The Sweetest Little Shop With the Most Dangerous Cupcakes I thought I was popping in to grab a few cupcakes "for my neighbors." Yeah... that was a lie I told myself. These cupcakes are ridiculously good. They look like they belong in a magazine and taste even better. I started with the Death by Chocolate--because obviously--and it was everything I hoped for. Then I tried the banana cream... and suddenly I was in trouble. At that point I just gave up pretending and inhaled the rest. Zero regrets. If you have even a shred of self-control, get the mini cupcakes. They give you that perfect little taste and might help you avoid eating the ones you bought as gifts. (No promises.) Run, don't walk. Your sweet tooth will thank you. read more

Tried the Gelato couple weeks ago and love it! The people are always so nice! Devin was super sweet and helpful letting me know about what is new and such. I had a great encounter with the new owners and this place is top notch. The owners are precious and very kind. They have redone the inside and made the outside a nice place to sit (it's been awhile since I've been here!). They had lots of flavors of yogurt and tons of toppings. They even have a Photo Booth! We will be coming back for sure! read more

The new owners are fabulous! I went by this afternoon for some birthday cupcakes and they custom iced some for me on the spot. Thank you!

The ambiance was cute and quaint. The service was great! Everyone was nice, welcoming, and patient! The mini cupcakes were good. I took a star off only because they were a tad bit too sweet for my liking. read more

It's a really mixed review as the cookies and cream Gelato was a 5, but the cupcakes were maybe a 3/3.5 at best. And that is related to the price of them as well. They are not as big as Smallcakes but somehow cost the same and nowhere as good. We tried banana pudding, red velvet(which in Texas is chocolate cake with red food coloring), chocolate cream cheese, the OMG(and I said OMG cuz I couldn't finish it) and oreo which also tasted like a regular chocolate cupcake. So, if you're not here for cupcakes, the other treats here are worth the visit. read more

A super cute spot for dessert in Temple. I really like picking up their mini cupcake boxes! They are perfect for birthdays. If you are looking for a particular flavor, I would check the website before - some are available every day, and others are only made on certain days of the week. Gogo's also serves froyo & gelato, which I would like to try next time! read more

Pretty good! Lots of options for toppings and my hubby loves that. They have gelato, cute cupcakes and frozen yogurt. Prices are steep but I always think that about froyo places. They kind of had some supplies out and trash out on a back table where you can sit. Kind of bothered me because it wasn't appetizing to eat by. Parking lot kind of tight and busy. read more

Delicious! My sister found this place when we were in a bind. My family has a regular cookie lady we buy homemade cookies from, often as party favors. My sister had put in an order for several dozen cookies as party favors for my wedding. A few days before my big day, the cookie lady got sick. I was gutted, I thought, "We won't have a small treat for the guests; no big deal," but was still pretty bummed. Well, my sister looked up a place to get mini cupcakes and Gogo's popped up. She then called me, and said that she could get me a few dozen cupcakes instead of the cookies I wanted. She and another family member tried a couple of flavors and they assured me I wouldn't be disappointed. I was skeptical, and still sad about the cookies, but I picked a couple of flavors. We purchased a few dozen of their mini cupcakes. Gogo's sells certain flavors on certain days in their shop. If you want a different day's flavor, you need to put in an order ahead of time for a dozen or more. No problem. I went with Churro and Strawberry with only a few days to go before the wedding. The morning of, my sister arrived with a large box of tiny treats! She also kindly bought me and my now husband a six pack, 3 churro and 3 vanilla, so we could taste them before putting any out for guests. Let me tell you, she was not joking. They were delicious! I'm so glad she found this place. Guests loved them, and a couple people tried to snag what was left of my gifted 6-pack! They really came through, and their service was friendly and helpful. I definitely want to try a treat directly from the oven if I'm ever in the area. read more

Saturday I walked into the store with my daughter to enjoy your Gelato. The reviews were so encouraging that I honestly was very excited to come in. However what happened when we walked in made me not only NOT spend any money but also put negative posts about your business on my social media pages. We walked in before a white male and his son. I only give that info because it seemed as though the blonde headed girl behind the counter only wanted to serve them. Infact there was also another worker (an older brown haired female) that was cleaning out one of the ice cream machines who never asked us as we stood by the Gelato counter if we needed any help. It was only after the white male and his son left that my daughter asked the question of "did we need to walk to this counter over here first to be serviced?" Disappointing to say the least and no I cannot allow another chance for myself. Yet it should be noted that unless you have no desire to have others visit your business that are of any other color than white than let it be known upfront. read more

Although l live in East Texas when it comes to my family's Birthday's or Anniversaries who do l call? Gogo cakes is a family owned and operated business. Can you say the best cupcakes EVER! The owner is a trained pastry chef, so she didn't just stumble into these delicious recipes. I love the salted caramel and the red velvet with cream cheese icing. There are plenty of inventive flavors to choose from, so you won't get bored. Not that big on sweets, there are mini versions of each cupcake, so you won't slip into a diabetic coma LOL. Please stop by this locally owned business if your ever in Temple. It's right across the street from the hospital in the plaza. read more

What a wonderful little dessert shop! I absolutely adore dessert in all forms, and this shop has a little bit of everything. I only had their mini cupcakes today, but I'm eager to return for the gelato and frozen yogurt. Almost all of the cupcakes come in regular and mini sizes. The minis are $1.25/each or a little less than $14 for a dozen. Honestly a steal in my opinion. They had 13 mini flavors today, and I got 10 different flavors. All of the cakes are delightfully moist with a dollop of sweet buttercream. The flavors are very pronounced in each cupcake, and you can definitely tell what you're tasting. I love that most of them have a filling in the middle. The raspberry filled was a nice tart contrast to the sweet buttercream. My boyfriend even said these are the best cupcakes he's ever eaten. I'll definitely be back to taste the different weekly flavors. read more

HOLY SMOKES, Y'all ! These cupcakes are hands down , the best I've ever had! Today we tried OMG Brownie, Sugar Cookie and Hummingbird. They are delicious ! The icing is yummy (and I've never been a huge fan of icing ) and the flavors are decadent . You gotta go to Gogo's ! read more

My husband and I tried the gelato with two scoops each. The Bourbon apple pie and Belgian chocolate. He had the peanut butter cup and the expresso. All four flavors were incredible. Each flavor had little pieces of chocolate or peanut butter candy or apple pie inside. The size of the cups and scoops went perfectly together. It was just enough. I also brought the 12 count mini cupcakes in all assorted flavors. Haven't tried them all yet but the red velvet and Boston cream pie are to die for! I ate them too quickly to take pictures. Next time! read more

Topped it with many various toppings - there were way more than I realized which was awesome! I also got a mini blueberry stuffed lemon cupcake and the caramel apple one as well. I love this place. The ice cream is great. The cupcakes are good as well. I go at least twice a month. The service is always good.

It's a cute local owed place. I always like to support local businesses. They gave a lot of variety of cupcakes, cake pops and froyo. I didn't try the froyo this time but I'll go back. What I liked was they have mini cupcake options. Sometimes I just want a taste and for less than $2 I can. I can make my own cupcakes and cake pops but sometimes it's just more special When you go out and get them. It wasn't dry and they package them cute. I think the prices are fair for what you get. read more

After reading all the rave reviews on how good the cupcakes were, I must say I was very disappointed. Maybe I came on a bad day. The cupcakes were sooo dry. The Creme Brûlée was supposed to be filled, but I only noticed a very small amount in it...like one tiny bite. Maybe since the cake was so dry it absorbed all the filling? The other cupcake, Sugar Cookie, was so incredibly dry that I ended up throwing it away after 3 bites. The website says they are made fresh daily, but mine tasted several days old. Flavor was good, but hard to choke down a cupcake as dry as the desert. read more

Solid fro-yo selection with a wide variety of flavors and toppings. Small snickerdoodle cupcake was on the dry side. The two young men on duty in the shop were awkward, couldn't answer questions about the items for sale, and couldn't wait to get back to playing on their phones. The kicker was that we wanted to use the restroom before leaving (we were on a road trip) but one of them holed up in the only bathroom for over 15 minutes so we had to find another place. Admittedly we went there about an hour before they were supposed to close but not the greatest experience. read more

My son and I really enjoy the frozen yogurt and cupcakes but that doesn't make up for the rude staff! The girls at the front counter are very rude and when I notified the owners, they ignored it! So glad there is a fro yo place in T Town now! When I go visit the parents, I don't have to wait until I get back to Round Rock to get my fix. The yogurt here is extra creamy and sweet---huge points for me. I got my all time favorite, cake batter, when I went yesterday. As far as toppings go, they don't have an insane amount like Yogurt Planet in Austin does, but they have all of my favorites like nuts and crushed-up candy. I guess what is mostly missing are the random toppings like squishy balls. GoGo's also serves cupcakes which are delicious. However, they are almost $3 a piece, which is expensive by Temple standards and not any bigger than a grocery store cupcake. The best thing in the world is that they have been running a special that if you check in on Facebook, they will take $1 off. Nice! read more
