What an incredible experience! This was our first time indoor skydiving, and I can confidently say it will definitely not be our last. The entire experience felt very safe, well-organized, and exciting from start to finish. I went with my son, and sharing that moment together made it even more special. The staff did an amazing job explaining everything and making us feel comfortable before we stepped into the wind tunnel. A special shout-out to Sammy, who has apparently been there since day one. His experience, professionalism, and energy made the whole flight unforgettable. You can tell he truly loves what he does and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great time. If you're looking for something unique and exciting to do in San Diego, this is absolutely the place. Whether it's your first time or you're bringing family, you'll walk away with a memory you won't forget. Highly recommend -- ask for Sammy!

Chris & Brycen were awesome! We felt so lucky to have them as our instructors and air control! These guys were super knowledgeable, funny and kind to my family and I. My 23 year old son and 9 year old daughter had the BEST time at iFly! What a thrill. We did pay the extra $20 for the high fly. That was worth it. The instructor Chris was so patient with my kiddos! Thanks iFly we can't wait to return!

I went on Groupon looking for ideas for things to do with my kiddos ages 11 and 9 while they were on spring break and this came up. They were in for a fun surprise! They went in a bit nervous at first but trainer Chris C. Was very good with them, helping put them at ease and ensuring they were safe while having fun. I definitely recommend this for kids all ages, well worth it

This was something pretty cool. It was my first time. You're in the air for exactly 60 seconds. It's cool but very short lived, I feel like we should've been able to do more like flips and things like that. The air pressure is very strong so if you have your mouth open your saliva will fly everywhere and slap you in your face lol

Awesome experience! If you're thinking about trying indoor skydiving the answer is yes! The instructors were very cool, and made the experience even cooler. We got a pretty fair mid week price, but i believe it's more expensive on the weekend. There is a car charger in the parking lot, which is a huge plus for me!

Family package reservations for five. Was slightly hard to plan birthday events with so many people and time. So we did a smaller event with five. We got paired with Christian. Overall it was spectacular. We were all novice first timers. Christian gave us a little background of himself. Made it more personal. We got suited up. And also upgrades for the high flight. Super worth it. Exciting free vids but also paired nicely with my own go pro footage. FYI I filmed others when not flying. Not while flying. I am not one that would do this many more times. But others really wanted more and even got packages there. Such fun. Thanks Christian. I'd you can. Ask for him.

We had an AWESOME experience here and wish they had a location by us so we could come consistently! The staff, and Alex (who was our "flight attendant") a were all SO GREAT! They were so nice and helpful and put my 3 kids at ease. They offer a safe, fun, and inviting adventure for all ages and all levels of flyers, and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone!

Drove down to San Diego on a Sunday and saw this place off the freeway. Decided it might be cool and dropped in (get it?)..talked to the staff and learned they had an opening in an hour or so, and booked it! They asked a bunch of medical questions and now I understand why-it really is work on your body-even just to hold your arms out for a minute against the super strong winds. The staff are informative and the instructor was awesome and was very aware as it was his job to make sure everyone was safe and don't break themselves or the tunnel. We took turns doing a minute each, the rest time in between helped a lot. I'd suggest getting the full face helmet-makes it much more enjoyable and comfortable, even with glasses! Also get the high flying option. It feels neat to go up and down. If you can, watch some people do it and you can see the difference. They have some merch-no stickers or magnets, but shirts and even pop sockets! Dave the instructor was awesome and showed some of his skills-check out the snip of the video!

Pacific Coast Skydiving personnel was so great! Rosie was always available via phone when I called about what to wear, can I have friends come and watch, can I make video changes because the songs were not right, etc and she was very professional and friendly, and just a sweet person. My tandem skydiver was Phil. He was awesome! We had a great conversation (limited due to the noise level of the plane), and he just made it a fun experience. He did allow me to pull the cords to make it the skydiving parachuted turn-- which my stomach couldn't handle. The video recording and photos were definitely worth the price. I couldn't get enough of watching the video over and over and over again! I loved it! I do recommend for those who get motion sickness easily to 1) wear sea bands and 2) take Dramamine. My husband recommends: 1) wear those silicone earplugs that you insert in your ears because the airplane is really loud and was painful for my husband who also has tinnitus in the ear. Also, the harness was tighten too much on his legs that he felt his leg nerves were in a lot of pain. Overall, I highly recommend Pacific Coast Skydiving and would do it again!

I was super excited and wasn't afraid at all but if you are scared, they'll put you at ease. I jumped with Simeon and he was fantastic. He's very funny and was cracking jokes the whole time to make you feel comfortable. The jumpers have a lot of experience too, so there's no need to feel worried or scared. ---- How it worked: - The process is arrive 30 minutes early from the booking time - Go thru the gate, they text you the code either the day before or the morning of - Park and walk up to the seating area and building where you are greeted by the staff and jumpers - You fill out liability forms and sign waivers - Then you pay the remaining amount - Next they put the harness on you and then trained on what to do when you jump - Then they film some footage of you, walk to the plane, and take off - They film bits and pieces throughout the entire process like during the walk to the plane, on the plane ride up, and on the jump down - You fly up for a few minutes maybe like 10ish minutes, maybe less? During the flight they pointed out some places like the Mexico border and some prisons, they also open up the door so you can get a better view - It's very, very loud on the plane especially when they open the door, so if possible I'd ask if they have ear plugs or if you can bring your own - Once you reach closer to the altitude, they attach onto your harness, put on the goggles, then they open the door and you jump! - They let you steer the parachute a little bit and you can do spins, but if your like me and get motion sickness I'd recommend taking some medicine before hand or skip the spins haha - On the landing, you keep your legs up until they tell you to walk/run - On the ground, they detach from you, remove the harness, then you hop into their van to drive a couple minutes back to the building area you arrived at - They compile the footage from their GoPros into a short video to preview which took a few minutes - You have the option to buy the photos and videos at the end of the jump or if you want to decide later, they say they save all the footage just in case ---- My only gripe is that the plane ride up was reallyyy loud and I have sensitive ears, they didn't give any protection like ear plugs unfortunately, so my ears were hurting a bit during the ride :( beside that everything was very quick and great ---- Other notes: - The entire process from arrival to finishing watching the videos of the jump was around an hour - They said be prepared to spend 2 hours there but I think that's if there are larger groups of jumpers, we had the 10am appointment and were the first ones there so it was really quick - In their waiting area there's a lot of tables and a ping pong table as well - There are 2 bathrooms available and a water dispenser if you're thirsty ---- Overall: A fun experience to check off the bucket list, there's no reason to be scared, great staff and jumpers, ask about ear protection tho! Shoutout to Simeon :)

I was familiar with the Torrey Pines Gliderport but didn't know that Warner Springs had an area for sailplanes/gliders. A glider is a fixed-wing aircraft that is supported in flight by the dynamic reaction of the air against its lifting surfaces, and whose free flight does not depend on an engine. Normally a sailplane relies on rising air to maintain altitude. So we made a date out of it. We booked our flight at 10AM on Saturday, September 16th. On the drive there, we were a bit apprehensive as the mountains were cloudy and it was somewhat drizzling, but after exiting and we reached Warner Springs it was bright and sunny. As we were parking, we saw a view of several sailplanes/gliders. Walking inside, we were immediately welcomed by one of their staff - Piper. Piper was a big dark brown golden retriever with flashes of golden, SUPER friendly, and immediately went on her tummy for rubs. The interior was decorated with cloths with notations of those completed their first flight of flying. There was an area for kids to play in, some bar stools around, and a seating area right next to the bathroom. They also had a cat strolling around, doing its own thing. The bathroom had a wall of interesting tidbits, so be careful if you go in! You may be in there for a while reading them. We got checked in and the kind lady (possibly Donna?) working the desk let us know that Garret will be with us in a few minutes as he was finishing up another flight. We saw a few people fly their first plane out or were taking lessons. While we were waiting, Piper kept us company with asks for pats. When it was our turn, the lady gave us a camera for Garret/his colleague (whose name I forgot) to hook on to the plane, and we walked on out to go on our 30 minute flight. For our reservation purchase, it is for the ride and also for an SD card for the memory of the flight. If you were flying just on your own, you get the opportunity of flying the sailplane under the supervision of the pilot in the front. Since there was two of us, they had to take the controls out from the back. Our pilot, Garret, helped us get into our seating space, and buckled us in, as well as giving us instructions on where we can get air during the ride. We were a cozy squeeze in the back, while Garret was in the front. His colleague helped to ensure we were towed by a plane ahead. It was an amazing view, and a bit surreal to have flown up. Garret and my husband conversed, and he asked a lot of questions. We had minor turbulence. My husband got to disconnect us from the other plane and we were gliding in the air. I did end up bringing a gift to the ground, as I had just a banana for breakfast - which was probably too acidic for the ride. Garret also checked that I was comfortable before he brought us on a fast loop dive (which I've only seen in movies), it was something else to actually experience it. We had the opportunity of flying with Garret Willat. Garret represented the US Open Class team in 2008 and 2010 and the Club Class team in 2014. And he has won 3 US National Championships. I would recommend that if you're looking to do, and you're not afraid of heights/rides, check out Sky Sailing. And for food, check out Jeremy's on a Hill! They have a reservation system and I would suggest that you get food if you had nothing left in your body if you also bought back a gift. Or just Julian after, super close!
