If you're thinking about skydiving, this is definitely the place to do it! My friend and I went to go jump Oceanside on a Friday and had the best time. I definitely recommend requesting Kale as your instructor!! Having a good instructor can really make or break an experience you might be nervous for and kale was absolutely AMAZING!! I felt completely safe and confident the entire time because of his kind words. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I went skydiving for my 27th birthday! This was the best experience ever !!! I want to find a reason to do it again! if you're thinking of doing it, request Kale! He was my tandem instructor and he gave great & clear instructions & he's been doing this for years! It seems scary & intimidating but this was the best thing I did for myself !

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The girl in the front checking us in was a doll, I can't remember her name, but she has curly brown hair. My instructor, Fred was absolutely amazing. From the second, I met him he was making me feel comfortable and cracking jokes. He reviewed the instructions with me over and over again and made sure that I was understanding of what I needed to do when we got on the plane, to when we landed. He is a sweetheart, and I highly recommend him, especially if it's your first time! Also, my friends's instructor was super rad and really enjoyed him as well. I don't remember his name, but he is from New Zealand! All in all this place was incredible and I can't wait to go back.!

I survived it!!!!!

10/10 would jump out of a plane again -- and yes, I did it on purpose. Did my first skydive in Oceanside, and from the moment I arrived, the vibe was pure thrill meets chill. The staff were so calm and cheerful -- which is impressive considering their day job involves tossing people out of planes at 13,000 feet. My tandem instructor was a legend. He kept me grounded (emotionally) while we prepared to leave the ground (literally). Clear instructions, cool as ice, and somehow got me to smile while freefalling at terminal velocity. The jump? Absolutely insane -- in the best way. Mouth went dry instantly, brain went "what are we doing?!" but my soul said "FINALLY." When that parachute opened, peace hit like a California sunset. Wrapped it all up thinking, "I'm never doing that again." Five minutes later: books second jump. Thanks, Oceanside crew, for making me feel like a sky goddess with a sense of humor. See you in the clouds again soon!

The entire experience was INCREDIBLE. The staff was cool, professional, safe, and fun! Our group of 10 all had a great time. I got the Gold photo/Video package. Well worth the $$. Not only did I have all the pix/vids within 15 minutes of leaving, they edited the vids from every angle and sent waaay more pix than I imagined. I had Nadal for my tandem jump master but can't remember the cool gal's name that did the external helmet cam. Both were Badass! HIGHLY RECOMMEND GO JUMP OCEANSIDE!

Very fun! I got Starkey. He is very efficient so he is in and out of there very quickly. What a mind blowing and memorable experience

This was a totally last-minute decision--I hadn't planned on jumping, but I took my daughter and her best friend for the experience. While we were checking in, Maria, one of the friendly staff at the front counter, noticed I wasn't planning to jump. She asked why and reassured me about the safety and how incredible the experience really is. Her confidence was contagious, and before I knew it, I decided to go for it! They had lockers to use for free to put all personal items keys purses, etc. There are various gear you can purchase such as T-shirts, hats, etc. along with snacks and drinks. After signing up, they handed me a slip with my name and some basic info. The waiting area was an outdoor patio with comfy furniture, tables, and benches--perfect for relaxing while we waited. The restroom was in a separate building, very clean, though it could use a bit more lighting. The wait wasn't long. Soon, they called out the names of those boarding the next plane. We moved to another outdoor waiting area where each tandem instructor began calling their partners. If you opted for photos and video (which I highly recommend), the videographer took a picture of your slip with their GoPro to match the footage later. My tandem instructor was Zach--and let me tell you, he was amazing. Super friendly and professional, he walked me through everything step by step. As he helped me into the harness, he explained each part of the process, always letting me know where he was placing his hands to ensure I was comfortable. We even had a casual chat about our lives, which really helped calm my nerves. He shared his skydiving experience and how many jumps he's done, which gave me even more confidence. Before boarding the plane, Zach explained exactly what to expect during the jump and how we'd be seated. He reassured me that if I forgot anything, he'd guide me through it. Throughout the prep and flight, he kept recording and made sure to include my daughter and her friend in the video--even though they had their own. He was intentional about capturing every moment, constantly snapping photos and videos of us. On the plane, Zach kept me informed about every step--when he was connecting our harnesses, adjusting straps, and what to expect next. Right before the jump, he reviewed the process again, including how I should position myself and when he'd be able to talk to me (not during free fall, but once the parachute opened). When it was time to jump, he gave me one last reassuring word: "I've got you. You're going to do great." And then--we jumped. It was absolutely incredible. The free fall was exhilarating, but surprisingly calm and smooth. Just like Zach said, everything happened exactly as he described. Once the parachute opened, he started chatting again, guiding us through gentle turns to show me the stunning views--the ocean, the hills, the city below. It was breathtaking. As we floated down, Zach explained how we'd land and even did a practice run mid-air. The actual landing? Smooth. At the end of the jump you take a short shuttle ride from the landing site to the Main building. Once inside the building the instructor will find out and hand you a certificate to show your jump information(who your instructor was, date, altitude of jump) When I finally got the photos and video, I was blown away. Zach captured every special moment perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. If you're thinking about skydiving, do it--and if you can, request Zach. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I went there with my daughter and they handled everything so smooth. Without waiting too long we finally did our first jump. Thank you Sean for your patience and kindness. I told you that's probably a one time thing now I feel like I want to do it again but with a helmet so my face and ears covered so I can enjoy more. Again thank you Sean for bringing me down safely and GOJump for making it possible for me to do my very first jump.

It was the first jump of my life, and I was incredibly nervous -- I think I was shaking so much that it even passed on to my instructor! It's not easy to calm me down, but my instructor, Zach, managed to do it! He kept me positive, was very calm and professional, and I made the decision to fully trust him -- I never once regretted it! These are the kinds of emotions everyone should experience at least once in their life!

I did a skydive on my birthday month and didn't regret at all. This was a fun and memorable experience. I had David as my instructor and he is very knowledgeable and helpful with going over the details right before the jump. Don't forget to take some good pose for the video and smile for the camera.

One of the best experiences of my life skydiving here at GoJump Oceanside. I came with my family during Memorial Day weekend, so it was a bit packed and the traffic was pretty bad getting to the location (driving from San Bernardino), however after calling the location there was no issue with our late arrival. After arriving we needed to sign a few waivers and were asked to wait since they had fallen behind schedule due to the weather that morning. Just outside they had plenty of space to sit and watch the planes take off and view others coming down. We ended up packing our lunch and this was the perfect time to enjoy it while waiting. Eventually we were called to get harnessed and go over a few last minute things. The tandem jumpers were all very friendly and supportive with it being our first time. We opted for the video package which I would recommend to anyone who is only planning to skydive once. Our instructors had go-pros they used to document the whole experience from start to finish and the video quality was fantastic. I would highly recommend anyone looking to try skydiving to come here!

Hello! Our Las Vegas location does have a freefall university where you can receive your A license. All the information is available on our website. You can also call us to chat!

I am 16 years old right now. Can I go skydiving with parents' consent?

No, unfortunately, you have to be 18 years old to skydive in the U.S. It's impossible for a person under 18 years old to go skydiving in the U.S. even with their parents' consent. This is due to liability issues.

It says there's a $50 nonrefundable deposit when I tried booking. Is this only applied if you fail to show up?

The deposit is non-refundable for any reason. Sometimes you'll have to reschedule due to weather. When this happens some people forget about the deposit. They try to get a full refund.

What if it rains?

Then you can either reschedule your jump or you can wait out the weather to see if it clears up. They won't send you up until it's safe :) happy flying

Are customers allowed to wear GoPros?

No skydiver with fewer than 200 skydives can jump with a camera.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable. It is a little chilly up there so I would suggest a light jacket or sweatshirt. And just make sure you wear closed toed shoes that won't fly off!

What are the prices for video/photography options?

Look on their website. It's listed there.

Hi! I've called a few times and have left a message and was just wondering if calling or emailing is better to get into contact ? I know this is a very busy company but I just had a few questions. Thank you so much !

Can a group of three people be on the same plane when they jump?

Yes! I went with two of my friends and we were all on the same plane.

Pacific Coast Skydiving personnel was so great! Rosie was always available via phone when I called about what to wear, can I have friends come and watch, can I make video changes because the songs were not right, etc and she was very professional and friendly, and just a sweet person. My tandem skydiver was Phil. He was awesome! We had a great conversation (limited due to the noise level of the plane), and he just made it a fun experience. He did allow me to pull the cords to make it the skydiving parachuted turn-- which my stomach couldn't handle. The video recording and photos were definitely worth the price. I couldn't get enough of watching the video over and over and over again! I loved it! I do recommend for those who get motion sickness easily to 1) wear sea bands and 2) take Dramamine. My husband recommends: 1) wear those silicone earplugs that you insert in your ears because the airplane is really loud and was painful for my husband who also has tinnitus in the ear. Also, the harness was tighten too much on his legs that he felt his leg nerves were in a lot of pain. Overall, I highly recommend Pacific Coast Skydiving and would do it again!

I was super excited and wasn't afraid at all but if you are scared, they'll put you at ease. I jumped with Simeon and he was fantastic. He's very funny and was cracking jokes the whole time to make you feel comfortable. The jumpers have a lot of experience too, so there's no need to feel worried or scared. ---- How it worked: - The process is arrive 30 minutes early from the booking time - Go thru the gate, they text you the code either the day before or the morning of - Park and walk up to the seating area and building where you are greeted by the staff and jumpers - You fill out liability forms and sign waivers - Then you pay the remaining amount - Next they put the harness on you and then trained on what to do when you jump - Then they film some footage of you, walk to the plane, and take off - They film bits and pieces throughout the entire process like during the walk to the plane, on the plane ride up, and on the jump down - You fly up for a few minutes maybe like 10ish minutes, maybe less? During the flight they pointed out some places like the Mexico border and some prisons, they also open up the door so you can get a better view - It's very, very loud on the plane especially when they open the door, so if possible I'd ask if they have ear plugs or if you can bring your own - Once you reach closer to the altitude, they attach onto your harness, put on the goggles, then they open the door and you jump! - They let you steer the parachute a little bit and you can do spins, but if your like me and get motion sickness I'd recommend taking some medicine before hand or skip the spins haha - On the landing, you keep your legs up until they tell you to walk/run - On the ground, they detach from you, remove the harness, then you hop into their van to drive a couple minutes back to the building area you arrived at - They compile the footage from their GoPros into a short video to preview which took a few minutes - You have the option to buy the photos and videos at the end of the jump or if you want to decide later, they say they save all the footage just in case ---- My only gripe is that the plane ride up was reallyyy loud and I have sensitive ears, they didn't give any protection like ear plugs unfortunately, so my ears were hurting a bit during the ride :( beside that everything was very quick and great ---- Other notes: - The entire process from arrival to finishing watching the videos of the jump was around an hour - They said be prepared to spend 2 hours there but I think that's if there are larger groups of jumpers, we had the 10am appointment and were the first ones there so it was really quick - In their waiting area there's a lot of tables and a ping pong table as well - There are 2 bathrooms available and a water dispenser if you're thirsty ---- Overall: A fun experience to check off the bucket list, there's no reason to be scared, great staff and jumpers, ask about ear protection tho! Shoutout to Simeon :)
