Another round in the sky!!! Couldn't resist the adrenaline - back at it again, this time with the wife by my side! Skydiving over San Diego ... nothing compares to that rush, the dream, and the freedom of flying. Andy and Rosie run an awesome crew... Kudos again to Simeon, and my spouse's instructor - Larry. Tried to "upgrade" with my own goggles... yeah, bad idea. They slipped the whole way down and basically wrecked the jump video . Lesson learned. Oh well - memories over footage! ‍

Wonderful Experience at Pacific Coast Skydiving The team was friendly, communicative, and safety-focused. They kept us updated on weather and treated us like friends. The vibe was joyful and welcoming, perfect for my daughter's first jump. Highly recommend!

AMAZING! Staff was great! Everyone was so friendly and upbeat, which made the experience a lot less scary for me. This was my first time skydiving and I'm so happy I chose to go with PCS! James and Dylan were absolutely awesome and hilarious and straight up, i just had the best time. I would go again no doubt 10/10.

This is the 2nd year in a row that I jumped with Pacific Coast and it was amazing. Everyone was friendly, helpful and just made it fun. They spend plenty of time making sure you know what to expect, and the jump crew is world class! I jumped with Sim both times and he makes it fun too! The view to the drop zone was 2nd to none with Mexico on the left side of the plane and the San Diego skyline on the right.

Came in yesterday very anxious but the staff made me feel so comfortable right away! Everything from the check-in, all the way to the landing was super easy and I couldn't have asked for a better first experience. Dylan was great at cracking jokes to calm the nerves and answered all 100 of my questions with no hesitation. I even got my photos and video back the same day! I would recommend this place to anyone considering skydiving. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much again for my making my birthday unforgettable!!

This was an amazing experience that I had the privilege to share with my two daughters! From the moment we arrived we have been warmly greeted and welcomed by the crew and Andy, the owner, kindly and funnily explained us what would have happened. Flying up was great as we could see the Mexican border, the mountains, downtown San Diego and the ocean before heading back to reach the desired altitude. Adrenaline was at the top and Andy guided me and the jump was amazing. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a one in a lifetime experience. Thank you Andy and to all the team!

Ask the Community - Pacific Coast Skydiving

Can my family watch from DZ?

Yes, you can bring as many people to watch you jump

Can we wear our glasses when we jump?

Unless you have a skydiving helmet to put over your glasses, then no. They provide goggles.

If I do the video, are pictures are included?

No. They are separate. I just bought the video and did screen shots for my pictures. Jump was 169. And the video was 59. And AMAZING

How early in advance should I rsvp?

Really depends on the day ,but will be safe I always say a week in advance . That way you have plenty of spots to choose from

How long does the free fall last? And how long approx is the entire jump?

The entire experience from the time you get there to the time you are back at your car was bout 1.5 hour. The going up the air and then jumping about 6-9 minutes, and the actual jump about 1 minute. That's what I remember - everything goes too fast.… Read more

Does anyone know how I can save the video from the CD on my Mac? i'd like to upload some of it to my instagram..

I tried to do the same to no avail

Upon arrival, guests were given wristbands and directed to the fitting area for suits and helmets. Each flight was preceded by personalized instruction. While food was not provided, the venue offered ample seating and allowing us to bring our own birthday cake. Instructor Elijah was outstanding, showcasing impressive flying skills and gifting my son an additional round of high flight as a birthday gesture, that was really nice of him to do that. Thank you! I took an advantage of their weekdays $89 deal per person with 2flights each. Weekends, it's $109 so you get a little saving. There is a $20 upgrade for the high flight experience but it's well worth it, offering kids an exhilarating adventure that I highly recommend. It's a really fun experience everyone enjoys.

I just said okay then I will cancel our " THE AFTERBURNER FLIGHT ". The moment he heard it, I heard him yelling, Dad packed it up, mom called. They came home to hug me and says let's go, mom. So we arrive at the place in EL CAJON SAN DIEGO and saw a lot of planes but we were instructed to wait outside for safety reasons because there were a lot of planes coming in and out and only get in when a PILOT comes to pick us up. we CHOSE the FLIGHT called .... When it's my son's turn to fly, we are greeted by a very nice Pilot. The FIRST thing we did was go to the briefing room with our Pilot where we watch the Safety and Rules while Flying. I was too nervous while my son was getting ready and my son was just relaxed and have this big smile like he is so excited about it. We watch them start flying out until they just disappeared from our sight. A couple of hours later they came back and my son start talking about the different kinds of Exhibitions they did. Some examples of what they did were: *The inside loop *The outside loop *The Aileron Roll *The Tailside *Stall Turn * Falling Leaf My son was very Happy about his flight and says: "BEST EXPERIENCE to FLY a PLANE" and did "Stunts" in the air. I was familiar with the Torrey Pines Gliderport but didn't know that Warner Springs had an area for sailplanes/gliders. A glider is a fixed-wing aircraft that is supported in flight by the dynamic reaction of the air against its lifting surfaces, and whose free flight does not depend on an engine. Normally a sailplane relies on rising air to maintain altitude. So we made a date out of it. We booked our flight at 10AM on Saturday, September 16th. On the drive there, we were a bit apprehensive as the mountains were cloudy and it was somewhat drizzling, but after exiting and we reached Warner Springs it was bright and sunny. As we were parking, we saw a view of several sailplanes/gliders. Walking inside, we were immediately welcomed by one of their staff - Piper. Piper was a big dark brown golden retriever with flashes of golden, SUPER friendly, and immediately went on her tummy for rubs. The interior was decorated with cloths with notations of those completed their first flight of flying. There was an area for kids to play in, some bar stools around, and a seating area right next to the bathroom. They also had a cat strolling around, doing its own thing. The bathroom had a wall of interesting tidbits, so be careful if you go in! You may be in there for a while reading them. We got checked in and the kind lady (possibly Donna?) working the desk let us know that Garret will be with us in a few minutes as he was finishing up another flight. We saw a few people fly their first plane out or were taking lessons. While we were waiting, Piper kept us company with asks for pats. When it was our turn, the lady gave us a camera for Garret/his colleague (whose name I forgot) to hook on to the plane, and we walked on out to go on our 30 minute flight. For our reservation purchase, it is for the ride and also for an SD card for the memory of the flight. If you were flying just on your own, you get the opportunity of flying the sailplane under the supervision of the pilot in the front. Since there was two of us, they had to take the controls out from the back. Our pilot, Garret, helped us get into our seating space, and buckled us in, as well as giving us instructions on where we can get air during the ride. We were a cozy squeeze in the back, while Garret was in the front. His colleague helped to ensure we were towed by a plane ahead. It was an amazing view, and a bit surreal to have flown up. Garret and my husband conversed, and he asked a lot of questions. We had minor turbulence. My husband got to disconnect us from the other plane and we were gliding in the air. I did end up bringing a gift to the ground, as I had just a banana for breakfast - which was probably too acidic for the ride. Garret also checked that I was comfortable before he brought us on a fast loop dive (which I've only seen in movies), it was something else to actually experience it. We had the opportunity of flying with Garret Willat. Garret represented the US Open Class team in 2008 and 2010 and the Club Class team in 2014. And he has won 3 US National Championships. I would recommend that if you're looking to do, and you're not afraid of heights/rides, check out Sky Sailing. And for food, check out Jeremy's on a Hill! They have a reservation system and I would suggest that you get food if you had nothing left in your body if you also bought back a gift. Or just Julian after, super close!
