Then she started chatting with the passenger on the front seat and missed her exit to the airport. She had to reroute and it put 30 minutes into our schedule. Finally we got to the airport she dropped all of us off at the arrival level -- added additional time to our 30 minutes to go to departure level. The whole time she continued talking incessantly with the passenger, talking about her life: her daughter graduating, how she lived in Alaska, how Florida is full of stupid people, on and on .....I feel that she compromised our safety, and delayed our arrival.

This is the 2nd year our organization has booked with Miami Motorcoach for our annual statewide…read morecollege tour and it will definitely be the last. The first year was okay albeit a very old and outdated bus, but we decided to give it another try. The bus this year was more antiquated then the first and was not inspected thoroughly before picking up our group. Midway through our trip the driver discovered that the air pressure needed to be fixed and pulled off at an exit. Approximately 40 students and staff were stuck on the side of the road in Gainesville for 5 hours waiting for a mechanic to come fix it. The mechanic was taking forever so the bus company decided to send another bus from Tampa to pick up our group and drop them off in Orlando. Our students missed their lunch reservation and had to order pizza and then also missed their dinner reservation because they were dropped off. We had to quickly find a venue willing to fix dinner for 40 people with an hour's notice. The worst part is they missed the college tour for the school that everyone wanted to visit the most, UCF. They settled for just visiting the bookstore the next morning, but were not able to have their group tour rescheduled. The bus company offered no compensation for the inconvenience due to their negligence, no apologies, and basically said we should be "grateful" they even sent another bus to pick us up instead of leaving us on the side of the road. They acted like they did us a favor. This is the worst customer service we have ever received and will gladly take our business elsewhere. The only positive of the trip was the driver; the students loved him and he was very friendly and kind. Avoid Miami Motorcoach at ALL COSTS!

The gentleman picked up my family 6 adults from Miami airport on time and drove us to The Elser Hotel. The next day your service drove us to the cruise port. Great service! One week later we return from the cruise I call to let them know we are waiting I'm told 7-10 minutes and the driver not only was an hour late but he has other passengers in the vehicle. I didn't complain about his tardiness or that my ride should have been private. When he dropped us back at The Elser I called VIP to arrange for an earlier pickup the next day afraid that the driver would be late again. I asked for a 5:00pm pickup and once again the car was late. He finally showed up at 5:15 or so and once again more passengers are in our private car. I proceeded to ask for his name and he refused 3 times before saying his name was Carlos. I really don't believe that was his name. I can say that he was rude, unprofessional and a wreak-less driver. I also would like to add that on both days the father figure of the others in the car proceeded to help him put our luggage in and out of the vehicle which I find strange unless of course he was transporting them without VIP knowing. "Carlos" might have a side job going that VIP is unaware of. In my opinion this man should not be working for any reputable car service.

I am currently disputing these charges and would strongly recommend others get everything in writing and double-check their final invoice, and look for oher options.

I opted to try Southern Bus Lines because of their competitive pricing. The expertise was nothing less than 5-stars. All seat worked properly and the A/C was ice cold. This was the worse experience on a charter bus service ever. Our group rented two buses...the A/C…read morewas not functioning properly, the bus driver was unprofessional and rude, broken overhead compartments, several of the seats would not lean back and we were asked (by the bus driver) not to utilize the restroom on a six hour drive upstate unless it was a dire emergency because then there would be a foul smell in the bus. In additional, the rear part of the bus smelled like exhaust fumes. For numerous years, I have used charter buses for work related functions that entailed long road trips for large groups. This was our first time using Southern Bus Lines and by far the most disappointing and frustrating experience.
