere else. I recently had to sell items from an estate, and they made the entire process unbelievably easy. Sure enough, Southern Ohio Gold Guns and Pawn gave me the best offers by far. I cannot recommend them enough. If you want honesty, expertise, and outstanding service, this is the place to go.

NEVER EVER ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY…read more Ordered a ring a month ago...said that I would receive a confirmation when it was ready to ship. Never received any notifications and getting nervous that I had been scammed as it had been some time, I emailed Robin James Jewelers requesting the status of the ring. 3 days later I receive an email from them advising that the ring had been sold prior to my purchase and was discontinued from the vendor. Whoops?!?! Do you think they would have mentioned this maybe immediately after I purchased it??? Maybe an email letting me know?? Had I not inquired about the status I may never would have known? Horrible customer service and obviously incompetent with keeping track of their sales and inventory. Don't waste your time.

Shulz Jewelers…read more Many years ago when Schulz was located in Covington, Kentucky, they were the place to buy jewelry or get a clock or watch fixed. The old man had come from Germany where he was a jeweler and he was the best. Now they are located in Ft. Mitchell and the old man is long gone. I took a watch there to get a new battery and they said I had to leave it for a week before they could give me an estimate as to how much it would cost to repair. I was also told it never actually takes a week. They never called as promised. I was told it would cost round $250.00 to repair and I would have to wait another 5 to 7 weeks. In the past they charged me $125.00 for a new crystal. Another jeweler I found charges $50.00. I finally got it back after 10 days and took it to another jeweler. The new jeweler replaced the battery for $15.00 and said that an insulator was blocking the battery, which probably occurred when Shulz first looked at it. The new jeweler fixed it. Fifteen dollars and 15 minutes not $250.00 and seven weeks. Times have certainly changed.

While visiting Cincinnati, I stopped by this shop to replace a bracelet and was shocked by the…read moreblatant lack of customer service. When I walked in, I was completely ignored. A few minutes later, two women entered and were immediately greeted and offered help. The double standard was obvious. Only after my expression made it clear I was unimpressed did the employee finally say something -- claiming the other women had an appointment. That excuse doesn't change the fact that I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in. Greeting a customer takes seconds, and the indifference I experienced spoke volumes. I make it a point to support small, local businesses when I travel, but this kind of dismissive and selective service is unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers, I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.
