It's a really mixed review as the cookies and cream Gelato was a 5, but the cupcakes were maybe a 3/3.5 at best. And that is related to the price of them as well. They are not as big as Smallcakes but somehow cost the same and nowhere as good. We tried banana pudding, red velvet(which in Texas is chocolate cake with red food coloring), chocolate cream cheese, the OMG(and I said OMG cuz I couldn't finish it) and oreo which also tasted like a regular chocolate cupcake. Saturday I walked into the store with my daughter to enjoy your Gelato. The reviews were so encouraging that I honestly was very excited to come in. However what happened when we walked in made me not only NOT spend any money but also put negative posts about your business on my social media pages. We walked in before a white male and his son. I only give that info because it seemed as though the blonde headed girl behind the counter only wanted to serve them. Infact there was also another worker (an older brown haired female) that was cleaning out one of the ice cream machines who never asked us as we stood by the Gelato counter if we needed any help. It was only after the white male and his son left that my daughter asked the question of "did we need to walk to this counter over here first to be serviced?" Disappointing to say the least and no I cannot allow another chance for myself. Delicious! My sister found this place when we were in a bind. My family has a regular cookie lady we buy homemade cookies from, often as party favors. My sister had put in an order for several dozen cookies as party favors for my wedding. A few days before my big day, the cookie lady got sick. I was gutted, I thought, "We won't have a small treat for the guests; no big deal," but was still pretty bummed. Well, my sister looked up a place to get mini cupcakes and Gogo's popped up. She then called me, and said that she could get me a few dozen cupcakes instead of the cookies I wanted. She and another family member tried a couple of flavors and they assured me I wouldn't be disappointed. I was skeptical, and still sad about the cookies, but I picked a couple of flavors. We purchased a few dozen of their mini cupcakes. Gogo's sells certain flavors on certain days in their shop. If you want a different day's flavor, you need to put in an order ahead of time for a dozen or more. No problem. I went with Churro and Strawberry with only a few days to go before the wedding. The morning of, my sister arrived with a large box of tiny treats! She also kindly bought me and my now husband a six pack, 3 churro and 3 vanilla, so we could taste them before putting any out for guests. Let me tell you, she was not joking. They were delicious! I'm so glad she found this place. Guests loved them, and a couple people tried to snag what was left of my gifted 6-pack! They really came through, and their service was friendly and helpful. Can you say the best cupcakes EVER! The owner is a trained pastry chef, so she didn't just stumble into these delicious recipes. I love the salted caramel and the red velvet with cream cheese icing. I only had their mini cupcakes today, but I'm eager to return for the gelato and frozen yogurt. Almost all of the cupcakes come in regular and mini sizes. The minis are $1.25/each or a little less than $14 for a dozen. Honestly a steal in my opinion. They had 13 mini flavors today, and I got 10 different flavors. All of the cakes are delightfully moist with a dollop of sweet buttercream. The flavors are very pronounced in each cupcake, and you can definitely tell what you're tasting. I love that most of them have a filling in the middle. The raspberry filled was a nice tart contrast to the sweet buttercream. My boyfriend even said these are the best cupcakes he's ever eaten. After reading all the rave reviews on how good the cupcakes were, I must say I was very disappointed. Maybe I came on a bad day. The cupcakes were sooo dry. The Creme Brûlée was supposed to be filled, but I only noticed a very small amount in it...like one tiny bite. Maybe since the cake was so dry it absorbed all the filling? The other cupcake, Sugar Cookie, was so incredibly dry that I ended up throwing it away after 3 bites. The website says they are made fresh daily, but mine tasted several days old. So glad there is a fro yo place in T Town now! When I go visit the parents, I don't have to wait until I get back to Round Rock to get my fix. The yogurt here is extra creamy and sweet---huge points for me. I got my all time favorite, cake batter, when I went yesterday. As far as toppings go, they don't have an insane amount like Yogurt Planet in Austin does, but they have all of my favorites like nuts and crushed-up candy. I guess what is mostly missing are the random toppings like squishy balls. GoGo's also serves cupcakes which are delicious. However, they are almost $3 a piece, which is expensive by Temple standards and not any bigger than a grocery store cupcake. The best thing in the world is that they have been running a special that if you check in on Facebook, they will take $1 off. Nice! read more

So first off when I got there it was 8 minutes until opening and there was 3 people waiting outside to get in, that tells you how good this place is and when I tell you these cupcakes are amazing. My gosh!!! They are amazing. So good. And you can tell they spend a lot of time on them. Slightly expensive so be prepared to go in there and spend 27.50 on 12 regular sized cupcakes. But the quality IS there. The cupcakes don't stay that fresh overnight, as the icing gets hard on the outside (still taste good) so make sure you get enough so that you and your party can finish them within the day.
