I also wasn't in the mood to drive to Johnston to Yorkers Shoes (but is closed on Sundays anyways) and Rhode Runner is a pain for parking on North Main St - so my purposes on short notice and a whim, Savon Shoes stepped up and helped me out today! Not many sales items the last time I stopped by, but they do have a large selection of styles and colors. New Balance has been an independent shoe retailer since 1906, so they have a long history of crafting running shoes for everyone in the family. Lots of options.

I certainly understand the commission aspect of it, but even taking that into account there really isn't a need for that many people in such a small store. They have a handful of different sweaters and a dozen or so sneakers, so again, don't go in expecting a huge selection. Overall, I don't know if I'd come back, the selection is limited and the prices while fair, aren't something to entice me. And, its slightly annoying to be bothered by multiple people while there.
