It was about 3:00 and the restaurant was on a 45 minute wait. We decided to sit at the bar and have an appetizer while we waited for our table. They were unusually busy because of college graduations. We had a shrimp appetizer which was recommended by the bartender. It was delicious! It had the right amount of spice for us. Our table was ready right as we finished our appetizer. The hostess was very polite and asked us if we were celebrating anything special.. We were promptly greeted by our server Elisabeth who was wonderful. She told us the specials and inquired if it was our first visit. We ordered the espresso rubbed ribeye w/ a baked potato & Caesar salad. We decided to share a steak and ordered an extra wedge salad. Everything was delicious. The steak was a perfect medium. The butter that is served with the bread is heavenly. I was thrilled with my Caesar salad that had anchovies on top. My wedge salad was amazing. This was one of the best steaks we have ever had. We would highly recommend the restaurant for lunch or dinner. 5 ask for Elisabeth if you want a wonderful dining experience!

This popped up as a recommendation of 4.9 starts with almost 4500 reviews. Started at the bar, the bartender let us know it was happy hour, so we both got drinks and waited for our table. Once seated, our server took excellent care of us, asking about food allergies, etc. We skipped appetizers so we could get dessert, so ordered a filet and the Chilean Sea Bass Oscar. OMG, the food was phenomenal. The steak was cooked to perfection with homemade Boursin cheese. The Sea Bass was probably the best fish dish I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, crab and grilled asparagus was just delicious. The Asiago creamed spinach and the rice pilaf were both excellent as well. The rice was different than any I've ever had. It had dried blueberries, red peppers, onions and pepitas in it. Absolutely delicious. Glad we saved room for dessert. German Chocolate cake was just as good as everything else. One of the best meals I've ever had. If you are in the area, this is a must add to your dining experience.

We had heard of this place for a while and wanted to check it out and we're so glad we did. The food and service were amazing. Walking in it's a narrow restaurant, that has a bar on one side and tables on the other with kinda a rustic feel to it. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. Since we hadn't been there before we got water and then pursued the menu a little for drinks. I had a question between two drinks and the server was very good at describing the drinks and ultimately decided to try the Darryl Strawberry, while my husband got the Nor'easter. The drinks came out and they were really good. They weren't overly strong, you could taste the bourbon in each of them, but it wasn't overpowering. For food we got the OPA! to start and then the Billy for me and the Mother Clucker for him. The OPA was awesome. It's pan seared feta with honey and served with fresh bread. The honey added a little extra sweetness to the feta which went really nicely with the crusty bread. The Billy had goat cheese, bacon, onions and, a tomato jam on it. It was delicious. The creamy goat cheese with the bacon and smokey tomato jam all went amazingly together. I got onion rings as my side, which were crunchy hot and so so good. The Mother Clucker was also really good. I only had a bite of it to try, but was definitely impressed. My husband upgraded to the duck fat fries which were out of this world. Super crunchy, great flavor. Our server kept checking back on us the whole time making sure we were satisfied with our drinks and food, but we had absolutely no complaints. This is a great place for a date if you want good food or to hang out with friends. We will definitely be back.

What a pleasant surprise! When you are forced to make a food choice bc you are known as the yelper…read moresometimes you just have to make a decision and boy did this one pay off. Do not let the outside of this place turn you away. It looks like a throw away but you would be doing yourself a dis service. Do not sleep on the Neva's potatoes or the Awesome Avocado Jack Burger subbing the veg burger for a meat burger... they are a steak house. Two others changed their orders after I ordered. It was excellent. It would be a vibey spot for a drink or dinner.

After we ordered, they brought us freshly baked sourdough bread. I thought the bread had a strong sourdough taste and was incredibly soft. For my meal, I ordered Maryland Crab Cakes and they were served with one side and I decided to go with blue cheese grits. The crab cakes had a beautiful golden brown crust and were incredibly lumpy. I thought the grits were very creamy and had a mild blue cheese flavor. I highly recommend trying the crab cakes with the grits. My mom chose the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad and she loved it. My dad got the chicken salad sandwich with fries and he thought it was good. If you're ever in the area of Copper Cellar, I highly recommend checking them out.
