Go'Dragon Asian Grill is in the same complex as Wal-Mart on Nine Mile Road, at the west end of that complex. Nothing is cooked to order; all food is pre-cooked and you select which you want, cafeteria style. Go'Dragon Asian Grill is comparable to Chinese eateries that I have seen in airports. As I faced the assortment of foods to select from, the gal behind the counter gave me a sample of Bourbon Chicken. Ugh. Too sweet for my taste. She put several spoonfuls of fried rice into a clamshell, then told me I get to select 2 meats. I chose Kung Pao chicken and chicken tofu. The Kung Pao chicken was pretty good; the Tofu Chicken seemed like fake meat. I also ordered an Egg Roll; it was very good. I'll be back to try a few more things, such as Mochi Ice Cream. All personnel were warm, well-groomed, and helpful. The store was very clean, and parking was easy in the communal lot.

This is by far the worst sushi and Chinese restaurant food I have eaten. The sushi was BARELY there. I have gotten better sushi at buffets and grocery stores. My husband got the bourbon chicken/Hawaiian chicken and fried rice. He said there was absolutely no sauce and no flavor to the chicken. The dumplings were just inedible. They were cold in the middle and had no flavor whatsoever. My son's chicken and broccoli was actually the only half way decent thing in our whole order. It wasn't worth the $30 we paid and We will not be back.

They are located in the shopping center where Planet Fitness is. So I visited this location twice since they've opened. The inside is very bright and colorful. There's plenty of seating to relax and enjoy your food. The staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I think the prices are reasonably (typical mall food court prices). The offer a huge variety of entrees and sides. On my initial visit, I stayed with my normal bourbon chicken with fried rice. Today, I decided to try the seaweed salad. It was really good. I would definitely get it again. My son tried the fried chicken and fries. He said they were good. I would recommend you ask for additional sauce for your entrees. They have steam pans set up so that you can choose what you want or you can order other items such as chciken and fries which are cooked to order. It may be a little wait but not long. On the first visit, they gave us free samples of the smoothies which were really good, I just prefer to make my own. If you ask I'm sure they will give you a sample before you purchase anything. I will definitely recommend this place if you're on this side if town.

Food overprice and lacks flavor. Vegetable fried rice had ZERO vegetables. Beef extremely chewy.

I ordered the Spicy Bangkok Ramen, which was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The bok choy was a nice touch and complemented the dish perfectly. My brother ordered the spicy Soba Noodles and really enjoyed them--the noodles had a nice, chewy texture. My mother chose the Indonesian Ramen and loved the strong basil and lemongrass flavors. She added chicken to her ramen, but unfortunately, it seemed either overcooked or processed. However, the staff handled the issue well and removed it from our bill, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we had a great family dining experience and would definitely return!

I started with some chicken gyoza which was really good and the tangy sauce was very flavorful. Not even 3 minutes after receiving it, I got my main entree which was the scallion chicken and fried rice which was absolutely incredible! The sauce was very sweet with a bit of spice thanks to the peppers in the veggie mix. I heard that this place is known for its ramen so I'll definitely return to try that!

They do have sister restaurants that don't necessarily demand the same recognition, but this is certainly a gym. Situation and the formerly historic Peking, I love that this place pays Amish to the tradition of Chinese in this particular area of town. The staff here is always attentive and intentional. The vibe here is really nice... Especially the patio seating on a nice spring or summer day. I really appreciate the attention to detail with the dishes here - especially the Thai fish filet and appetizer green beans, appetizer eggplant, and eggplant dish. The beef and broccoli here is another fan favorite. Love this place for entertaining friends, family, and loved ones... Especially during the holidays and school season!

The restaurant serves Chinese food but I think it is an American version of Chinese food. It was a busy evening on that Friday, 20 June 2025. DECOR - a beautiful restaurant with white and red covered shaded lamps plus a big red dragon hanging on the ceiling. FOOD -- I ordered the Guandong Fried Rice ($10.50) which comes with peas, carrots, and egg. I added shrimp ($5.50) as my protein. A glass of water was also brought out for me. My friend ordered the basil chicken ($18.50) with a Maine Root Beer drink ($4.50). She loved her order. I enjoyed the Guandong Fried Rice with added shrimp. It wasn't overly rich in flavour. The mixture of the peas, carrots, and egg was a simple yet appetizing combination. There was a lot of food on my plate and I may have taken a to-go box home because I remember not being able to finish my dinner. Parking is street parking. If I ever visit Richmond, VA again, then I will definitely come back to Beijing on Grove. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 123/250 total reviews in 2026 - 964 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 7 June 2026

I got these for the road: Dry-Fried Eggplant Crispy with a touch of savory spice plus cilantro, really good. Grandma Noodles Wavy noodles in a savory brown sauce with dried pepper and cilantro. Spicy but good spicy. Much better than the last time I had them, they hadn't congealed yet. When I mixed everything together it was great. Pork in Spicy Garlic Sauce Oh yeah. Even with just one spice pepper, this rocks. This is what I remember enjoying from years back. Tender shredded pork in a spicy sauce with garlic and multiple kinds of peppers. Would definitely go back if in the area. Parking was easy in the strip mall next to Walmart. Ordering online was easy and pickup was friendly and quick.

And it's not dumbed down American Chinese at all. My husband and I both work from home so we get to go have lunch at area restaurants from time to time. We have our regular places and we order Peter Chang's for takeout sometimes, but when we were deciding where to eat and knowing we were short on time, I suggested Peter Chang. For our meal we ordered dumplings, which were amazing. The dipping sauce was to die for...I need to research it and try to make it. We also got the scallion pancake, which came with a curry dipping sauce. Also very good. For lunch there is a menu that is typical of Chinese restaurants where you get a choice of soup (I chose hot and sour) and rice (I chose white rice). For my main I selected hot and numbing chicken from the lunch menu. My husband got three pepper steak. We also got jasmine tea, although if you prefer an adult beverage they have a bar. The food was excellent, service was attentive but not overbearing. It was a great meal and we both have lots of leftovers. The restaurant can be a bit noisy because it's just a big open room, but it's okay. The table next to use was loud talkers with no inside voice, so I got to hear all about their trip to Charlottesville for a concert. Sounds like they had a good time. I wish people were more self-aware about the volume of their voices in public but maybe his ears were wrecked from the concert. P.S. Peter Chang was the chef to a Chinese dignitary like an ambassador so he's the real deal.
