Ordered the Sawtooth Heritage Tuscan guitar online. When it arrived, the G, B, and E tuning pegs were broken making it such that you could not tune the guitar. I took it to the store today and Robbie took an entire set of tuning pegs off a broken headstock and replaced the three tuners. Considering the circumstances, I applaud Robbie for his assistance and professionalism. Now, the bad. I called multiple times and sent an email hoping to resolve this problem without having to go to their physical store location (this is why I ordered online). Unable to speak with anyone, I felt it necessary to to go to their physical location. I asked Robbie if there was some way he could compensate me for my time and trouble. He declined saying that he could not authorize any compensation. My expectation would have been a free t-shirt, or maybe a set of strings, perhaps a few guitar picks, a discount on a future purchase - a small item of nominal value to their organization to keep a customer happy. Meh, it didn't happen. Probably won't do business here again. Oh, as an aside, this store is not open Saturday or Sunday...that makes it difficult for me to make it to this location during the week with traffic and where I work. I left work early to get to their location today. read more

GoDpsMusic - Tuning pegs on the right were broken off. - Musical Instruments & Teachers Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

I bought one of their used drum sets and it seemed like a solid price. It was a nice maple Gretsh Catalina 6 piece kit with a nice amber finish. The set was in great condition and I have not had any complains about it since. I slapped on some new drum heads and love the tone. Overall I would return again they had other used sets at reasonable prices. read more

I really don't understand how this business is open and operating YOU GUYS SUCK. Tried all their ext no one is answering its 3 hours after opening and not a god damn person is answering a phone. You guys are bums BUMS keep hiring BUMS and see how slowly your business is going to crumble. Bin calling for 3 days during your business hours no one answers. I'm not going to drive 105 miles to spend my money in your dumb store if you guys cant even pick up a simple call. Now i see how true all the negative reviews are real for your business. read more

Worst experience ordering ever. Don't order anything online unless you want to be treated poorly and talked down to. Bryan is the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with in my life. This may be a great store to go into but Don't order through Amazon from them! read more

This company rocks, literally. Great customer service

Great place to play instore and to try out new products. Good selection of everything from acoustic to electrics to drum kits. Brendon even told me that all the guitars come with free accessories which is pretty sweet. read more

I ordered a Breedlove acoustic guitar through Walmart marketplace from GoDpsMusic and was sent a guitar that was $50 cheaper then I paid. No refund exchange or response from GoDpsMusic after two weeks of trying to contact them via phone and email no response from them at all. Go to a well known and trusted music store these guys are crooks not honest with their product. Walmart market place could not get in touch with them after several attempts so think hard before making a purchase from them. Not one star they would be negative if I could do it read more

Ordered two guitar stands on Amazon. Package got lost. Not the store's fault of course and it happens to the best of us. BUT - reached out to seller to get refund/help - A: Crickets. No response. Not acceptable. Avoid. read more

Where to begin... Let me start by saying this review is not on the store itself, but online ordering. Their online ordering is associated with Amazon. I placed an order for Christmas and had guaranteed 2day shipping with Amazon. This was not the issue. Here is the problem My order was supposedly sent from dps to a distribution center via ups. When I contacted ups they told me the order never left the originators building. I called Amazon and was told dps was going to take care of it and I would have my order in 2 days. Well guess what it has been over a a week and still..no order. Amazon was great and refunded my money, but the MAJOR problem is that my son will not have this gift to open on Christmas Day and this was the only big thing he was wanting all year!!! I am very upset, as he will also be tomorrow. This was my first order for something from dps and WILL BE MY LAST! read more

Such a great music store! They have a wide inventory and every time I've gone on with my niece, we've received the best customer service. Bryan is very helpful! read more

Did not like the way I was treated. Could have gone to GC and got treated better. Or at Instrumental Music. At least they say Hi.

Best music store I've been to hands down. Been going to guitar center and instrumental music for years and these guys blow them out of the water. Got a setup done here and they got my SG playing better than ever. Great service. Every time I've come in i've been helped promptly. read more

This seller shipped the wrong ukelele from an Amazon order. When I posted a comment about this mistake on the seller feedback page they demanded I remove my comment before they would process my return. This kind of demand is directly against Amazon policy. I had returned the item but this seller could not provide the correct item. They held my refund hostage until I removed my truthful yet unflattering comment. Beware of this company!! read more

Mmmmmmm where to start??? I like the lay out of the store, equip well presented drums guitars amps, thats what you really want to see on this kinda stores. Anyway i would given 5 stars but didnt happen the 3 missing starts are from some missing "costumer service" to not making a purchase. since all the people acknowledged me walking in the store and no one did greet me, i dunno whats the deal with the mexicans or latinos around this neighborhood but im mexican and as such we like to paid in cash most our big transactions well i least me, i walked in hoping that they have orange amps for bass, none!!!! there was a lot of oranges for only guitar, bit i didnt see any for bass unless ive missed them. Im about to drop 1500 to 2500 in cash for an orange head but seems like there was no interest at all on this folks to even greet me. I get close to the counter and some gal that was fixing a guitar look at me turn around and keep fixing the guitar. I like to spend good $$$ on my equip, i own 3 real ESP guitars/bass and i was able to find the orange amp that i wanted all the way to sherman oaks.but i guess some folks dont want the money. I will call the store for futures purchases and maybe once i walk in again the service will be different AND i give this a folks a second chance. read more

Drum and guitar lessons with decent selection in store and great online selection with the best prices in town. They have a down to earth staff and repaired my guitar beautifully. I think it might even sound better now. read more

Fantastic music store. I bought my brother a guitar for Christmas, and brought it in hoping to restring the guitar with softer, beginner-friendly strings (Instrumental Music didn't have time to do this for us). Turns out the guy behind the counter lowered the action on the guitar for us, completely changing the playability of the instrument so that we didn't even need the softer strings! I was bewildered by his knowledge and willingness to help. He also didn't charge at all for his help. We walked out of the store with a new capo and feeling like we had just bought a new guitar. Needless to say, a very good day made possible by GoDPsMusic (and the guy behind the counter!). read more

Checking out the new Bedell acoustic line and the new Guild electrics. Someday, once I learn well enough to deserve such beautiful works of art and music. Thanks Go DPS see you again real soon. Super rad place. Get my strings from here and play the open mics/jam sessions. Prefer over instrumental music!
