The store is very well laid out, it feels very roomy and very easy to navigate. Foot Locker is a sportswear and footwear retailer, with its headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, and operating in 28 countries. A piece of trivia that many might not know......though established in 1974, and founded as a separate company in 1988, Foot Locker's roots date to 1879, as it is a successor corporation to the F. W. Woolworth Company ("Woolworth's"), as many of its freestanding stores were Kinney Shoes and Woolworth's locations. The company operates the eponymous "Foot Locker" chain of athletic footwear retail outlets (along with "Kids Foot Locker" and "Lady Foot Locker" stores), and other athletic-based divisions including Champs Sports, Footaction USA, House of Hoops, and Eastbay/Footlocker.com, which owns the rights to Final-Score. The company is also famous for its employees' uniforms at its flagship Foot Locker chain, resembling those of referees. Their clothing is good quality and value, provides a full range of cute baby and children's clothing, gifts and accessories. I walked into Carter's and an employee welcomed me and asked if I needed help with anything. Boys apparel is on the left and girls apparel is on the right. There were items for 40% off and clearance items near the back of the store were Buy One, Get One. It was a great bargain especially since I needed to purchase some outfits for my friend's baby shower present. At checkout, I provided my phone number and was already a member of Carter's Rewards, a free loyalty program. With the loyalty program, you can earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on Carter's, OshKosh B'gosh, Skip Hop and Little Planet products. With 100 points, you can get a $5 reward. When I looked at my receipt, I noticed I was charged $0.10 for a bag. The employee didn't ask if I needed a bag. I would have said no, because I have a collapsible reusable tote.
